Sicilyjoe:Please bros don't give people info about what you do not know! I still passed Seme border on Friday 24th Jan 2020 on my way back to Accra. I drove through the border gates, stepped out of my car, went into the immigration booth to stamp my passport, got my vehicle checked by officers of Nigeria Customs service, and NDLEA. For your information, I wasn't the only traveler who was attended to. There were vehicles of ABC transport, GUO motors, GIGM, and Chisco transport ahead of me and several private vehicles behind me in the queue. It is only cargo laden vehicles that the border closure is affected. Mind you, I drove through same border when I entered Nigeria on the 21st Dec 2019, drove through same border on Xmas eve with 6 other Nigerians that I took on a road trip to Accra for the Afronation and still drove back through said border on 3rd Jan 2020 before my recent trip back to Accra last week Friday. 4 Likes |

I don't understand your question. But if you meant "will the person get to stamp passport?" Yes, so far your passport was stamped at Hilla Codji when you were entering into Togo, you must stamp as you exit Togo at Aflao and then stamp in as you enter Ghana. |

blackboifab:Lome is less than 5 minutes drive to Aflao (border between Togo and Ghana) when you get to the border, you will cross on foot to the Ghana side passing through immigration and customs post on both sides. Then you take a long walk to the STC inter-city bus park, buy a ticket to Accra for Ghc28, wait for the bus that will convey you to Accra, board when bus is available and then the almost 5hours drive to Accra begins. The bus will stop at the first custom check point at Dabala junction (they check for goods and weapons) all passengers will disembark for the check of luggages. Then the next and last stop is immigration and customs check point at Sogakope( they check for goods, weapons and passport and ID card of passengers). When you get to Accra, the driver will inform passengers to indicate where they intend to alight, if you are going to the bus park, then you will alight at Tudu. I think you will need to find your way to your final destination in Accra from there. CHEERS 1 Like |

Hillybankz:Boss, I was not told by anyone. I have seen tourist visas been issued to Nigerian passport holders at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Plaine Magnien live and direct before my very big eyes. By the way, the visa on arrival for Nigerian passport holders is a tourist visa and it's valid for 14days only. You can check the info below: 1 Like

ThinkWISELY:You are most welcome... By the way if your intended trip to the UAE during the Xmas is for travel history for subsequent planned trip to the west, I will advice you look towards Croatia, Czech Rep or Greece. Those countries are underrated for travel history but most Nigerians think cos they are European countries so getting a tourist visa will be difficult. If you submit genuine documents with good bank statement, the visa will be cool chop..... UAE entry stamp is no longer rated for travel history.... All the best boss 2 Likes |

izibili44:Well, I have been to Mauritius 3 times between 2012 - date (though on official capacity) and from my own point of view, anyone planning to go there strictly for hustling shouldn't expect to see a very vibrant and bustling country. You just confirm yourself that the wages is small giving account from the Nigerians you know working there. By the way, if your moniker is your surname, I might know you... Had a family friend bearing that name |
Travel / Re: Pls I Need To Know About Mauritius by gentlebullet(m): 7:22pm On Oct 13, 2019 |
izibili44:Boss, pls let us be honest to people seeking infos on this forum. Mauritius is an African tourist destination just like Seychelles, the island is small so the population is just a little over a million. The island is a tax haven so it's financial sector is thriving thanks to greedy people laundering their money there. If you must migrate there, you must be skilled, an IT expert or you have enough cash to startup a business since the country runs on an open economy( that is why there are lots of European small businesses there) Cost of living is very high, accommodation is expensive. For the records agencies are not sending Ghanaian passport holders to Mauritius to hustle, it's a visa free country for Ghanaian passport. Ghanaians visit the island for vacation and holidays and few to school via exchange program. The country is visa on arrival for Nigerian passport holders. You must have your hotel bookings and return ticket handy before you will be granted entry at POE. I repeat, Mauritius is not a hustling destination! All the best boss... 7 Likes 1 Share |

