We are literally cruising in all 4 competitions we are playing in this season.

In the last few days we've played 4 away games at Portsmouth, Chelsea, Nottingham and Inter Milan stadiums across different competitions. Somehow we've managed to come out with 3 wins and 1 draw.

Love him or hate him, Arsenal under Arteta this season is actually doing well and above his peers..

Ad much as the recent EPL results were disappointing, we should also acknowledge the fact that we've conceded the least goal in the EPL which means our defence is working 24/7. We just need our attack to score as much as they can and the last 16 games of the EPL will see us lifting the trophy. 🥰

we play so well in ucl because teams don't sit back like epl teams do. If we can get 13 wins out of the remaining 16 and the match against City being one of them, then the league is sure. At this point I think we can only afford to lose a game and draw one too, anything outside that might jeopardise our league challenge.
Ps: that ball from Martinelli to Gyokeres, damn!!!!.

we went from 2 points gap to 7 points gap even though it could have been 11 points in the space of three weeks. So I am taking the positives and waiting to see how our final third output will change moving forward.

The reason we didn't win this match and Loserpool match is our inability to be clinical in front of goal. It's matches like this that made fans call for signing of an Out and out striker to help us out in games like this one when the opponents make it difficult for us to penetrate their defence.

Unfortunately, the striker we signed has not been able to help us out of these situations. We had chances to win yesterday's match, we just didn't take our chances. Gyokeres was gifted a run at goal from Forrest defender's mistake but his pace wasn't enough ; he was caught up with and couldn't convert the chance. Martinelli also had a chance to play the ball into the net but played across face of goal.

We can all blame Arteta all day for the team failing to take maximum advantage of City's slip yesterday but we should also be sincere enough to admit some of our players didn't rise up to the occasion.


I believe Rice saying whatever he was caught on camera saying is due to him seeing his fellow players not rising to the ocassion when they need to. If I was Rice I would also be frustrated seeing Gyokeres not doing enough to score that chance, I will be pissed as well seeing Martinelli playing the ball across face of goal when we should be Celebrating a lead.

What I don't understand is if a section of the fans will keep lamenting about this result till the next match day cos to me that's not a good way of enjoying a club one claims to support at all.

Rice complaints about shit game clearly shows his frustration towards they players inability to finish chances but somehow it has been translated to Arteta fucvking up. Whole first half we generated enough chances to score but didn't even had one shot on target. I think the first shot on target was from Rice(if I am not mistaken), a midfielder playing the first shot on target in the 2nd half while we have forward players ooo. It's easy to blame who we want to blame. I can choose to blame the assistant coach and back it up with his issue with Rice the previous match. Na so the thing be oo

bro, do you remember it was games like this that made the whole media and fans call out for signing of a striker. The problem is not creativity, the problem is clinicality. 15 shots and only 3 on target, 9 corner kicks, expected goals 2.10, 75% passes into the final third, 36 touches in opposition box of which 14 were shot but only 2 was on target. We lacked clinicality last night and selz was also good. No body is talking about that run by Gyokeres that should have ended in goal, at least I've seen kai score that kind of goal twice, with defenders on him and making a long run with the ball. Crosses came in the box but no one was there to finish up. Martinelli missing a sitter, white shooting to the skies, Madueke trying to dribble his ancestors. They problem is clinicality and that is on the players who played. But then, what do I know.

See na the team as a whole no turn up. Against Loserpool I was asking what was Arteta supposed to do in that match that he didn't do, nobody could come up with anything tangible to say. It was obvious the team just didn't take their chances.

The same thing happened to do. People are only tagging today's result to Saka and Trossard not starting. More like fans just need something to point at as reason why we didn't win.

you forgot Liverpool draw was because Zubimendi didn't turn up. Don't forget too soon. We tend to blame who we want to blame and you can't do nothing about it.

If we can't start Madueke and Martinelli against Forrest, then which team are they fit to play against? Is it Man city? Chelsea or Loserpool?

the should be playing only carabao cup, but unfortunately we are in semi final, so the best is to leave them on the bench till season ends, and then blame the coach for running our first team to the mud and ruins. Saka having a niggle before the match makes it understandable why madueke had to start, but, no it would have been better if he started, and with the triple marking he got when he came in, probably get a knock and we blame the coach for starting him. Shebi I asked if it was the two wingers that played 45 minutes made us draw?. Same Arsenal that played Athletico Madrid first half like shit and turned the game in the second half to get 4 goals, played not so good half time against Bayern and turned up in the second half, Same with city game, Newcastle game. if we can't play both wingers against a team who has only won one of their last five games and 17th on the table, which other match we fit play them in epl?, abi na only lower cup ties they signed to play?. we're still 7 points clear against our main rival, so i am still hopeful. If we can maintain a nice run of at least 5 or 6 wins, I know surely city would still drop points.

finishing 1st-4th gives you a better advantage of playing weekend teams. In as much as we have a hard game next week, the match against interview is still important and not a dead rubber game.

Optimist will say 1 point gained, but realist will say 2 points dropped. Failing to win the two times our direct rivals dropped points is so bad!!. This was the reason we couldn't catch up with Liverpool last season, now it is gradually repeating. Anyways, I try to take positives from the fact thay the two draws were against teams we also drew with last season. If we can go on a winning rin against the next 5 teams just as we did last season, it will be a very good opportunity.

Trossard should have started today, that's my opinion. Martinelli is better in ucl cus teams don't usually play low blocks like epl teams in ucl and that gives him space to attack. But overall, the team performance was not good. S/o to sells abi wetin be him name, he made some good saves to deny us goals. Arteta failing to utilise man city's double drop in points is enough reason for any one to get angry. Should Aston villa win tomorrow, it will be 4 points gap. God abeg ooo.
