I think it depends on what the interviewer really meant.In my own case i answered exactly as u have written above,guess what, I ended up loosing the job.Subsequently i was told by an insider that i lost the job cos i responded contrarily._{diff strokes!}

Just as well you did not get the job, it is not good to get a job cos you promised to date the interviewer.  What if he/she takes you up on that?
It is a very tricky one but I would have answered; it depends on company policy and our mutual compatibility. I believe this is honest enough and upholds the company policy and my personal belief. 
If you say yes the guy/lady is happy but the other interviewers may be unhappy about it.

I have never been asked this question but I have been asked about my stance on colleagues dating eachother.  I did answer similar to the above that; it depends on company policy and if it does not affect their jobs it is fine.

Making a joke out of it is nice if the interviewers sound like they are all into the joke, otherwise you are on your own.

There are so many reasons to change jobs- Better working conditions (money, welfare, training etc); opportunities for growth; training/working with modern equipments; good company image; position you applied for etc.
Just state your reason but if it is money try and make it sound nice by adding other things. Most companies are skeptical about the staff that just joins them for finance reason because the likelihood of him/her leaving them as soon as another offer with higher pay comes is high.

You will probably be asked what you think the industry standard is? In your research prior the interview, find out what the company or other companies in same business and cadre are paying. So you can state the figure but remember to say you are open to negotiations. If one has work experience you should be able to state the figure you expect to receive.

Why not wait to hear what the guy has to say before jumping into conclusions. Also since he said 'your countenance' to his first call will determine if he ever calls you again; I suggest you state your displeasure clearly should he call you and allow everything to end there. Telling your friend may not be a good idea, at least not yet!
