If you hate voice note, it's your issue not theirs.

Nobody hates VN as much as I do and I cringe whenever I receive one - but I know it's my issue and not the issue of the sender. The way you hate listening to voice note is the way someone else hates typing. You expect them to displease themselves to please you? And typing is usually more tedious and time wasting. What if they're very busy?

And those saying they should have called - y'all are too unreasonable and ridiculous. You hate voice notes and like calls? Calls are usually more intrusive and disruptive.

Work on yourself guys like I did. When I receive one, I don't judge the sender for sending one. It's my prerogative to either reply with texts, calls, VN or simply ignore. A lot of the times I don't even listen to the notes.

The same guy complaining of voice notes

Will be the same guy looking for audiobook of their favourite author

Because the actual book too long to dey read

Problem is not the voice note but the communication skills of the person making them.

I took my time to type a reasonable message to you and all of a sudden you are sending VN to me, do you know if I am in an appropriate place to listen to your frog voice and respond? It just seem selfish and unreasonable.

I normally let the person know about the inappropriateness, but if the person continues; I reply whenever I can.

Your problem is not the voice note

Your problem is you don't like the way the person's voice sounds

Do yourself a favour, record yourself and send a voice note to yourself

If it sounds like a 'frog' voice, it means you have the same problem you are complaining of and if it sounds good, then it means you understand communication skills well

I'd advise anyone whose voice sounds broken on voice notes to take a course on communication; follow Vinh Giang on YouTube and take his course

In Yoruba parlance it is a common saying that oju to ma bani kale, kin taro wapin. True to ourselves, this government had not show any sign that they are going into heavy production. They only rely on Dangote for survival. How would a country put her destiny in the hand of a sole proprietor? Only Nigeria. It makes no sense at all.
I have applied the common sense, this is almost a year and those in government has not shown a pint of sense that they are going into production to help the economy. Patching the process won't help at all. If we like, we should continue in the same ways we were before, we will still get the same results.
Aside the governor of Niger state that has shown sign of going into production, the rest are sleeping, including the presidency.
My brother, these people are not ready to do the needful, they are sleeping and snoring and we expect wonders from them. This is no rocket science o.

The governors are the biggest problem of Nigeria

If all of them are serious and create good environment for production of food in their areas, price of food will drop

Why should Abia state be importing yam from Benue state or Taraba state?

Every state should provide enabling environment for farmers and good security network

That way, price of diesel will not be a heavy influencing factor in food price.

"Propaganda does not deceive the people; it merely helps the APC, Tinubu, those working with him, his apologist to continue to deceive themselves."

@stola,

Every Nigerian wants a strong naira

No Nigerian wants to lose money in their business

Reducing value of dollar exchange rate whilst price of goods remains high is a lose-lose situation

In construction of houses, contracts are priced in dollars and in naira. The dollar cost is to compensate for the unrealistic inflation of building materials that will occur during construction of the project.

With the artificial increase in naira value against the dollar and increase in building materials side-by-side, it is impossible for many construction projects to go on smoothly without the engineer incurring a loss or the owner of the project abandoning it.

This reality plays out in many other industries.

Importers who bought goods at 1,700 naira are having difficulty offloading those goods and have to take loans at higher interest rate to buy new stock.

This is basic economics. Nobody wins with this voodoonomics.

Better for them to focus on eliminating factors leading to high prices of goods before tackling the dollar issue.

I know the Lagos Indian Language School at Ilupeju where Indians send their kids. There is a reason it is called INDIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL and not Indian School because the kids are taught in Indian language.

I hope you know the school was created to cater to the needs of the kids of the Indian community at Ilupeju? I hope you know the language of instruction there is not in English language?

They created that school to imbibe the Indian culture in their kids that were born here and lived all their lives here so they still have that touch with their home base: INDIA

It's not everything we should complain about and run to social media without doing any credible research. All this because data is so cheap these days, smh undecided

Thank you for your contribution

Instead of complaining, we should be thinking of ways to imbibe similar culture

We lose most of our kids to western culture

How many kids born in USA desire to visit or even open businesses in Nigeria?

