CelebritiesRe: Five Disappointing Blunders In Tiwa Savage’s Controversial Video – Ayo Alaba Ido by ghostwritter(m): 1:01pm On May 01, 2016
olapluto:
MOST ladies who carried the issue on their head like Jumoke bread are singles, divorced or soon to be divorced. They are the ones who do not fully understand the meaning of MARRIAGE. Most of them I see on my fb wall, I know their history. Some from broken homes, some got married only after they got pregnant for the guy and had to force his hands into marriage.

For all 45 minutes of Tiwa video, all I see is typical family issues. Issues that are normal in marriage. Most happily married couples deal with such issues weekly. It starts to die down after few years of living together. Reporting the issues to outsiders is always one sided. E.g Tiwa said she 'never cheated on her husband'. She did not say she never slept with Don Jazzy or Sid. Perhaps it all happened before marriage and Tunji gets flash backs.
As for spending on the man, it is a shame that she can say that out. If the man were to list his spendings on her or her issues, I am sure he will have plenty to say too. In my home, my wife can buy me a trouser of 200USD and broadcast to the world, while no one is there when I pay average of 800USD everytime she fills her online shopping baskets. If Tiwa asks for money for diapers from her husband, shes only doing it to spite him. Every family has their modus operandi. My wife will NEVER ask me for such because we have both made provisions and I deal with other things. When we go food shopping, we both understand she will pay fully while I handle school fees.

In my opinion, the marriage is too fresh to crash like that. Impatience, and social media killed the marriage. Every married man has had a day when he wished he never touched his wife with a long stick. On other days, you just sit and marvel at the gift God has given you. However, when family and Instagram start to get recognition in the marriage, then things get out of hand. I had to stop my wife from uploading family pictures on facebook. Family matters stay indoors.

Tiwa's shoddy attempt to tell her side of the story is poor. Married couples can easily relate to where their problem is coming from. Singles and single mothers can also quickly pounce on Tiwa's story to convince themselves on why marriage is not important. The only victim in all these is the child. Imagine one day when he's 10 years old and he sees this video on Youtube. He is going to be deprived of a decent upbringing due to parents who were keen to satisfy social media before satisfying poor Jamal.
For all the 'edible catering' and cheating stories, one thing was for sure, it would wane. Our mothers went through worse things and ended up being boss ladies in their homes. Men are strong headed but weak minded. We know our wives and know who we are playing with.

Overall, I pray that both of them can come together, leave family issues out of public eye. God be with them. Amin

Lastly, if you are one of those who is encouraging them to wash more dirty linen outside, stay away from them. God doesnt like those who break homes.
this is the best comment on this issue. God bless u sir.

How can a wife that the husband and his friends prostrated for at the traditional marriage and she swore to Almighty God before witnesses at the church wedding to love him in health or in sickness; for better for worse now betray him calling him a cocaine addict and a shameless thief wanted by the EFCC?
She has already condemned and sentenced him before prosecution.
Then shedding tears later not for him, but to save her fame and fortune of multimillion naira endorsements as a brand ambassador.
God have mercy!
God bless you.
Tiwa was ready to give her husband away to the sharks just to keep her fame afloat. Teebillz himself must be one hell of a foolish guy.

RomanceRe: Reasons Why Relying On Signs And Not Consent Before Having Sex Can Be Misleading by ghostwritter(m):
Medley:
It has been the season of signs - various green lights that indicate that one is craving to have carnal knowledge of one another. I would have let the thread go without this counter-thread, but i think the importance of this thread at this time can't be underlooked or superfluous.

It will be egregious if we want to always depend on demeanours and gesture of a partner and not his/her consent before wanting to sleep with him/her.
These are why i posit so:

1. A sweater may be just the right answer.

This reason might sound funny, but give me the chance to corroborate my point. Most ladies whether they tell you or not, want guys to always treat them with tender care and not some point and sex creatures or sex symbol. Yes she came to your house, it was raining and she set-off by calling you that she is coming under the cold weather and all over your heart you think she want sex and that's why she called and she is now with you all alone. She may just want to wait somewhere until the rain stop or she just might have not had some talk time with you and that time just seem perfect. When she is in your house and she said she is cold, may be you giving her a sweater or blanket might be all she wanted.