A friend(the one who hosted me at African Village hotel, Bakau) reliably told me this morning that you can get flight from Lagos to Banjul on Air Peace for about #125k(round trip) if you are traveling around 19th Dec upward. The flight is actually Dakar bound but will transit in Banjul before heading to Dakar so it's a good deal. You won't need to that long tiring road journey. I hope this helps 5 Likes |

babakb:If the egusi and pepper are in large quantity, then you need a transport coy to cargo for you. ABC transport, Chisco, Young shall grow, Efex, Cross country, GUO, etc can help you cargo your wares to Accra from Lagos. Do you have a market for them already in Ghana? But why dry pepper? There are lot of it in Ghana nau.... Well all the best boss |

ThinkWISELY: ThinkWISELY:Well from my little knowledge with traveling within the ECOWAS sub-region, these are my submissions: 1. Health vaccination card a.k.a yellow card is officially #2k and you can obtain it at the Port Health section, the yellow building at the toll gate before MMIA, ikeja. Just go with your passport and you will get the vaccines and the card within an hour or two depending on the time and day you go there. 2. With the present security situation in the east belt of the ecowas route through Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea it's not advisable to embark on a road trip plying that route. Even with detailed security escort on our convoy, we were attacked twice between Bobo D - Sikasso - Bamako few weeks ago whiles on official trip from Ouagadougou to Conakry. Besides, if you don't speak and understand French, it's not gonna be funny and it's a really long and tiring journey. If I were to plan a vacation to the Gambia as it stands now, it will be as follows: Find my way to Cotonou via either Seme or Idiroko border(make sure you stamp your passport) go to STC intercity park very close to the stadium in Cotonou and buy a Cotonou - Abidjan ticket.(STC intercity is a Ghanaian state owned transport coy, their service is good and the buses are very neat, new and comfortable luxurious buses) I am not sure of the ticket fare cos the 1st and last time I was on board, we traveled on complimentary tickets. Arriving in Abidjan, (probably next day around midday) I will go to the airport lookout for the next available flight to Dakar which will possibly be the next day.( there are mostly 2 flights daily to Dakar from Abidjan. Mauritania airways, Air Senegal and Air Cote d'voire are cheaper, last I flew was $406 round trip and the flight is 2 hours 45mins) I will get an hotel to relax for the day and then enjoy the Abidjan nightlife before jetting out the next day to Dakar. Arriving Dakar, I will head to Terminus Demm Dikk at Parcelle (this is the park for GTSC in Dakar. GTSC is a Gambian State owned transport coy) will purchase my ticket for the next day to Banjul(last time it was Cfa18000 and you pay for luggages I paid cfa1500 for my box) check into an hotel close-by and then do some sightseeing around town. Next morning, will be at the park to board bus( the trip to Banjul is close to 7hours) all passengers will disembark at Port le Karang for security check and passport stamping ( if you are a Nigerian passport holder, be ready be cough out as much as cfa 5000 before you will be stamped out by those Senegalese immigration) the drive will continue to Ferry port were the bus will cross to Banjul side(it takes less than 25mins) then within an hour the bus will get to GTSC park at Kanifing industrial Area and all passengers disembarks. There are lot of nice but expensive hotels and resorts in Banjul. I have stayed in woodpecker resort and Laico Atlantic hotel during my previous visits to Banjul. I once spent a night at African village hotel in Bakau( about 8miles from Banjul) courtesy of a friend. Kotu, Kololi and Bijilo are nice places too with lots of beach resorts As a tourist, things are quiet expensive there especially when you compare to Nigeria so make sure you hold cash wella, those foolish naija yahoo boys in Dakar don use money spoil the Gambia opekes with their showing off attitudes, so if dem dey bill you anyhow no be dere fault na your brothers cause am. Hope this helps though..... All the best boss 11 Likes 2 Shares |
