If UBA bank is not the bank you wanted to use as your proof of funds, you can submit your 3 month payslips, employment letter and letter of introduction from your employer etc as your proof of employment

You just need to explain how you raised the funds in your Globus bank and back it up with proof and documents

Please I need your candid advise.

Form A messed me up so I couldn't meet the June 13 deadline to pay the balance of first semester school fees, then immediately came the Naira floating cum devaluation. I have a friend in Canada also schooling in Conestoga who told me to relax that the payment can even be made close to resumption, that the school will enrol me regardless when they receive it but he asked I send an email to the school to let them know about the delay.

I sent an email to the school July 4, a reply was sent yesterday 18th July. They've reaffirmed my friends initial assurance to me and said so far I have paid the tuition deposit of 1500 CAD that my space remains reserved but warned that I must ensure I pay it before traveling as VO at arrival airport in Canada will not approve my entry.

I submitted my visa application on the 8th of July, biometrics booked for 13th July. I got medical request on the 14th of July. I did upfront medical on the 13th of July same day I did biometrics,. had to do the two same day to save cost of traveling twice to Abuja from Port Harcourt.

Medical result was sent to my email July 17th, I uploaded it via webform immediately to my application. This is the present state of my application, no medical passed update yet.


Now to the main issue:;
My worry now is that I might be refused visa because I'm yet to pay first semester school fees and it was stated that my offer expires if by the 13th of June the balance of first semester is not received.

My fear is that I might be refused approval at this stage if attention is paid to it by the issuing officer. note, I have my generated form A uploaded but there is no uploaded evidence from school of successful receiving my payment.

I have been thinking, should I quickly make the payment and upload it via webform to my application or relax and wait for visa decision?

Please I would like to hear of your opinions if this would affect my visa final approval decision or will not. some persons have said it will not because if I don't pay there is no way I can enter the country, the exact same warning from the school in their email reply.
note, my offer has no condition of acceptance

Will this be an issue with the final visa issuing officer or it is not a serious concern, Is the deposit enough for the officer opinions very much appreciated 🙏🙏

No you can't be refused because that's school requirements but if you can afford to pay more no problem.

Do you mean is applicable to all kids below 15 years that didn't do biometrics to pay transmission fee for passport submission? Even if their parents submit where they do their biometrics.

Boss, you will pay the transmission fee for the kids - N16,540 each.
You and Madam will not pay that.
When paying the transmission fee, pay it individually so you can print the receipts and attach it to a particular kid documents.
- PPR letter for each of you.
- Passport photocopies for each of you.
- Biometric slips for yourself and Madam.
- Consent form signed by Madam for each passport since she is the main applicant.

IOM finally booked me for appointment for earliest date 30 July 2023,

I have already make a payment of 46,500 yesterday when I went to their office to complained, now I saw payment instruction that I should use my UCI # as my reference when making payment.

Well I have made the payment before gotten payment instruction.

Relax dafuturis, Conestoga only requested for $1,500 as tuition deposit and it's shows in your LOA also the deadline for your first semester fees.

I'm also going to Conestoga Brantford campus and already requested for my medical but no luck to book for my medical yet.

BVL sent when decision as made on your application, and follow by visa number on the tracker if your application is approved.

Yes you can spend it since you have printed out your bank statement and submitted your application.
BVL is IRCC responce email; they will send biometric verification letter when they start to process your application. Visa number is issued when your application is approved. Visa no start with 'e'.

I scanned our passport and filled declarion form( where you’ll be asked if you have more than CAD10,000 or fish, chicken and all that)
Then I got a print out to take to the next stage

There’s another queue( don’t know what that is) the person didn’t really ask any question, she was just playing with my baby


Questions asked at immigration :
1. asked for my documents
2. Which company : I told him it’s SOWP
3. Which school is my husband in?
4. Which course?
5. His address. I wasn’t sure he asked me to check which I did

Then he asked me to sit for a while. He called me to pick up my permit with my daughter’s about 15-20 minutes later.

Then I went to pick up my luggages and that’s all

No, I applied for visitor visa since 2021 and I just collected my passport after visa stamping on 30th June. But I have applied for school before my visitor visa was approved.

I think IRCC had issue on their tracker the way people do complained this time.

I submitted my application on June 22, 2023, without biometrics because i recently gotten my visitor visa, and since then background check in progress while eligibility not started, to my surprised I gotten medical request few hours ago but not yet update on my tracker.

My GCKEY account updated to medical request and when I'm trying to book for medical appointment the IOM website is acting funny when I'm about to generate my reference number before is started showing image attached below!!!!!

Well I have email the IOM to help me book appointment, the available date I saw on thier website is 17 July which I wish IOM should book me for the appointment.

Even thou I’ve made my research on flagpole before we even applied for my wife’s study visa, it still didn’t prepared me for the stressed we went through (she followed me for the whole process, I felt for her )

I flagpole on the rainbow bridge (3hrs from my place) in Niagara Falls, I was aware you’ve to get there very early bcox Dey answer only 10 ppl daily n it’s not a 24/7 border, flagploing starts 8am.

We got to Niagara on Monday evening, stayed Airbnb n left for the bridge Tuesday morning around 5am. I got to the bridge n was number 18, i heard someone said he came 1am, aaaaah. I felt they’ll answer everyone bcox to me the queue wasn’t that much. I walked to the USA side to flagpole n came back to Canada side to complete the process by 8am. When it was time Naso cbsa officer handled a yellow paper to 10 ppl and told the others to check other borders or check back tomorrow, it was then my eyes cleared.

My wife suggested we should sleep der, that’s d only way we can be guaranteed of an early spot the next day. 10pm we went back to the bridge with two other Nigerians we met. We slept at the bridge from 10pm-8am, d cold was insane, again you can’t leave the bridge, once you enter you’ve to go back to flagpole at usa border. It was a pleasant experience at all, I felt like a refugee 😭😭😭

Finally 8am came n I was the first in line, the whole process took less than 10mins. The officer asked for my wife’s study permit, our marriage certificate and asked my job in naija, he even read the purpose of travel I wrote in my application. My work permit was issue for the duration my wife’s study permit is valid.

I did medical in Nigeria, the officer said that doesn’t count, I will need updated one. So my permit has restrictions, can’t work in strip club, Agriculture occupation and childcare/health service field.

If you’re flagpoling in border that opens 24/7, it will be more convenient. You can go anytime n will be attended to. My eyes is still heavy after 3hrs+ sleep
