I created a thread for this but not getting the answers that can resolve the issue. I would if you can give your professional advice regarding this...

"My girlfriend came to me telling me what her brother's girlfriend is going through. She confessed they had sex severally wothout protection and from her calendar she was supposed to see her menstruation on the 8th of June but to her dismay she hasn't seen it. She has gone for blood test and urine test and it came out NEGATIVE.

She said her boyfriend always does withdrawal when he reaches orgasm and pours out. Now she so worried for the past 3days now and considering going for scan of which she was told to come on Monday.

My girlfriend told her that with the blood and urine test those are enough proofs to show she is not pregnant but the lady in question is scared because she has not seen her 'period'.

Question: Is she really pregnant even with the test results or wait til Monday to know if she is pregnant? What can she do to start seeing her menses again?

Tell your girlfriend's brother's sister's auntie's uncle's husband that if the urine and esp blood tests say she's not pregnant then she's not pregnant. Stuff like stress might be what is keeping her period away. She should chill for this month and if period still doesn't show next month let her see a doctor to find out whats causing it.

Also tell her that withdrawal method is not a method.

Ok considering the fact that the vj massively expanded to let out the baby, it does take a couple of week plus kegel exercises for it to shrink back to normal. Now I'm suspecting you are asking these questions cuz u wanna welcome Daddytydi specially to Lagos wink

I think it depends on what the hole really is and how big, could be that your stitches came off. Hope you didn't sit on steam? Give it a couple of days more and if it's still that way, you might wanna get it checked out by a nurse

Lol you sound like their fellow catholic. Anyway hp means honeypot. Good to know it doesn't hurt again. First time I ever asked hubby to look at mine he said he doesn't know which hole is which again cheesy

I cried that whole night and he swore never to look again. Gave it a couple of days then we looked again when the swelling was all gone and there was no out of place hole.

Your baby is perfectly ready then, a lot of mamas here have had cs at 37 weeks, hopefully mamas that have similar experience would answer you soon but there's nothing to be afraid of.

Would they cut you open to do the arm implant? I think this injection is the most friendly for me, who is the injection and how reliable is it

Mention the last issue to your doctor at your next ANC so that he can make sure you ain't having contractions, October is still far. For the first two issues, yes that is how 'the thing dey be' grin

Awwwww that's nice! Sometimes when my lo is awake, na to carry her march like soldier else she will be crying. I can't even sit down to play with her, you have to stand and play. Sometimes I stand to eat, since my mom left because na she be dey do the marching stuff. Oh My feet hurts! I am very grateful to God but I think I need house-help.

Try get help then. I admit maybe the reason I don't feel that stressed is cuz I have excess help. She makes her dad do all the dancing and jumping but not me cuz I've the boobs. cheesy

Loool most times I watch the movies when she's awake and breastfeeding but yeah she doesn't disturb a lot. Ever since she was born she's always slept at night like she knew it was night, like today she slept around 9pm and only just woke up to eat around 1:30am now she's back asleep, she'd wake up about 2 more times to be fed but she'd always sleep back right after. She still has her days tho

Choi me I wish I was being sucked dry but me I'm always eating with one hand and breastfeeding with the other. I don't know which one made me more hungry, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Even when food is not readily available, I'd take tea or a massive bowl of pap, I just feel like I'd faint if I don't address the hunger at once.

I just called the hospital to ask about rotavirus vaccine and the person on the phone said it's N3500, she seemed to be speaking off the top of her head too. Biko for anyone that's paid for it recently, is that the price cuz I've been hearing rota is expensive.

I already googled it and as expected all I found is a bunch of personal opinion articles so I choose to still remain open minded on the topic. I think it would be an interesting research topic for people in your field, whatever that is. People just want to dismiss traditional Nigerian medicine, but some of these things have worked for our ancestors for years and just need to be researched and better packaged instead of dumped for the white man's medicine.