Compare this to the Indians and Chinese.

Lesson 3: Change your Relationship with Money

Many people say things like they wish they were rich or they were born into a rich family

Do not fall into the trap of comparing your life with celebrities and internet influencers, you will only end up depressed

Understand this ,

Money is important

But wisdom, hardwork and persuasion skills are 10x more important

A rich man can go bankrupt and come back even richer

But a broke man who wins a lottery who goes broke will die a broke and scared man

Focus on improving your persuasion skills and your knowledge base, and your money problem will disappear.

Lesson 4: Eliminating the Key triggers of Gambling Addiction

The first 30 days are key to ending any addiction

As a broke guy, you are gambling with the hope to find fame, fortune and improve your social status

However, the only way to get these things is to improve your persuasion skills, and your ability to sell a service or product

Nothing else will work, understand this and reprogram your mind accordingly

If you are the type to go to betting shops to bet, avoid entering there , even if you have friends that work there

The reason you are entering there sometimes, is because, you want to feel desired amongst your peers in the area.

Again, the only way to feel desired is to achieve something of value by improving your persuasion skills and ability to sell a service or product

Avoid going to the betting shop and delete all betting links from your web browser.

Lesson 2: Change the way you speak and your mentality

Once you understand why you can never make money from gambling unless you do the needful, the next thing to do is to delete some words you use in your vocabulary

Delete the word 'should' completely from your dictionary

Understand this:

Before you complain of the problems causing you to gamble, think of the people who don't have food to eat or those who are homeless in Nigeria or the disabled guy you see everyday on your street?

Your problems are not bigger than these people.

So, stop complaining and using words like I should be a millionaire if i played this game, or If only this had happened or it is a long journey ahead

All these words , 'should', 'if'. 'long journey' - these are all defeatist words which will serve you no purpose

You cannot change the past no matter how long you think about it. Thinking too much about it will only give you depression.

Focus only on maximising the opportunity in front of you each day. Anything else is a waste of mental energy.

I agree to an extent that the power of community is very important. Since humans are social creatures, feeling connected to others can absolutely do wonders for our mental health. But is that the sole purpose of church? Can't you find a similar sense of community elsewhere? At the office, in a classroom, with volunteer organizations etc. Don't get me wrong, communal prayer and worship have their place, but it shouldn't be the only option on the menu for spiritual well-being.

Finding a sense of community elsewhere is not an option for some people

However, in terms of spiritual wellbeing, there is nothing worse than being a part of a clique of church goers

The Church is a reflection of society and if society is filled with corrupt and terrible people

By extension, it is clear that the Church will be filled with corrupt and terrible people

Going to Church, for some of us, is just to see human presence.

The real way to improve spiritual wellbeing is to work on your activities towards others by showing them necessary love and empathy.

Before you grab your pitchforks, I want to make my intentions clear. First and foremost, I'm not creating this topic to mock or ridicule anybody's faith. And if you're going to take offense to any of the things I'm about to say in this post, then perhaps you should consider the possibility that it's because my words might have grazed upon a truth you haven't fully examined. We shouldn't confuse offense with introspection, or discomfort for disrespect. Consider my comments not as barbs, but as invitations to a deeper exploration of your own beliefs.

Of all the various forms in which Christianity manifests, few are as culturally dominant as Pentecostalism. For cynical observers such as myself, this movement, heavily characterized by its' ecstatic outbursts during worship, as well as its' fire and brimstone sermons and prayer sessions, often resembles a theatrical production. Although, I do understand that many might find solace in the movement's emotional fervor. Anyways, let's talk about the Pentecostal belief. What's the cornerstone of this movement? It's the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This mystical experience, often accompanied by speaking in tongues (glossolalia to the theologically inclined), is considered the ultimate religious power-up. It's like getting some divine update that grants fluency in a language only the angels and other hosts of heaven can understand. The problem is, many linguistics worth their salt have dissected these utterances, and more often than not, they bear a striking resemblance to… well, gibberish. In fact, let's even accept the tiny probability that there might be some phonetic similarities to known languages. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's fluent. It's far more likely glossolalia is a product of our remarkable brains' ability to generate novel speech patterns under heightened emotional states (Occam's Razor). How do we seriously differentiate between a genuine spiritual experience and an overactive amygdala?

