Foreign Affairs › Re: US Navy: Sitting Ducks In Future Cyberwars? by giantstrides(m): 1:01pm On Jan 30, 2016 |
cyprus000: Its no news that the self acclaimed greatest military power is lagging behind, when it comes to modern warfare.
Modern naval warfare is not about having fleets of aircraft carrier's,naval ships and decieving oneself that you have the military might, while it will take just few jet fighters to sink all fleet within minutes.
We saw that play out, when US violated the black sea accord with her (DDG-75)destroyer equiped with their latest aegis combat system, defence system, neval weapon system that can destroy hundreds of target simultaneously, more than fifty anti-aircraft missiles of various types, plus 4 radar system with power comparable to that of 200 stations. russia responded by sending just su-24 and su-30 with neither bomb nor missile. Just a basket that contains khibiny(electronic device). When the su-24-30 came near the USS donald cook destroyer, it disabled all radars, information transmission system, control circuits, the self acclaimed all-powerful aegis system hooked lyk agbada wey hook for barb wire In an instant, the NATO's most advanced modern ship shut down, just lyk Cyprus will decide to switch off his tv with a remote control when bored by a vapid tv program.
After repeating a particular maneuver pattern 12times and stimulating missile attack on the deaf, dumb and blind almighty USS donald cook destroyer . The Su-24-30 got bored and decided to have mercy on the less priviledged(DDG-75) .
Immediately the su-24-30 went off sight and their system restored, they scampered to romania for safety.
This is even conventional warfare. We're not even talking nuclear, cos that one has been settled on earth and in heaven.
anytime I see all this western zombies ranting on how US has the the best and greatest military force, I usually feel pity for them. Cos they have undegone irredeemable brainwashing, due to too much exposition to make-believe and ingestion of distorted content from CNN,FOX,BBC,hollywood movies etc Lol, the donald DUCK . |

BALLOSKI: You kids don't know what security is all about. When insurgency was in other places, we folded our arms and refused to prepare in case we have it on our land . Today we were 'caught napping' when what we thought cannot happen in Nigeria started happening ; we have Nigerians blowing up themselves .
Going by your assertions, Nigeria should wait till we have external attack on us. What's wrong with being proactive?
Never again shall we be taken unaware by our enemies. I was actually so angry, I wondered why they even opened the thread in the first place. |

OBJ is a hypocritical two faced human being, however in the interest of the nation, I must say his letters always have so much importance, they are always forceful and brings the consciousness of the whole nation to the issues he has addressed. I believe he also has this uncanny ability to know when things are gonna crumble for the recievers of his letters, his letters are just a necessary push to accelerate that inevitability. |

Even opening crude oil industry to Nigerian investors/companies.

jpphilips: The unfavorable price has forced the US to cut production that will stabilize the price around the $30 margin for a while. My greatest concern lies with the fact that most oil exporting countries are running on budget deficit which may likely force them to seek for loans. It is high time these countries form a union to determine collectively their loan destination. It makes no sense that the US shale oil saturates the market with antecedent drop in crude price, then affected countries will run to the US financial institutions to make up for their budget deficit. All the affected oil producing countries need to seek for Loans in Asia not World bank and IMF. Very true, I also don't understand why everyone keeps using the dollar as the world's oil currency, let them move to other currencies, or the USA will keep emerging the winner . |

Amitex: I am wondering why our youth are wasting away their precious time on social media instead of being productive to better their lives. I have observed this Barcanista /TonyeBarcabista of a guy for sometime and I am wondering. Does this person have a meaningful job? Imagine a character that resumes on NL at 7.00am daily and closes at past midnight posting average of 90/100 comments a day. Even Seun does not spend such length of time on his NL.
I am sure this man needs a job, please if anyone can assist him so that he can put his time to more productive use and reduce time spent on social media.
@Tonyebarcanista, go back to your profile and check the time you spend daily on NL arguing back and forth and give your life some meaning! Sit for some professional examinations if you have a lot of time to read and research. Stop wasting time (arguing) on NL. If you think that this platform can provide you political relevance, please, think again. Who do you know has become one through NL? Especially with your views! Who would trust a character like that. Good politicians are tactful and focused and not tossed around like the sea waves.
"Time na money" is a popular Rivers slang! Wake up bro you are not getting any younger!!!

How many niger Republic citizens has been jailed in Nigeria for illegal immigration Only African countries with out rule of law behave like this. So are those same people in europe granted asylum when their intent of sneaking in is a treasonable offence ? The way you people twist things just to justify yourself . |

Kennydoc: Be sincere to yourself. Do you think Hausas would take that rubbish from a southern president? It's about equity and fairness. Despite GEJ patronizing the north seriously in the last government, they still voted en mass against him, this things you are complaining about are trifle and mundane, do you honestly think PMB has marginalised the igbos since getting into power, what have the yoruba's really gained, are they complaining ? Don't let tribalism poison your mind against the government . |

If he campaigned for biafra that could be the only treasonable offence for which there are lawyers to defend that. Having two passports was not the issue buhari raised, he complained that Kanu entered nigeria illegally without using any of the passports, do you even understand what that portends ? |

They asked him about neglecting the Igbos when he appointed his aides and he was talking about minsters. Are the ministers the president's aides? Does he not understand what/who aides are?
#Shame So the fact he appointed mostly northerners as his aides made the igbo's marginalised , hasn't he fulfilled the constituitional requirements by appointing a minister from each south eastern state ? |
