Nice write up bro

Bobomaigida:

I think the VO is leveraging on your job which you might have pushed its significance very much during her application. I will suggest you put your response in an emotional way to explain that your the family being apart will be detrimental to your wellbeing, that you had thought that the time apart will not cause problems, but you have realized that it a source of concern.

For the second part I will suggest you state that the wellbeing and happiness of your family is paramount to you and since you have the POF to take care yourselves already, then leaving the job in UK was not difficult, and that staying to do the job in UK without being happy will not help you, and that coming to Canada to work temporarily will be more fulfilling since you will be around your loved ones.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Gentlesoul3268: 10:56am On Jul 26, 2023
Not that officer dey discouraged you from moving there from the UK,

I sense that the officer imagine that why do you want to leave your job (highly skilled) in the UK and move to Canada and begin to search for a job while you already had a job doing in the UK?

What you suppose to apply for is a visitor visa, so it will look as if you would be visiting your wife not moving there through (SOWP)

You can flagpole with your visitor visa to SOWP I did mean you have knew this before.

You need to write a convincing letter bro.

nnamdi346:
My people, got this from IRCC yesterday. Anyone been asked these type of questions?

Also, is the Canadian job market that bad, this one wey visa officer dey discourage me from moving there from the U.K

Context: My spouse has been granted her study visa. She told them that I and our daughter were not going with her, just for ties. I have now applied for my SOWP and her VV, and they sent me these two big questions.... grin grin grin cheesy cheesy

Better you sort IRCC payment first and submit your application, later and try to retrieve your Uba money back

Duhreen:

Omo I don’t even know what to do because they are insisting it has gone from their end.

Please is there any ircc number I can call as regards to this or what?

Not only UBA the card I'm using that time is GTBANK , the IRCC payment portal showing something 3D so most time our domiciliary dollar card can't make the payment .

It's like something is wrong with Uba

You need to pay through virtual dollar card you can use (Payday)

Happened to me when I wanted to make a payment, and what I did is that i use naira to buy dollar on my Payday virtual dollar card to make the payment with seamless

Duhreen:
Hello everyone,
Please I made my study permit application this evening with my UBA dollar card. After inputting my card details,I saw a message on the site, saying payment would be verified after 24hours. After a while I logged back into my account just to be sure and my application still hasn’t submitted and it’s even saying “not submitted to ircc”. I tried paying with my card again and it kept saying “transaction declined” like 3x.

so I decided to stop and call UBA customer service to understand what’s happening. The customer care rep I spoke with told me the transaction went through from their end and that I should contact the body I made the payment to. Please I don’t know what to do about it at this point.
All suggestions would be appreciated please. Thank you.

This is my little insight phamoxy,

1 How much do you earn as income to accumulated 17m plus as your opening balance ?

2. You said your opening balance is 17m and the closing balance is 19m + from the gcm note you attached, how many month bank statement do you submitted? Because is just 2m+ income added to the opening balance of 17m+ that making your closing balance 19m+

3. What is your income and how many months bank statement do you submitted? Because if you read your note very well they said there is limited evidence pertaining to the source on stated funds ?

If you can provide like 1 yrs bank statement to justify how you accumulated 17m as your opening balance? Do you used this bank account to received lumps sum money from sales of any properties or whatever?

4. The 2m + that added with your opening balance to make your closing balance of 19m+ as justify from your income to determine if 17m+ is acquired from your income?

Solution I will suggest is that you should present 1 yrs or more to proof how you raised the 17m+ as your opening balance, if there's any payments that accumulated the funds in your account you need to show the proof with documents to back it up .

Your payslips can only justify if your income within period you added 2m+ that making your closing balance of 19m+ corelate with your earning,

For example if you are earning 500k monthly in 4 month that would be 2m, meaning that you submitted only 4 month bank statement with opening balance of 17m+?

Or let say you are earning less than 500k how do you accumulated 17m+ with income less than 500k monthly ?

Note: They believe you will have a monthly expenses and what left after your monthly expenditures?

Please you need to work on your bank statement to see if there's any lumps sum in your account, and try to explain if there's any lumps sum with evidence.

Phamoxy:

Opening Balance was 17m plus, I included employment letter and promotion letters, reference letter from work, study leave, first semester payment receipt, but I didn't include payslip, but I intend to include it in the new application now.
Should I still add to the POF considering the recent exchange rate or I use the previous one and just add documents to show how the forms were accumulated?

It's cool but make sure you write the sponsorship letter separately for each all of them not like how you combine all the applicant together.

I need advice on my situation. I got passport for my family of 3 and we dispatched to VFS. Now my wife and my own passport is ready for collection but my son own has not been worked on since. I decided to track it on the tracker this morning and noticed that there is no VISA number for him yet and the last update done on the tracker was on the 18th of July. What could have happened to cause this and why his own VISA is yet to be issued.?

Available slot for the course you choose is May 2024 and you asking if possible to travel by September 2023 ?

Lol Don't dam try it

Xixteen11:
Hello everyone,
Good afternoon, please I’d need your honest opinion on this.
Fanshawe college is giving a deadline for filling the ISF form to be august 8 which in the form, you’d need to provide passport request and alsofill your arrival date and flight details , failure to do that means automatic defer and I’m yet to get response from IRCC. So I’m asking is it advisable for me to change course as the next available slot for the course I chose is May 2024. So I want to know if it’s possible to travel by September if I get a response before then and go to the school in person to change my course to another available course for January?

Amen, Congratulations !!!!

Thank you Jesus
It's PPR for a family of 3
2 study visa and one SOWP

I want to appreciate everyone on this platform for Thier contributions. I used an agent for my application but I learnt a lot from this platform which really helped me.

Application date -31st of May 2023
PPR for parents - 14/07/2023
PPR for child. - 21/07/2023
We did upfront medicals but we still got medical requests. We sent the results to them again via webform

PPR for child was delayed because we submitted with his old passport that was supposed to expire by August, after submission the new passport came out and IRCC requested for his new passport which we later sent.

Thank you everyone for your contributions.
Wishing everyone who is expecting PPR a huge success.

You can submit that no problem or better still find a lawyer to help you do deed of agreement and affix his Nigeria bar association law sticker, sign and stamp then submit it along with your land agreement.

In all commit everything to God hand
