Family › Re: Hauwa, Adam Nuru's Wife Packs Out Of Husband's House, May Seek Divorce by GetMeRight: 8:01am On Jan 13, 2021 |
AreaFada2: Moyo's husband is the one who is now dead. It is what brought the whole thing to light. If Moyo wasn't married, it won't be an issue because polygamy is religiously and culturally normal up North. He might have marred Moyo.
Now listen. If you think what I am about to say is made up, check my posts from years ago. I have mentioned it many times before on threads. A wealthy relative who traveled frequently for business married a wife and gave her the comfort most women would wish for. When not on business trip he spent quality time with family. Not the party or flenjo type.
When he say that things were beginning to worsen in 9ja years back, he decided to relocate his family abroad. DNA test was needed by the embassy. And BANG! All three kids were not his.
He died suddenly not long after. Luckily he had one child from a relationship when he lived abroad. DNA proved that child is his. Funny enough he did reveal the shameful result to his family. Only documents found after his death revealed it.
Meanwhile everyone began complaining about his cold attitude towards his wife and stopping the relocation process. He was too ashamed to tell anyone as he seriously pampered the girl and her family during the marriage.
After his death some even blamed his frequent traveling for the girl's behavior even though the girl knew his job before they started.
What you said is not far from blaming the late hubby, if only you can find one little excuse to so so. We saw all such things after our relative's death.
Moyo even has the effrontery to say we should not play God and blame his untimely death on her shameless evil act. Can you imagine her heartlessness.
Moyo is good looking and if she decides to allege domestic violence driving her into the arms of the idiot Nuru, brain and education miss- road self appointed feminist defenders will applaud her. Very unfortunate |

brexit: I have not doubted most news in this platform but this story is not true, one may ask me why.
Hauwa the wife is a moslem and their religion and culture do not forbid polygamy so why would she want to seek divorce, the man may decide to marry more than 10 no qualms
Second the blogger was unable to put Hauwas picture to justify all that was written And this looks a marriage to you? This is a scandal! |
Education › Re: What Can A Person Do With A Third Class Degree? by GetMeRight: 8:46pm On Jan 12, 2021 |
whyteteeth: First and foremost I am a 2.2 graduate. But from what I have seen so far, I have come to discover that job adverts specifically give preference to first class and 2.1 graduates and very few give room for 2.2 applicants. And I am yet to see any job specification that includes graduates of third class degree.
Now someone with a third class degree can only do masters after completion of a postgraduate diploma. However, job advertisements for lecturing positions still lay emphasis on minimum of 2.2 for lecturing positions. So a third class degree applicant who has masters and PhD still doesn't stand a chance as compared to first and 2.1 or 2.2 applicants.
So my question is, what is the way forward for third class graduates, should they abandon the degree and enrol for another first degree? Or universities should abolish the award of third class degrees to graduates.
In my own opinion, students who have poor grades that will eventually earn them a third class degree should be given some form of remedial programmes for a year or two which will attract additional fees so they can have opportunity to boost their grades and at least earn a 2.2 upon graduation. Just my opinion!
Please feel free to make your contributions as well. There are a lot of third class degree holders out there who are really frustrated and would want some advice on what to do! Even first class and second class graduates are going into business or highly demanded skill acquisition. Just embrace one of the options and move on. |

2mercy: According to sources who spoke to Peoples Gazette, Mr. Akuma is being treated poorly in police detention with no access good food, health care, telephone communications or even his family. The young man has only been to court twice since he was arrested for close to a year and have not had legal representation.
The Buhari administration on the other hand, has an antecedent of contempt against the Rule of Law, the Nigerian constitution and the Nigerian people.
The administration has since its first inauguration in 2015 flouted no fewer than 50 court orders, clamped down on citizens constitutional right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and has failed to secure the parts of the country, particularly the North from the grip of Boko-Haram, banditry and terrorism.
The Administration has also sought to gag the free speech through its many attempts to introduce social media bill. This report is too sensational. |

Like a fellow on the second page said the industry makes money because people like to be entertained and will pay any amount to receive said entertainment. It is the up to innovative people to create the entertainment people look for.
Academic excellence is good in its own right but it will NEVER generate as much money for the people working in it as the entertainment industry.

