Why Crystal Palace go sack Viera today na?? embarassed

This new coach syndrome dey always fear me. Na so Everton do go collect 3 points for our head
swears!. na when i read about viera sacking that yesterday's lost start to the pain me more. arteta clearly underestimated sporting in both fixtures, which scares me when i remember we still have relegation teams to play in epl.

arteta 1 : media, press and opponent 0.

they probably had in mind how to cage martinelli up front, then boom!! arteta pulled trossard.

we've talked too much about resting our star boy, but i have a quick question.
would you advise arteta to rest saka on thursday against sporting?, would you trust nelson on that wing if nketiah doesn't come up?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 2:35pm On Mar 11, 2023
67 consecutive league games for a 21 year old, saka strong no be lie. na only spurs keeper tolotoloris that have played more straight games than saka in the whole epl.

On the contrary. It will make him even better. He will still train but be on the bench. The rest Pep gave Haaland, Kdb, Mahrez, Grealish have paid off. The energy levels of KdB alone increased. Commentators acknowledged that. BurnOut in itself is a slow down worse than this rest idea.
resting your best players can help them reload and come out better. even martinelli admitted than the rest against leicester was good for him.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 4:51pm On Mar 10, 2023
nketiah out, trossard out, odegard out. seriously i'm scared, i love veira but can he up his game against a fullham physical team?, will ESR10 drop to 8 or to the wing?, martinelli up front didn't click for me on thursday, i trust saliba and gabriel at the back. it's just the no.8, no.11 and no.9 position that worries me about sunday. i hope two of the three first team players recover ahead of sunday.

ps: no body said nothing about jakub performance yesterday.

i can never vote this man, all his interviews and manifesto are trash to me. the only competent candidate is the ypp guy, he looks like someone who knows what he's doing. but i'm scared that "ndi ellu p" would blindly vote alex otti cus of peter obi.

i thought the liverpool game should be in april?, why are we talking about it like it's our next match?, just because they trashed utd.
man utd under "10hang" is all about counter attacking and fast transition which in reality liverpool is a master in, coupled with liverpool die hard pressing they(utd) stood no chance especially during the second half.
man utd and arsenal are two diff teams with diff type of football pattern, so why should be worry "too much" about who would pocket sallah when we played the first leg with no notable left back and still had him in check. arteta is a tactician and surely he would come up with something when the time comes.

So because some of us have different opinions about our results and expectation we have become ranters and promote toxicity on this thread?

I don’t get some of you though, I truly don’t.
some of us here acts like they are always waiting for the day we will loose point to vent their frustration, going from logical and facture criticism to theoritical criticism. i don't even what to talk about dem pessimist we full there.

We won today, so I hope the toxicity won't be much on this space for sometime. I seriously hate seeing and reading the wails and rants.

As it is now...let's just play a back 3 of Holding, Saliba and Gabriel.... Kiwior, Partey, Tierney and Tomi in Midfield.... OdeSaka and Trossard in attack. Let's defend for our life tomorrow. We need to protect that 3 points for some time at least. grin grin

Sean D thought through and knew that by blocking off our wingers he will stiffle our game. He came with three DMs and use one on either side to double up on the wingers so they have the task of beating two men at the same time to have a go. The simple solution for Arteta was to employ attacking fullbacks. Send in Tierney and Tomi to create more width and pull out their defense away from the centre.

We lost tactically.
COACH!! we lost todays game hopely we will win our next game.

Nonsense!

Lokonga was Arteta's signing.

Willian Was Arteta's signing.

Pablo Mari was Arteta's signing as well.

If u think Arteta is incapable of making rubbish signings, just dey play!
was Mari that bad?, awilo na more of mentality issues than anything else which is why he clearly needed to go on loan, and willian?, well that's why he was pushed on before we even realized it. simple and short story bro. lets take the news with a pinch of salt and see what jorginho and the coaches have to offer.
shalom and happy new month.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 8:20am On Feb 01, 2023
when you guys are tired of talking about jorginho and his flaws una go rest. the club, director and coach identified jorginho as a better temporary backup to partey instead of depending on awilo or paying that huge amount for a rockie knowing fully well that we are going for rice in the summer, gave him a contract that shows what they intend with him, so what is actually the wails all about, yes we all know jorginho de mumu but so was xhaka, una de talk like say there's nothing good about him.
i've seen the best from jorginho and i just pray arteta can help bring it back. all these noise reminds me of odegard and that maddison saga, where we all were screaming no! no! but look who's bossing it day in day out. oga he don come be say he don come, all we can do is support him and the club.

ps=he's an arteta signing.

The fact we lacked options in attack to change the dynamics of the game was embarrassing to watch. We played the same team from midfield to attack for fûckin 90 mins, trying to do the same thing.
only marquinhos and vierra were the notable forwards on the bench, and the fact that those in the field of play are much more better than them makes it even hard for you to sub them in. with the way that martinelli was off althrough the match, if we had another good winger he wouldn't have finished the match.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 7:24am On Jan 01, 2023
POTY: non other than the lil chilli SAKA.
YPOTY: marquinhos has not been up there for me and i don't want to go for players on loan so i would gladly say MARTINELLI.
MIPOTY: even the blind now loves XHAKA.
BEST GOAL:ahh!! alot of beautiful goals but i'm going with G.jesus goal against leicester.
BEST MATCH: liverpool!!!!. menh!!, that match was more than just about 3 points, it was about breaking free from a curse, bondage that have held you down for so long.
for the first time in a long time arsenal fans no de miss match, even if it's 1am in the morning everywhere de full, and the noise from the view center is directly proportional to that on the field of play. the beautiful thing is that even those that claim to hate us can't help but enjoy our matches. 7points clear, the main goal is non other than to win each match and get the 3points if any trophy comes along the way then so be it, but the goal, the ultimate goal is to win each match regardless of who the opposition is.

the most beautiful thing about this season is that all my favs that i defended when they weren't this good are now making headlines.
i remember being one of the few arsenal fans both online and offline who was confident with trusting the arteta project even when the result was the direct opposite of what we needed, i was once called a plastic fan for defending xhaka. i remember telling a friend that once martinelli clicks no one would take that wing from him. it pains me that smith rowe is still out shaa.
about last night, omo!!! over confidence been de worry me, i staked arsenal to win first 30mins and another ticket arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals and i won both tickets. what am i trying to say, the believe, trust and confidence we have now is like non i've ever seen. i knew we wouldn't even dare to fvck up, dem boys are mentallity monsters. kudos to everymember of the arsenal family, from the gaffer to the staffs to the players and we fans.
and a very happy beautiful and wonderful new year to us all
