Big Daddy China is at again - investing and sharing technologies everywhere it goes. I'm happy that a new industry has been birthed in a different part of the country. Make the economy of the country try dey diversified beyond Lagos, Abuja and Port-harcourt. How much are land prices in Lafia and Keffi? |
No wonder dem dey arrest una every Eke Market day in the yukay. I look forward to more arrests if these are what you people term indecent dressing. No wonder feminists no dey gree una rest. Are those dresses really indecent? Let's even see how his son dress sef - Ndi future man of the house 🙄🙄 |
That man shouldn't be allowed to be close to female children. He's a b.omb waiting to explode. Is that what he called indecent dressing? 🙄 |
RodgersAkpafu:Then, they're are very igno.rant and easily brainwashed. Everyone knows it's because the Brits/West are apprehensive about China's progress. The same rhetoric has happened in the Netherlands, Switzerland and America. |
RodgersAkpafu:It's still money. The collective success is economic success, all tied to money. Yes, in most parts of the world with American influences, Black men should be top three minimum. The stereotype about gbola would always be there and I think physical looks - tall, broad shoulders and big. All in all, men should be economically well off to maintain attractiveness. This is a universal phenomenon. |
They should target export markets. That's what the Chinese do - source cassava, process and export everything. Alternatively, site your cassava starch factory in a neighbouring West African country, say Benin Republic, and sell to Nigeria. The cost of labour should be lower there. |
RodgersAkpafu:It's universal bros including Asia - South, Southeast and East Asia. The White man is loved dearly. Chai! Money good o |
guobe:This is why in this japa journey, individuals have to consider themselves FIRST before anyone else. Two, they should have fewer children. Lastly, this can happen to anyone including those who left Benue to work in Lagos while building mansions in Gboko and Makurdi. |
guobe:Why are they scared? P.S. I'm excluding those who were born and bred in Nigeria for at least ten years and those who have been frequent visitors even though they were born and bred in the UK. |
RodgersAkpafu:I do agree with the capital controls and Jack Ma situation. Australia is even worse than the UK as it has more anti-Chinese laws/rhetoric second to the US. Yes, please ask them about their reasons to remain vis-a-vis the current anti-China rhetoric throughout the West. How do they intend to enjoy life knowing their ethnicity prevents them to study at certain departments at elite universities? Over here, based on anecdotal conversations and actual newspapers publications, many Chinese especially those who are solidly middle and upper middle class are moving to Malaysia, Singapore and Japan due to cultural similarities and proximity. My view is that a growing number are moving away or stashing funds overseas, but increasingly in culturally similar countries rather than nations who don't want China and the Chinese to succeed. |
Sharpsharp00123:How many Nigerian men have money? You people misuse the terms "rich and wealthy". Many Nigerians are just average or slightly above average. Stop mentioning Ned Nwoko as he's a rarity. There aren't many Ned Nwokos across Nigeria. And yes, single fathers should marry single mothers. I will not support my sister to marry a single father regardless of how much money he has. I'm not interested in how much a man has anyway as it's never going to be my own money. You should understand that it's not every family that places money so high in certain situations. |

Rictech:Well, you try other schools because at the end of the day, you can only be assigned to one professor (his/her lab). Until that professor accepts you, you cannot gain admission, regardless of the admission office's decisions. |
RodgersAkpafu:So far the data showed that they are the fewest of non-EU students who stay back. They form the largest contingent of non-EU students in the UK, but take up slightly more (1%) graduate jobs than NIgerians (third ranked in student contingent). When compared in raw figures, our people took up more jobs than they did. https: //www. gov. uk/ government/statistics/analysis-of-migrants-use-of-the-graduate-route/analysis-of-migrants-use-of-the-graduate-route |
The "age gap" isn't an issue provided both parties including her family agree to it. My major issue with that gap is the generational gap. There are many areas you both will not understand each other. For that reason, I cannot be your age and date such a P.S. Please don't mind anyone who says you are a "paedophile". That is one of the words people who live in a country with no constant power supply misuse because others who live in developed societies use it. |
Rictech:Number one: that is not the only school. You need to apply to as many as possible to get a favourable response. This is a game of numbers. Number two: It is a go-ahead to apply. So, apply. At this point (as well other applications), you don't ask for any funding as you are putting the cart before the horse. You need to apply formally aka put your profile for the professor's and internal assessment. You talk about scholarship when asked, or the application has gone far. But at this point where your profile has not been assessed/viewed? It is unnecessary and needless. |
Mcslize:The insecurity and police brutality are two major problems I have with living in present day Nigeria. Else, it will be great for me. But police don't brutalise in Ghana or Ivory Coast? Bros, I don pray for you tire, do japa. |
emmaodet:And it fuels one's drive to make more money so as to improve the current model. No be every financial narrative inside book people suppose adhere to. |
folake4u:Based on the followers' message restriction settings, I agree with Mrjavas. It's going to be hard. Well, na for those wey wan woo ladies online. I'm so old school. It has to be face-to-face. |
It does not and would not change anything. If they wanted to stop Tinubu, that should have been BEFORE the 2023 elections, not AFTER. Tinubu is going nowhere. As I have repeatedly stated, Tinubu would rather commit suici.de than lose the 2027 elections. |
Unlimitedlucky:Japan is actually cheaper than most countries many Nigerians opt for. So many part time jobs to increase one's earnings within a month or two of arrival. Stick to national universities. Anything private or public will cost more. Target schools outside the Kanto and Kansai regions - low cost of living but fewer jobs and fewer English speakers. |
Rictech:No idea. The professor could be very busy. I used one week interval, after which I resent the email and called the number attached to the laboratory telling them in simple English to check their mail box. I called at 9am Japanese time which is 1am Nigerian time. |
mysticwarrior:I'm glad this comment is the first so everyone gets to see it. This puts to end the claim that Nigerians have to be prayerful for the country to prosper. And if we mean the Christian form of prayer, why are China and Japan prosperous? Are they Christians? |
Hire a domestic servant. In the long term, it's not so realistic for children to live with their parents especially in countries with a large population and land mass. Such are common in Hong Kong and Singapore, but unrealistic in Mainland China and Japan. This is why marriage goes beyond having children, but also involves companionship. Parents should know that one day their children will leave them to be on their own. Na you as husband and wife go dey together until una kpe.me |
aribisala0:Well, no more any longer. We nay other African countries should seize the opportunity to partner with anyone willing to share technology, patient capital and know how with us. Be it China, Brazil or any other country. At the same time, no country has the right to tell us what to do. I cannot recall Tinubu telling Germany whether to accommodate Ukrainians as refugees or cancelling Russian gas contracts. |
onyxo76:The monies are being used to lessen our debt burden. Buhari burdened Nigeria with so much debts. Again, Tinubu campaigned and voted for Buhari in 2015. |
Germany has no right to dictate to Nigeria who to befriend. Upon its industrial knowledge and strengths, the Chinese are the ones working with us in developing our railways and power stations, not Germany. Nigeria has the right to befriend anyone, be it North Korea, Russia or Canada. Make we hear word abeg... |
AfonjaPriest:But subsidy had to go. It was just unsustainable. The issue is why did he oppose it when Jonathan removed it? |
iwaeda:Does this mean a crate of egg is 9K naira? Holy Jesus! |
The removal of fuel subsidy affected the entire pricing of goods and services in the country. However, subsidy had to go. The question is: Why did Tinubu oppose its removal by Jonathan in 2012? Thats where the problem started from. |
A major reason why some people relocate and others vow never to return. Too too disheartening.. |
