He is still a minor, and so those calling for death are wrong. A reprimand home or juvenile home is the best way.
Someone who clearly carried out attempted murder should be kept in a juvenile home? Ah! Anyway, I am not surprised as you reside in lovey-dovey Western society. That boy should be hanged! There are no two ways about it.

An Indian boy killed his sister. She started menstruation. He saw the blood and thought she was disvirgined and killed her.
He too should be killed. Besides, for this group of people, it is their prehistoric and archaic cultural practices. Economic development and stiffer penalties would curb them.

On Reddit, boys sniff pants of ladies and a boy was rating his female class mates based on looks. He named the one considered to be the most unattractive "unrapeable" ,a minor "pre-order", and the prettiest "adoption material".
Sniffing of pants is a fetish. Declaring someone "Unrapeable" can be considered a criminal act.

These boys will read Andrew Tate comments. When we complain that Tate should be silenced, they will say the matrix is attacking him.
Andrew Tate is as a result of the wanton freedom feminazis feminists had over the past decade. The answer is to deal with both extreme ideologies. Uloma on Twitter has called for the death of men. Izu committed suicide because he was falsely accused by fugly looking femi-witches. Justin Ugo was also accused but was able to defend himself. In both cases, they were declared guilty by social media miscreants rather than a law court.

I disagree with u.

I live and work in Abuja. Last year April,I bought a land somewhere in Kubwa for 9.5million...early this year, the price of the land has changed to 15million. But to shock u further, the price of the land is currently going for 20million as at last month. There is no one selling for now...because even those who have one or two wants to buy more.Investment in land is the ultimate advice anyone can give u.
Apart from inner towns, anywhere else in Abuja is an economic and residential hub. So, Kubwa is not a "village" in the economic parlance of real estate.

actually at some point I considered doing that, but due to some reasons best known to me, I decided not to… and Moreso, I don recover so I don’t really need to, I just wished I didn’t do it that time o cos if you really know what happened during 2021 crypto super cycle , you would have understood my point..

As a single young man, if you hit it big at some point, building personal house should be your last priority ,
Invest more in what gives you the money , skills and business, rent better house for better area, then buy CAR!!!!.
EXACTLY! Building a house can be understood when one is married but for a bachelor? Invest the money into what produced it in the first place. Rent in a good neighbourhood. If it is a career, renting is better as it is flexible. For instance, those in the finance industry can pursue a CFA certification and use the qualification to secure better and higher-paying jobs outside Nigeria. A personal residential property ties one to a location. Unless inherited and in a major economic hub, it is not easy to leave a property a young bachelor toiled to erect.

if u travel go home whr do yo stay, hotel or ur uncles house
Nothing concerns me with going to the village. But then, the economics of building a house in the village when one does not have a nice apartment where he makes his living sounds absurd to me. It should be done when one has made a ton of money. But then, I am not just interested in travelling to any village. I use the example of my dad's friend who made so much money. He has a massive residential property in Port-Harcourt where he made his wealth before building in his village which is in another state. Only for me to be told that he now lives in Lekki where he bought another property. However, he is a minority as most people, who are average at best, will not own more than two or even one property in their lifetime. So, it is best to make the best use of one's finances. Unless the "village" is an economic hub, else, it is pointless to me.

(1) Real question about a really important related issue - Why is Nigeria's role in the cocoa market still predominantly the export of beans and minimally processed beans?

A lot of those cocoa beans go to Europe, where they're used in factories that employ thousand, maybe tens of thousands of Europeans. Many Nigerians surely have good paying jobs at major cocoa using companies like Nestle and Unilever, in fact I met a Nigerian in Houston whose husband works for Unilever in London. I believe...without checking...that Europe and other processing countries and their companies make more money from Nigerian cocoa than Nigeria and Nigerian farmers and marketers like Starlink. I welcome any evidence to the contrary. So why is the Nigerian role in cocoa markets still concentrated in export of raw and minimally processed cocoa? Or is there a Nigerian company that adds value to cocoa I'm not aware of?
As we discussed the last time on this topic:

Gerrard59:
The same could be said of Ghana and Ivory Coast. These chocolate firms generate money because they spend a lot on marketing. It is like Nike or Adidas - make the shoes somewhere in China, and sell them in the West at high prices due to marketing. Two, the major consumers are Westerners, and the companies selling chocolates are theirs. So it won't be easy to disrupt the system. This is unlike electric vehicles, where China is a major consumer, so she can engineer homegrown EV companies.

Since Africans don't consume chocolates like Westerners and the major companies are in the West, the best alternative is to sell to rich Asians - Japanese, Chinese and South Koreans. Also, target Emiratis and Indians. Another alternative is to encourage private investors to establish companies semi-processing cocoa. The final production takes place in the West. Ednut mentioned having constant electricity to preserve it in good condition. That is another issue.

But then, compared to cassava where the West does not participate, Thailand is the major exporter of value-added products, not Nigeria, which is by far the biggest producer globally. That is where successive governments have to support the private sector to add value to it because the Thai folks did the same thing. The major advantage the Thai enjoy is proximity to China - the major consumer of products derived from cassava. Companies are doing the same in Nigeria, but there is so much work to be done. But it is way easier than upsetting the West in chocolate manufacturing. Palm oil is also a case study - we don't have homegrown companies like Wilmar and Sime Darby, which dominate the industry, even though it is said that Malaysia built their industry with oil palm seeds from Nigeria. The major companies behind palm oil production in Nigeria are dominated by foreigners - Europeans, especially Belgians and South East Asians (Malaysians, Thais and Indonesians).

