Going forward my blessed people, hope you're all having a pleasant time. please I wan to know, a friend I was chatting with told me about Hiroshima university but I got to point I asked she break the cost down and she said something about acceptance fee being 260k and 250k all in yen, my question is, do all school charge this much for acceptance fee?
Yes, it's known as Admission fee. Mandatory to all applicants including Japanese (I think).

Please go on to the school website for updated and real-time information. This is not how things are done here - they expect you to know the basics. The basics are on the Internet.

Please conduct a basic Internet search. Google is everywhere including Syria, Sudan and Liberia.

the street of singlehood is filled with single beautiful ladies in their 30s, early 40s......it is almost over for the marriage institution actually. YOung men have realized the truth- you will toil, you will labour for the family, you will sacrifice just for someone or some people to label u absent father. Not hands-on. YOu will suppress your ego yet u will be labelled misogynist because u are doing the sensible thing-stamping ur authority and not letting a girl manipulate you emotionally. AT the end of it all, u use ur sweat ur money to build the family, the children, the children starts flourishing .......u do not have their companionship, the affection belongs to the manipulative gender. WHY MARRY THEN, why not use your money to enjoy your life, build better network, do better health insurance for yourself, and raise your kids with a girlfriend that is ready to play by your rules. Some will say, she will leave when she gets the person that will marry her- How is that your own problem as a man? Are you looking for a loyal partner OR
While the rest of the post are largely on point, it's hard to have an unmarried woman follow a man's rules simply because she has his (their own anyway) child. In such a case, surrogacy is the best option for the man or a contracted agreement between both parties to part ways after having children since they would rather remain single in the long term.

Bring out your facts instead of just typing without saying anything

Have you noticed the change in the women folk in the past 30 years?

- There are more women starting up business compared to the 90s (more independent minded)

- Remember back then when it was mostly male children in school and government was advocating for GIRL CHILD EDUCATION? do you still hear that?

- Back then a girl would hardly go out at night but now you see them at lounges and soft life spots 247 (more liberty)

- Social media has opened new doors of female liberty did you hear of feminism in your mom's time?

- Back then, many of the things women do now, they only do in secluded places (ashy joints and clubs) and at night. But now, a girl will come out with no BRA/PANT and light weed in clear daylight.

- Even the police has embraced the new changes. When was the last time you heard of police raiding Ashy joint compared to 15-20 years ago when the raid was daily?

Ngwa man wake up and smell the roses.
Thanks for this viewpoint. Noticeable changes.

The future will be very interesting to see.

Daz not true
He's correct. Many women who are fiercely independent would find it hard to submit. So, in such a case, they rather not marry. The reason Abel emphasised that there's nothing wrong with being unmarried.

Add Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka to that list. All of which are not good to write home about. Although, Maldives and Mauritius are pretty okay. Then compare to where the Chinese are spread - China, Hong Kong, Singapore, parts of Malaysia & Thailand, and Macau. If we are to expand, the largest number of foreigners in South Korea and Japan is Chinese.

oh please! That is not true and can never be true. The pounds earned in London are spent in London, not Lagos. Two, there is an economic concept known as PPP - Purchasing Power Parity. So, the Nigerian in Lagos has more money to spend than the Nigerian in London.

The majority of ethnic Chinese who moved are disgruntled Hong Kongers, not Mainland Chinese. The latter tend to move as students and return to China. China has more to offer the average/smart Chinese than the UK would ever.

A man needs to have consistent sexual intercourse. It is his biological right. Outrightly denying a man his conjugal rights, and being cocky about it, is very bad. In your words, you don't even care about the man's feelings but yours alone. Tell me, why should a married woman deny her husband sex and be proud about it?

Well, good luck to such men.

The way they even say young boys will impregnate these advanced aged women tells a lot about their mentality. Not even that a fellow 50-year-old man will approach her, but a lad.

Pity
It is biological - testosterone. The same hormone makes men what they are. It is a pity many men are derided for exercising their right to have sex, a basic biological phenomenon.

To be fair, we don't need a strong naira. It does more harm than good. The naira is perfectly okay at its current value. If possible, I want it to go to $1 = N2000. We cannot be subsidising other countries' production. We need consistent and constant power for industries and waivers for imported machinery, not a strong naira.

Maybe to turn Nigeria to Sudan angry
Yes. Buhari initiated it, and I fear that it will return in 2031 once the north gets back to power.

BusinessRe: Lady Shows What Shoprite Ilorin Looks Like Now (Video) by Gerrard59(m): 5:11am On May 23, 2025
The fault isn't entirely Tinubu's, even though he supported Buhari in 2015. The entire challenge started when Buhari became president. His thorough incompetence, aiding and abetting his marauding herdsmen brothers to waylay communities and mismanagement of the naira.

Two, subsidy had to go whether Tinubu, Obi or Atiku. It had to go. We were subsidising our consumption on BORROWED funds. That is unsustainable and unrealistic. Additionally, oil production plummeted under Buhari, who used unsold crude as collateral to obtain loans. That man ruined the country!

Three, for Shoprite, the original owners have divested, and the brand in Nigeria is entirely owned and managed by Nigerian investors. However, there are wholly owned Nigerian retail outlets that are generating revenues, such as Justrite, Market Square, Roban Stores, Shahad Stores etc, across the country. As long as these ones are thriving, it means Shoprite is doing something wrong. Also, the tales of being owed payment for goods supplied in an inflationary environment do more harm than good to the Shoprite brand. That is not Tinubu's fault.

The solutions to the economy are pretty simple:
- Fight Fulani herdsmen's atrocities head-on
- Ensure BUA refinery and others get on board as soon as possible
- Ensure seamless port activities to improve the export of non-oil products. To further aid this, power supply to industries should be prioritised, even if residential estates would be starved of electricity.
- Increase oil production, at least to meet up OPEC quotas. If the truck battery developments by Chinese companies are anything to go by, we have a very limited time to utilise the dollar earnings of crude oil.

TravelRe: Where Is The Cheapest Place To Live In Nigeria? by Gerrard59(m): 11:07pm On May 21, 2025
Another thing though, affordability has more to do with securing an almost free accommodation. Accommodation is a major driver of cost of living. So, OP, where can you get a free place to reside without issues? That's where it becomes cheaper to live.

When you say many men haven't changed at all, is this from actual physical conversations/interactions across the spectrum of men or online conversations?

Mine is from studies such as women preferring to be child-free because men haven't changed alongside them regarding childbirth and other women's issues. Additionally, women demanding more as major/equal players in the corporate world. Another one is women becoming more sexually free or expressive compared to a decade or two ago. Many men are yet to come to terms with this.

Haha. There's also the Sexuality/Ashewo thread. Have you seen that?

Any place where oil forms the backbone of the economy gets an inflated cost of living.

Kebbi, Jigawa, Kastina, maybe Ekiti and/or Osun, Taraba. These places are significantly cheaper than those places you listed.

Generally, life is more expensive in southern Nigeria and any Christian dominated area compared to northern Nigeria and most Muslim dominant cities.

P.S. I saw that you mentioned Osun. Fair enough.

She is right though. I think the Nairalander Tightpussy2024 stated something similar. Men will want to follow every woman, but believe theirs are untouchable. Things have changed on most social issues, so have most women (globally speaking), but it seems many men haven't changed as well. Maybe the effects of testosterone and nature are too strong.