But I've said enough about tongues. Let's talk about the disturbing emphasis on public displays of piety. Whether it's swaying like a willow in a hurricane during worship or bellowing declarations of faith until your voice cracks, Pentecostalism thrives on outward expressions of devotion. One can't help but wonder if this is about genuine spiritual connection or putting on a show for the divine audience, and more importantly, the congregation who might loosen their purse strings a little wider for tithes to drop. Now, I'm all for supporting your local house of worship, but Pentecostalism often takes it to a whole new level. The prosperity gospel, a staple of many Pentecostal denominations, suggests a direct correlation between piety and financial blessings. Basically, the gist is that if you can donate generously, God will shower you with earthly riches. Sounds like a convenient theology for televangelists with private jets and a taste for the finer things in life.

Oh, and what's the deal with forcing people to go to church? Isn't a genuine connection with the divine a more personal experience, one that transcends the four walls of a church and doesn't require a weekly attendance check?

Honestly, I wonder if Christians have ever stopped to take a break from rapping in tongues like they're Busta Rhymes, and dancing wantonly in the church aisles to really evaluate what they believe in. I wonder if they have ever taken a moment to ponder on the true nature of their faith. Is it about outward displays and material gain, or is it something deeper, a connection that transcends the public performance?

Going to church is good

When you see other people and connect genuinely with them, some forms of depression can disappear

My issues with pentecostals is this ..

This speaking in tongues, that they do makes no discerning sense to an outsider, and neither do the people in the church understand it.

At least, during the time of Paul, outsiders could look and say hey these apostles are speaking my language.

I have asked them, if they walk into a room with red curtain and hear someone chanting the stuff they say, will they run or stay?

Sometimes I wonder if these tongues are not incantations.

My reason for this suspicion is a good number of men of God these days belonged to secret cults , repented and became men of God.

How are we to know if they truly abandoned their evil ways behind?

don't even think of changing your strategy coz it is still working. you only need to learn when to stay out of the market.. bad market condition is a respecter of no strategy. just take a look at what Gold and us30 have being doing this past week.. it's very easy to lose your account trying to trade that market condition..

the problem with us traders is that we are always focus on entries and backtesting strategies while we completely ignore learning "How to spot and stay out of bad market condition until the tides goes down"

I think this is the biggest difference between we and profitable trader like Gabsonfx2

Bad market condition is this,

Market in downtrend and hits low of previous month and ranges for six days

Trying to sell in a haste at key level within that range doesn't end well.

Example of this is Eurgbp chart since January this year on 4h chart

Honestly speaking, I have recently come on contact with seriously gorgeous and beautiful ladies from Ghana.

They also tend to be natural without excessive makeup.

At this point, I can say Ghanaian babes are more beautiful and Natural than Nigeria girls.

If I show you picture eh, you go begin to praise and worship.

I am totally convinced at this point.

They are natural with all the right curves, simple, no unnecessary shakara, humble and down to earth and dem no carry religion for head like gala.

These are my criterias

1. Natural beauty with natural curves
2. Less make up and artificial enhancers.
3. Direct and straightforward with less complication.
4. Less pretense. Pretend to be holy but nack the most
5. Less religious
6. Less lies
7. Less complications

Honestly speaking, I am sold at this point.

Most Ghanaian girls are not fine, few exceptions do exist Sha.

They have amazing shape and that is it

As for the other things you mentioned, all of that is subjective and dependent on the perceived value of the man to the lady