In conclusion, Nigerians are not really as good at long-term entrepreneurship as we claim to be.
Also, the cost of doing business in terms of power supply has made cocoa processors to be uncompetitive compared to European producers.

(2) Another important thinking point - this Starlink is essentially doing the work of the Nigeria Cocoa Board that was abolished by IBB in 1986. Hopefully Nigerians realize the import of the results after 40 years? This is EXACTLY what should happen to NNPC and all the crude oil & natural gas resources in the country. Privatize all resources and companies AND deregulate all prices.
Agreed. I think you should have mentioned some of those monikers who push for a national oil company, national power provider and national food subsidy program.

Igbos have been building in the village and most of them who own houses in their village are still doing very well in business.
Now, compare them to Yoruba who don’t build in their villages . Are they doing better in business than those Igbos? Do they even build more houses In the towns than the Igbos that build in the village?
The bottom line is, having a reliable source of income. The reason people make money is to derive some fulfillment from what money can afford.
Fair enough. But do most average people keep a consistent source(s) of income?

That is a discussion for another day.

A one-in-a-year annual ritual. Well, it makes sense when the person is a high-income earner who has diversified income-generating sources rather than ploughing the first investment earnings/savings into a house in the village which is visited once a year. For an employee, better to invest in highly skilled certifications which lead to higher salaries and job responsibilities than building a house in a no-economic activity area called a "village".

Yes, then take loans on the existing business assets to finance the current business for expansion or new business opportunities. This is advisable for a single man or a married man with children whose business(es) are already established. The living house isn't really an asset as peddled as it does not generate revenue.

Advocates of "build a house in the village" ideology will tell us that the political structure of Nigeria makes it so. Fine, but if your village is not the capital city or a budding economic hub, then it is pointless. My parents own houses in their villages, today, none reside there neither are my siblings interested. Tor! I cautioned them as it made no economic sense to me then and till now.

As for opportunities to work. I don't know your work/academic background, but I will recommend production facilities where you could be employed. One of which is the methanol industrial facility supported by the African Export-Import Bank in Akwa Ibom as well as BUA's ongoing refinery construction in the same state. Also, within the same axis, there are proposed and under-construction petrochemical facilities. I believe there should also be other similar projects in Rivers.

I have no idea of the starting salaries in these places, but since you stated you need a job, I strongly believe hands are needed there.

Op you need to start approaching women both offline and online. This is what I will do if I was you to find a girlfriend in 3 months there in Canada.

Look for women focused activities and join them. It can be yoga, dance class, pilates class and stuff like that. Join things where you are the only man. Make friends with every woman there. Even if you don't get a gf there and you get close to the girls there. They would invite you for programs and when they do they will bring their single friends. The next thing is for you to go and pay a professional photographer. Get some nice clothes and accessories and take very nice pictures. You can then post the pictures on Reddit and select the best looking ones to post on dating apps. Join a dating app like tinder and pay for premium and put your pictures there. Once a week pay for boost preferably on Saturdays in the evenings. You will get likes and since you are on premium you can see who likes you and match with them. Try to go out once a week to places with a lot of people and try to talk to women. Get comfortable talking to them. You won't even have to do everything here to find someone. Forget the girl in Nigeria except you want to be unfortunate. Some of you guys that do live in English speaking countries do fall hands to be honest. What will you now do in a country where nobody speaks English. The language barrier alone is a major problem before any other thing. FYI if you are fat, just forget everything on this list and go and lose the weight first or you will get more depressed grin grin cheesy
For you to take the time to write this post using standard English means you are well-experienced. Looking forward to trying your tips.

Always loyal to your gofment🙌🏿

Hi guys,

I thought I would have overcome this act by now, posted awhile back about my lust with women and escort, and how I’ve been spending so much on escorts more than $300 per session and from 2022 till date have spent over $20,000 on both escorts, onlyfans models and all. I have a girlfriend I’m in a long distance relationship with in Nigeria , but haven’t told her about this part of me and this my addiction issues. I tried seeking a therapist but it was a pastor and lots of judgemental things were attached to the therapy session, I couldn’t continue with it.

Honestly I feel so lost especially after seeing the escorts or paying, it’s affecting my work and can’t focus at work or anything, the little savings I have , all have been depleted, I try to save back and in a week I can go all out and deplete it again. I need help / guidance. I’m 27 years old living in Canada. I’m just lost and like I posted I think last year and was advised against it, I feel marriage would help me or make me stop.
Bros, you have come again? shocked

You need a therapist, but first, undergo strong deliverance at MFM headquarters. For you to have squandered your SAVINGS on escorts isn't a good thing to read. Or maybe because you have a high libido. For men, this results in high expenses, unlike women who can get any man to have sex with.

As for a long-distance relationship between Canada and Nigeria, sorry but that is a scam especially if you both did not date for at least a year before you relocated. Alternatively, aim to be rich so you build a harem, but how can you fund your entrepreneurial ventures when you squandered your savings?

This one don consume Ikoyi and Lekki Democratic Party communist rhetoric. One, she is right that Nigerian billionaires such as Otedola and Dangote came from wealthy families. However, it is wrong to say that all billionaires exploit people or it is inhumane to possess such wealth. What about Paystack founders? And the man who sold his livestock company to Farmcrowdy?

Yes, to be a billionaire is phenomenal as it implies humungous amounts of money. But to be wealthy means they created value on a large scale. If Nigeria is to prosper, we will experience the growth of many billionaires, especially non-crony. See China and India.
