My advice is to reapply, appeal takes 6-12months and that’s if they will even attend to your appeal. I’d advice you to Reapply like 1-2 months before your date of departure because now this is festive season and application is high even at this moment. Goodluck

Good afternoon everyone, please I apllied for the charity worker visa, did my biometric Feb 2nd, later got non straightforward mail after 15wd, then nothing more till I sent a paid mail on march 18th, they replied within few minutes that my application is being considered for decision making. Since then nothing... Now this is where I'm worried, my COS expires 17th April and I've not gotten a reply yet. I hope this doesn't jeopardize my application, since I've done my biometric since February 2nd. Thanks

However, it is only right that you give back to this thread by sharing tips on how you structured your application, relevant qualifications/courses taken and other things you did that gave you an edge during your application. Some of us have been doing this since Uzland started this thread last year and you were able to get the necessary information you need from here. It won't be fair to withhold and relevant tips that can help someone else. And you don't need to wait to be asked before you drop it. You can share your experience like some have done/have been doing.

Not to discourage you but to also advise not to put all your eggs in one basket, Poland is extremely difficult to enter now.

However, to your question; you can make direct deposit to the school from your bank. I know of first bank. There's a CBN form you will fill, which you'd be required to attach your admission letter and other details, the bank would send payment directly to the school at the official exchange rate.

It is not straight denial if u are married and ur husband is in nigeria it is really in advantage to show ur ties with the country sometimes it advisable to show ur marriage certificate

But if ur name on ur waec is diff to ur passport for the sake of legalization do an affidavit to be on a safer side (reputable law firm)

Try the UK, I don't think Poland will allow you go with your kid. The UK can even allow both your kids and husband.

As we said earlier, your best bet is the H1-B visa. But you would have to have a special skill that many Americans do not possess i.e. software/hardware engineering, coding etc.
The company that would file a petition for your H1-B application would need to show to the Department of Labor that they couldn't find a qualified US citizen for the job opening.

The asylum route is tricky because you would have to provide clear and convincing evidence that you are fearful of future persecution in Nigeria based on your religious beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or membership of a political/social group.

If you go thru the F-1/J visa route, you'd only need to stay in the US for a year before being eligible to apply for Permanent Residency

Op, take it from someone who has studied, lived and worked in Europe. Don't try it. There is a difference between visiting the UK and actually living there. With 5 kids, don't try it. Your quality of life will reduce by a lot.
