7. Connection of waste to soakaway pit and supply of water in the house.

You are correct with the information given.
But if you look at the list you will noticed that what the plumber is trying to say there is TECHNOGREEN pipe ( there is a product tagged IPS on there ppr pipe).
So the plumber doesn't mean galvanized pipe according to his list.
So he using the pipe for both HOT and COLD water line for the work which is very correct

IPS means iron piping size, it means the pipe he wants to use has same size in term of thickness or diameter (OD) compared with galvanized pipe.

IPS pipe are use for special project, ordinary running of cold water for house, PVC is a sure bet. I use or advice the use of IPS pipe for agricultural project all this irrigation stuff...

Please i received what I think is an outrageous estimated cost for plumbing ( just piping) for my 3 bedroom bungalow.... It has 4 toilets ( 3 masters / 1 visitor), a Laundry and kitchen, all with hot running water . Material used is IPS. Please how is it different from PCV? I'm tired

IPS stand for iron pipe size
PVC polyvinyl chloride pipe
the term IPS is use to describe a PVC pipe that has same thickness with iron pipes use for plumbing.
IPS pipe because of it thickness, flexibility and resistant to damage, give it an edge over PVC ie normal pipe, but for a residential house PVC is good you can use IPS for running the hot water system.

I wnt to build a soakaway I.e d normal soakaway whereby blocks will b laid inside and casted wit cement den covered, but an old woman who sells blocks to me was advising me dat d best n cheapest method of building soakaway currently is by digging it in d form of well not too deep tho (I.e where we draw water) n put ring in it, no need to caste underneath it so to enable d faeces dry up n liquid from d faeces or urine or when we flush d toilet will escape thru d gap btw d rings.

I will advise you to do the normal soakaway, constructing a ring form soakaway with uncemented surface can lead to the waste water(leachate) infiltrating into the subsurface layer contaminating bore within that terrian especially if the subsurface is underlaid by a permeable material.
if you have money do better soakaway, if no enough money, if it a dry land, with imperme able material like clay that is underlying the subsurface you can.
if you decide to use the last option also consider the issue of diffusion, make there are enough vent, to avoid smell that drive visitors.
also allow it to be deep also because faeces decay into Sandy particles only the water that infiltrate, so if shallow can get full on time depending on the numbers of persons using it.

for your plumbing work don't forget to ring my line, available in all locations except north for now

The materials were purchased by me so the process are genuine.

that what I am trying to tell the guy, when work start the plumbing he will tell him he forgot to add this and that, because the list no complete.

the quotation doesn't cover all of that.
at least there is supposed to be 2inches pipe and 4inches pipe
for modern house I will advise you do conduits piping it gives beauty to the house

external piping is different.

the prices are ok, but the list doesn't appear complete, when you say internal plumbing, you know it deals with laying of inside the wall.
if you will later do surface piping outside the walls of the house i.e. everything isn't conduit piping, it means you might need to add little material to the proposed items because I can't see or there are little of the following

2 inches piping ( for flood drain, kitchen sink, washing hand basin etc also bathtub if you are going to fix)
4 inches pipe for the toilet

another question is it hot and cold water system piping?

if there isn't going to be any surface piping, it means you need to buy more stuff.

thanks for the compliment, I lost my phone recently, just got a new one, I have only done few repairs/maintenance jobs, with one foundation conduits piping ( had to carry that out to get the best of the job, n avoid breaking of concrete floor).