Conner44: Seriously?
A friend of mine who’s an engineer went up north for a building work and was returning with this Toyota hiace bus along with 2 of his workers and he told me that while passing somewhere in Adamawa state their bus was stopped by immigration officers who demanded they all come down and show their ID’s.
He couldn’t hold his surprise when he noticed that out of the 18 passengers on board it was just him and his two colleagues who had valid sources of identification. The rest were apparent northerners who couldn’t even speak English and didn’t even have phones talk more of ID cards.
After bribing the immigration guys they were all told to enter the bus and continue their journey to the south.
Now let’s do some maths :
One hummer bus passed with 15 apparent immigrants. If 100 passes in a day that’s 1,500 immigrants. (Just for hiace only oh)
What of Sienna? Commuter? Private? Etc all carrying their own various amounts of immigrants?
I project at least 10,000 immigrants coming soy that per day from one particular route from the north in Nigeria today. And this is very worrying. I hope this NIN and SIM palava isn’t a ploy to grant them automatic citizenship via one mago-mago way or another Are you talking about foreigners or northerners? How can you be immigrants in your own country if you were referring to Northerners? As there are many people in the north without id cards, there are also many people in the south without id cards |

THE Director-General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu, who said he was not opposed to the unity of Igbo people, however, stressed that it was a difficult thing for the people of the zone to be united on an issue, stressing that no ethnic grouping in Nigeria had ever being united on issues concerning them.
“For instance, I am one of the followers of President Buhari. From inception, to be sincere, he never had the support of a large segment of the northern elite in the four elections spanning 2003 to 2015. His base was mainly the Talakawas or the masses. I am also aware that when His Excellency, Alhaji Shehu Shagari of blessed memory was running for the presidency, he didn’t enjoy the support of all northerners. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s love loss with the Yoruba is legendary. Hence no reference to hang on, as Chief M.K.O. Abiola of the blessed memory defeated Alhaji Bashir Tofa in Kano.
“Accordingly, no pundit should fly the kite that Ndigbo will not produce Nigeria president of Igbo extraction because we are not united. And let no one buy in such bogey. It’s trite that when you want to deny a child his ripe apple you may concoct one excuse or the other. The truism is that it is our turn He has a point though. My only concern is that you guys hate APC as a political party so much that no one knows why. The party that was formed in 2013 or 2014, why? |

Nazgul: Mr man, whether she loves her husband or not is none of your business. She's getting married and she wasn't pointed a gun and forced to say I do. Which means she willing agreed to marry him after breaking up with you. So what's your problem?
Men tell their side chicks how their wives disgust them, and how they'll divorce her and marry them just to get into their panties.
Women tell their boyfriends how their fiance/husbands maltreat them just to get their love and affection.
It's all a game, if you love yourself just stay away from her and her marriage and focus on your life. A word they say is enough for the wise. Nice one. The dude still doesn't understands that the lady in question is pressing his mumu button. The lady wants to have it both ways, eating her cake and still having it. |

amazing101x: I'm in my early 30s, I'm a christian, i'm single , never married and never had kid. I would have loved to marry in my early or late 20s but after several years of chasing true love when my heart was still tender, i've come to realize that love is selfish. Ladies i loved back then don't usually love me and now that i'm financially stable, every ladies seems to love me but i no longer have a tender heart, please don't get me wrong, i'm not wicked, i'm a nice person and i respect women alot but i no longer believe in true love or soul mate.
Now that i've come of age to pick a life partner and get married. To think of spending the rest of my life with one woman is very confusing. But recently i've been thinking of marrying more than one woman , maybe atleast 2. I've talked to some ladies about it, some of them showed remorse and some gladly accepted it. I'm considering marrying educated ladies who won't think of harming each other with charm but would see each other as friends so we can build a family together. Each time i think of marrying more than one wife, i feel more convinced about marriage than thinking of marrying just one.
Please i need your advise. Do what you want, don't take advice from sentimental people. Most killings between couples in Nigeria occurred mostly between one man one wife family, don't let anyone scare you |