2. She came and demanded alcohol.

She has never demanded for alcohol and this time she came and she is on her third bottle and you have concluded she want to sleep with you, this can be misconstruable! Have you asked her how she spent her day? What events have transpired in recent times? You may be preying on her vulnerability at that moment all in the name of thinking she wants to have carnal knowledge with you.
If you have sex with her and she leaves for her home you haven't solved her problems and she will know what is more important to you in the relationship.

3. He/she apriori asked his/her freind to leave the room.

And so what? Most of the time i live the room of my friends if their lady friend come visiting except what am doing there can't be done else where. next time if his/her friends live the room, it might be because they think you need your space and the guy/lady may even want sometime with you unencumbered so you could have a stronger relationship. sex can and will never make two partners be more bonded than time spent together.

4. He/she demanded you don't bring your friend(s)

In every relationship trust must be built, he/she might want to know if at the relationship life-cycle you currently are if you now truly trust each other, if you misconstrue it for sex appeal only for him/her to feel disrespected when you try to push, you may have succeeded in killing that relationship.

5. She came in with short and revealing wear and she lay her hands on you.

Yes! As indicating as it seems, the sign alone may not be what you should rely on. First, what stage of the relationship are you on. She may seem to look sensual in her outlook but have you asked what she want in her heart. Have you known her so well to know how she dresses in the day and night? What if she went somewhere and was locked out? What if she was feeling so hot inside that day she visited and decideded to dress that way.

If you don't seek the consent of anyone before trying to sleep with him/her you may find yourself battling a case of sexual assault when this was done uncosciously - one of you was not consenting. Or you may even be embarrassed if he/she is still weighing options or path to be taking in the relationship.
Relying on signs has been major reason why rape cases are growing by the day.

If you have more reasons why one should not rely upon signs please let's know
OP, If u think that a naija lady will say she wants s€x orally then u are sitting on a looonnnng thing. All that matter most is understanding. My girlfriend once told me she would have left the relationship if I was waiting for her to lure me into intimacy, that how will she even say it.
I don't advice force, just study her nature and let her be FULLY councious of ur action and a stakeholder to d fun.

Great nairalanders, i know you people are exceptional in giving good advice to people because i have been following this tread for some time. Though i am new.
i am suspecting that my lovely wife is cheating on me. The reason is that, each time i want to go through her phone, she picks up a fight. Whenever i want to use it for something else, that would be the time she will want to use it. I feel she is hiding something from me but i really want to get an evidence so that i could confront her. Most of the time when she is chatting with someone on phone, she hides the conversation. i wonder why?
Pls great nairalanders, what do i do in this situation? I don't want to confront her yet because i don't hv a proof.
Please no insult. Thank you
one thing i've learnt in life is LIVE AND LET OTHERS LIVE....relax ur mind and prevent high-blood pressure. Don't police ur wife, just let her be because HE THAT SEARCHES FOR SOMETHING MUST FIND SOMETHING wink wink wink wink

Kneeling down, crying and begging Abacha is the height of cowardice. Diya wrote his name in the World's Everlasting Book of Cowards. He didn't know he was on camera. Even a civilian man will hardly kneel down, cry and beg his fellow man, let alone a Soldier. Major Okar and many junior officers plotted a coup, they ware caught and executed. They never begged. Generals Vatsa, Bisalla... were executed; they never begged. General Ironsi was captured and killed; he never begged. Plsss. Nobody should defend Diya by calling Ojukwu. Diya ruined his family name, forever.
Ur father will do thesame if he cares to see his children through d hardship of life.

HopeAtHand:
I take it from you that the reason be begged for his life is to tell his part of the story. Well, better to hear from the horses mouth direct. But the story in effect is one of shame, a story of subjection to indignity. I can count a million persons who will rather die than be subjected to kneeling and crying to a junior officer to live.

What the heck is life for goodness sakes. Abacha is dead, Al-mustapha will someday. Death comes sooner or later, but that indignity is engraved in history.
Pride goes before downfall.
I want u to imagine that Diya was ur father and had just given birth to you at that 'begging' time while his wife (ur mother) was praying to God to protect her husband's life through any means.
IF GOD WANTS HIM DEAD, HE WOULD HAVE DIED 19 YEARS AGO.

