I was told the baby is big and possibly won't fit into my pelvis. The doctor diagnosed cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD). I seeked the opinion of another doctor and he said no one can confirm CPD unless a woman is in active labour for abt 12hrs and the labour refuses to progress accordingly.
I am hoping all will turn out well sha. The issue of small pelvis can scare someone. thanks ma for the reply. Regards to giddybaby.

Thanks mam. its suppose to be my day but here I am with zero labour sign. I never thought this would happen to me ( Guess i felt am too special). I dnt know if to go for a schedule cs or wait. I just dont want to wait til labour starts on it own and stil end up with emergency cs. It wil be too disheartening, especially when I know I could have saved myself the stress of labour and time. I was also told my baby is big already. Am so confused right now. He weight 3.11kg at 36 weeks scan. I dont know his weight now but am currently on 39 weeks.

Teamie no cause for alarm o, God gat us cover, have also be cleaning my tips with cotton wool and coconut oil for a while now, infarct sometimes I do tell hubby to come suck on d tips just to help bring it out wish we still did yesterday(d thing can hide for Africa), but reading dis now na operation no cleaning or sucking till Lo arrive o.

then he isn't struggling to poo. He would do that with ease when he wants to. My ds spent about 8days without pooing when he was dat age and even now at 7weeks, he can spend about 3days before he poos very little sef.

Still Preggy mama's, enjoy each moment now o. Nobody tells you anything about the stress of vigilante. In all, we bless God. I have a few questions so mama's if una wake up, make una respond o.

1. Mama's that had CS, how long before your tummy started going down? Did you use a post partum belt/abdominal binder? If so, when after CS did you start using it and what brand(s) did you use? Also did your legs remain swollen after your surgery? How long before my legs no longer feel like tree stumps? Cc @hunniesuzzie and other mama's that had CS.

2. My baby can suck for Africa! I stopped formular feeding two days ago and now my nipples are the most painful. It was so painful this evening that i could not give her to suck. I had to go back on my word and give her formular and now my husband won't talk to me, says why should I give her formular , that i should endure . I have Lasinoh nipple cream and I apply every 2/3 hours but my nipples are still sorest sore. What can I do?

3. I wasnt given any drugs for my baby from the hospital, asides from the few drops they gave her after delivery due to the trauma she encountered. Now my mom, sister and sister-in-laws won't stop pressuring me to buy this vitamins and that vitamins. Please should I buy ? They said Abidet, Baby Vitane, Panda syrup, gripe water etc. Which and which am I supposed to buy? I called my doctor and he said best practices dictates not giving medications to a child unless it's absolutely needed but the people around me dont want to hear, even hubby sef so make una advice me abeg.

I went for antenatal today hoping to be induced as the doctor promised last week only to meet a different one who began to tell me that hospital rules specified the mother must be up to 40 + 10 days before they do that.

cue me bursting into tears and blubbering like a baby. was just saying please please doctor am tired amidst tears. the yeye man persist that I come back on Monday.

I sobbed all the way home. it was terrible.

Pls, mamas that travels well, I need to get to owerri by 1pm tmrw(latest 2pm), I was told at Park that their first bus leaves Lagos 7:30am. Is it possible I get to owerri at my targeted time? Or do I need to look for another bus that can leave Lagos earlier than 7:30am? Also what's d average time travel from Lagos to owerri?

So I WANT TO RANT
Yesterday my lo had a quiet kinda day, i felt movements a few times but not the jacking type(read thats normal cuz there aint enuf space). All tru the night i kept rolling and turning hoping that lo will move more (at least if he was asleep all day he should be awake at night) but noo, i think i felt him move just twice.
So this morning i told dh about it and asked that we should go to the hospital just to rule out any issues. He agreed and we got there around 11/11.30.
We didnt meet gynae but a young doctor who checked for heartbeat after pressing hard on my tummy for a while, she picked heartbeat and said ehnn she has to get a second opinion from the gynae so i should wait while she gets across to him.
P.S While on the way to the hospital, i was feeling lo move oo but i just insisted that we got there.
So after a while sha sisi doctor called us and said we will do Obstetric USS Scan (not sure i got it right) and CTG scan after which she will admit me so i can take counts of lo's movt under their watch. I said admit for what na? This baby is moving already biko let us just do scan and go.
Ok time for scan na they said i shud pay 5k for that one, we paid, scan was done and it came out fine.
Sisi doctor said we shud do d CTG scan just to be sure and not take chances since we are almost due. Time to pay na, they said 10k and i am like wetin carry me come this hospital today, i just come to spend money ni. I now told dh to ask if we really had to do it seeing that the 1st scan was already good, he went to meet her and she said it is important oo cuz i alredy complained so i have to do it bla bla bla.
We paid and i was taken to the room before they could pick heartbeat nko, they press everywhere because ehnn of baby's position bla bla, they eventually got it and placed 2 tools on my stomach(one to read los heartbeat over a 30mins period and the other to check if i was contracting).
Ok oo, 30 mins passed and they refused to remove it because they are waiting for sisi doctor to come check me and all and my back was seriously aching, i sha para dt it aff do coman remove all ur machine, my baby and i are ok.
Wheeew they removed it and i went to see sisi doctor. She said the "charts are ok and everything seems to be fine but i would have loved to admit you". I'm like nooo we are ok i dont want to stay here everything is fine and you can see it. She goes "i still need the gynae's opinion and i will give u an appointment". I go noo i cant come tomorrow pls" She sha insisted and i told her i don hear, dey aint seeing me till next anc or when lo decided to come sha. Left the hospital at Past 4.
The tin paining d most is the 15k i spent oo, i should have just known that my baby was chilling and nothing more ooo. And the hospital now wanto admit me ontop of what
I should have just stuck with my HMO hospital but dh doesnt like the hospital shey i would just be paying shikini money now
Mamas plss someone should just tell me sorry cuz i need it now.
In all i thank God that we are fine.

It actually worked! didn't poo for like 5 days ,it was always war in the toilet and I bled twice. I think it's internal pile.went after using it this morning ,it wasn't as painful as it use to be.

Let me use it for like 2 days and see.Doctors will not see my money in this recession
