Or do steam inhalation... then suck. It works faster.
You and baby should stay covered while hubby helps with the covering n moving or removing d hot water bucket....

Cover her head too....

She breathes like there's mucus stuck in her throat and coughs same way. Though nothing comes out of her nose yet. So I think it's cough with the catarrh waiting to happen.

Otherwise go to the nearest pharmacy to you and ask for saline drops. Put a drop in each nostril when it's blocked, it will loosen up for her to breathe

Nights like this are the worst, she hardly slept and the catarrh isn't letting her breathe well. I'm officially desperate, how do I make the palm oil and sugar solution, how much sugar and how much oil to give how often.

Sorry I'm quoting this. Kick count is actually 10. If you can get up to 10 kicks within 2 hours then it's ok per day.
By now, you will know when your baby is most active or drink/ take sweet things then sit quietly leaning on a chair and count.

Pllease how true is this? "At 37 weeks thereabout there is usually reduced movement cos of less space for LO to move about" kindly share your experience. Also, there is this regular tightening one feels which is kindof painful/bulges out and hard when u touch, can that be substituted for movement/kicks one is supposed to feel?

The tightening you feel are contractions, Braxton hicks contractions cuz they ain't serious or regular, at 37 weeks you would prolly feel lots of BH contractions and little movement (cuz no more space). Even at this, make sure you feel the baby move atleast two or three times a day, if not you might want to do a scan just to be extra sure he's fine.

Someone please tell me the 14 weeks immunization won't come with fever again.

Shey you've bought that emzor paracetamol syrup? Don't forget to give her before going. What have you used for the cough? Try see a doctor about it before or after the immunisation.

Yeah I've the paracetamol from her 6 weeks immunisation. I've just been trying home remedies for the cough, but nothing is working, we'd see a doctor after immunisation.

Give him paracetamol syrup immediately before leaving home and 6hrs later. My lo only cried as the nurse administered the vaccine. She didn't cry afterward or have raised temperature.

I hope this would be my portion tomorrow cuz it's also immunisation day for us and thinking of it just makes me panic and she now has this heartbreaking cough that's just painful to listen to, don't wanna have to deal with that and a fever tomorrow.

Some nights I had kicks like there were three babies in my belly doing band practice, nothing to worry about, when the baby wants to come out, you would feel contractions not kicks

lol, the secret is to do a lot of start and stops. We started severally and as soon as it got too uncomfortable I'd say stop, guess all the false starts finally eased the way for the day the deed was finally done