After about an hour ride, I was at the venue slated for the interview. The crowd waiting at the premises of the firm almost made me though I had come for prayer crusade. Some many people waiting already, I was so discouraged by the mere crowd, I had hope to meet five people at most as a competitor but there I just stood staring over a hundred people also competing for just one vacancy position in an advertising firm. After waiting for about five frustrating hours, I was finally ushered in by one pretty ‘lepa shandi’ who was trying so hard to appear friendly. I walked into a room and saw two men, one in a black suit and the other in a plain white button down shirt with a thick eye spectacle resting on his nose and a woman with an all grey hair all seated and discussing on an issue, they were so engrossed in the discussion that they never even noticed I was greeting.
“Unbelievable…just like that” the man in spectacle said to the others
“in this hard economic situation, I’m very sure that large sum of money will go a very long way in solving my problems” the man in a black suit said in a deep baritone.
“I hard it’s just three of them, just three…..which mean they will have to share it about a hundred million each” the woman chipped in looking so calculative as she made three fingers in illustration.
I had already made myself comfortable on the seat opposite my suppose interviewers who seem carried away in their discussion. They kept talking about three unknown criminals who had brutally murdered a popular politician in another part of the country, but I noticed the discussion centers more on the large sum of money charted away by the murderers than even the dead politician himself.
“If you were one of them, what will you do with that large sum?” the woman asked the man in black suit
“I will travel out of the country as soon as possible and go enjoy the money with my family….no time to suffer” the man in black suit answered with such great enthusiasm in his tone.
“as for me, I will go bury the money in the bush and wait for like after a month when the whole fuse and investigation is over then I start spending smartly” the man in spectacle said boastfully like he already had the imaginary money with him. The woman commended their suggestion but said she would start travelling to Dubai to buy gold, a business she had always wished for since her childhood. At long last they noticed my presence and asked why I had sat uninstructed; I try explain, pleaded and was forgiven.
Like the devil was present, the man in black suit suddenly tries to go informal with me so as to ease the tension he noticed on me, he asked “What will you do if you suddenly come across three hundred and twenty million?”

Sorry guys, I forgot to introduce myself. I simply go by the name ‘Tayo’ also known as ‘Ghostwritter’ here on nairaland and this is my short story.

I worked as a waiter also known as Bartender in one of the popular 'Rendezvous' around town, though it was a per-time job and the pay was manageable. I took up the job last month immediately after my service year, I disgust the idea of waiting or searching for a white collar job even though I wished for one “but man have got to do something to earn something” and besides, merely doing nothing could kill me.
I was on the evening duty that day so I took my time to go for a job interview in which I had gotten the invite a week earlier. I was dressed in my known ‘interview uniform’ of an ash colored fitted suit with black stripes upon my one and only black Pe’llo Italian leather shoe, I looked my best like a young corporate manager.
On my way to the interview, I boarded a taxi whose driver was a relatively aged man, I noticed he try paid more attention to the morning news on his car radio than he paid to the road as he try adjust the frequency to a clearer tone.
“….he was shot dead in his residence in the early hour of yesterday and money worth millions was chattered away by the gunmen, report has it that investigation is ongoing. The commissioner of police has……” a voice of a female newscaster announced through the car radio.
“Chai!!, Just like that!” the taxi driver exclamated as he manuovers his way through the hold-up
“That is life o, we live to die someday...may his soul rest in perfect peace” I said in my most sympathetic tone as I try show unwilling concern along with the Taxi driver.
“And who dey talk about the man himself….abi you no know who died?” he rhetorically asked as peeps to catch a glance of my stupid face through the rear mirror. I was lost as I wondered what else he expect me to know, I hesitated for a while if to ask what was up about the news I just heard or keep my mouth shut as usual, I chose the latter.
“Chai!!...three-hundred-and-twenty-million naira cash just like that!” the taxi driver suddenly murmured into my hearing as he shuffled his shoulder for effect. I decided not to ask what was wrong or show any concern to his words or action. Suddenly, the Taxi driver asked in a tone of urgency with his eyes on the rear-mirror “Broda abeg make I ask you one question, if you get opportunity to see three hundred and twenty million naira cash for ground, tell me wetin you go use am do?”
“I will immediately return it to the police station since it’s not…..” I bluntly said without even giving it a second thought.
Shockingly, before I could finish my statement, the taxi driver made a long hiss like a snake after he had turn his head to give me a ‘you-are-such-a-stupid-and-clueless-guy’ look. I felt so embraced and promised never to say a word to him till I get to my destination and so it was.

