There is supposed to be Igbos in every party. That way, the whole region will not feel like they have lost regardless of the outcome of an election.

The problem is whenever an Igbo politicians identify as APC, they desert him and treat the person like Judas.

A politician that can not garner support from his region for the party is almost as good as nothing. So chances of presidential aspirations are low.