I woke up that morning and wished I had never woken up into a world which never goes in my favor, there was nothing different and special about my life, too boring for what I had wished for. It was like any other morning of my boring life. Most times, I feel like my life is on an ‘auto-replay’ mode, every day of my seem the same. I lay on my bed thinking of how boring my life had been in the last few years, I strongly wished my life had been a lot freaky, full of bizarre activities, go strange places and participated in jaw-dropping activities, take a new adventurous turn of a sought ……o I wish!....
_____________________

[b] when I was much younger, I had fantasies being one of these heroic figures like spider-man, Bat-man, super-man, Robo-cop, Captain America, iron-man, Hulk, Van Helsing, Van Dam et.c. but as I grew older, I realized I can never grow up to be any of these imaginary figures but instead I try console myself with the thought that my life might miraculously transform from being a commoner of life to a sought of super-star celebrity such as 2baba, Wiz-kid, Davido, ChrisBrown, Olamide and lots more whose life experience would turn out to be a motivation to the youths but as the day roll by rapidly, I had to embrace the reality of my life as a commoner of this world like everybody else around me and by the way, I realized I had got no outstanding talent apart from my nature given handsome face and nice body structure which doesn’t pay the bills. I had even try followed someone’s advise who recommended I try modeling but out of the numerous agents I had submitted my profile to, only one advertising agent needed my service for a ‘waka-pass’ role in which I earned very little amount which couldn’t feed me for three days.
Deep down in me, I knew I was meant for something bigger. I knew I had the potential to do something great, I felt as if every seconds of my life is going to a waste, I felt there was something within me the world needed to see. I remembered my mother taking me to a white garment church where a woman said she had a vision of me being a very rich man through an unexpected means but I might end up my life in the dark side of life unless prayer and fasting is carried out. Honestly, I couldn’t tell if my mother did as instructed but I was sure she will do whatever it takes to protect her children, though that was a very long time ago.
“Baba God abeg pick-up the call o!” I said in a mellow tone as I practically crawled out of bed
I grabbed my bucket, soap case, tooth-brush and towel, dashed out of my one-room apartment.

In front of the toilet was this usual long queue of my fellow co-tenants who were also there to make use of it just like I was about to.
“Oloshi….shey you no go come out from dat place, abi you dey there they read dictionary?” someone on the queue shouted
“no mind am, na so she dey always do…..dat girl fit spend century inside dat place” another person said
The door to the toilet suddenly opened and Lady Cynthia walked stylishly out from the toilet, she seems not to bother about what people say about her, she was a known hard-core prostitute who never gives a damn about what people say about her. She had promised to leave the compound and go find herself a self-contain apartment when she takes her business from the local level she operates and go international by ‘doing bigger men’.
“shiooo!!....see as she be like Jezebel, oloshi ashawo” Anna who is one of my female co-tenant in front of me whispered.
“Anna, abeg wetin be your own sef? Leave the babe alone, at least she no dey disturb you.
She turned her face towards me and gave me the look that seems to read “e be like sey u don dey sleep with lady Cynthia abi?”
And I also gave her the look that reads something like this “Abeg, dat olosho no be my own kind of person ooo” even though I knew deep down in me that it was a lie. For the past three months now, I have been having an intimate relationship with Lady Cynthia….but that is within the sphere of my dreams.

So many feminist are now coming up under d disguise of 'gender equality'....but i do not blame them, rather I blame men (their fathers) who are too weak to take up their roles in providing for their families and supporting their wives in difficulties.

Shame on women who wants to be in every way equal to men.
