Fabeh15:Wow!! Happy you made it and thank God you didn't let the stresses weigh you down.. Congrats to you!! |
Abdullahi4u7:it's not dying please and it won't if you're truly meant for this.. You guys should stop all these frailty please! As far as you have 200 and above, your dreams are sure, just that you'll need to employ more dedication for postume. If you got 200 or above and peradventure, it's lower than your uni.'s Jamb mark, you have a second option of changing your institution to one that requires lesser Jamb cut-off.. Only be vigilant and acquaint yourself with cyber guys to always check when it starts 'cos it has a deadline, think after 3weeks of Jamb! |
durels101:Don't worry, don't panic.. Get your printout first, I believe it's more! What Uni. Are you applying at? |
Dalyjay:alright sir! All the middle-belt states: Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Jos, and Niger! |
durels101:are you sure it's your printed Jamb result slip? |
Jason555:Ameen!!! |
prahcetomi:wooww]! That's great sir! |
Jason555:KSU! 100L, Biosciences - Zoology, aspirant like you too sir!] |
Joeprince2nd:Yes sir! Though I'm not a Unilorin student! They usually have 220 as medicine cut off for Jamb and 240 for Law, that's the by-ways! Unilorn has a yearly totals of over 70k students applying and thus rendering the admission slot highly competitive! Medicine has the highest percentage by composition of the competition! They do five subjects in their post ume: ENGLISH(major number of the questions come from here), mathematics, (2nd large), General paper, biology and current affair for everyone, alike(due 2 d competition). 50Qs for 30minutes. They don't test your knowledge of the composite subjects candidates registered 'Cos they believe u settled that in ur O.level/sec.sch! |

kingjms010:you have a lot of it! Just work harder/smarter in your post-ume! |
Jason555:wooow!! Congrats Sir. Jason! !First hurdle mortified! Thank God for all! |
Joeprince2nd:you have alot of it and workload for post-utme! Your state is one of the catchment areas of Unillorin! So you have the equal advantage an indigene of the state has as an outsider/non-indigene! |
fabfunmi:sure you have a lot of chances but you must work harder/smarter in your post-utme! Most schools in Nigeria have 200 as Jamb cut-off for medicine. I knew about a few who held Jamb as a major qualification for their p.ume..where they have special cut-offs apart from some few school's 200 maybe 'cos of their standard and hence very high competition. some had their Jamb cut-offs as 240 and some uni.s had it for marks above 240.. one needed to write 270+ for such uni.s. Anyway, I do not know if they(such uni.s) still have such practices after Jamb declared all Uni.s to set their cut-offs for hypersensitive courses like ours to be 200 some years back! But I do know most if not all Uni.s adhered to that instruction and Unilag is one of such! So you have chances to build on, okay? It's too early to start panicking now.... ##WE_ALL,_TEAM_MBBS_ALL_THE_WAY_AND_UNTO_GOD_WE_COMMIT_OUR_CAUSE!! |
durels101:i solely disbelief too! See, just relax until you get the scratch card and check! Jamb is faulty with sending results via sms.. So just relax okay? It's well and keep praying too! |
khristals:laughs.. Remember you're the shyful type according to the question! |
Please folks, how would you attend to this situation if it were you? A female friend bursts out on you eating. You're the shyful type. The soup you're eating is the last and the meat too.. You have no farthing on you. Now, if not for anythingelse, you need to offer her sth for the distance she've come. Please how would you relate with this? I'd appreciate your views. |

Laughs! It's well Jason. Just calm down and look straight up above.. There lies help in times of need! Good success brother! |
natdswiftest123:Two options! One is risky though. The other is isn't. If the time still clashes, I presume there should be a time left of the day after the said 'clashing time'. your exam won't last more than an hour or two, at most three.. That means you'd still be within time to write for Jamb! The worst it could be is to pay for the late fee(you know Naija na) or being scolded for 'unseriousness'. They don't have the right to stop you from writing, only the Jamb programme and Jamb do! They are just to supervise, if it were manual, then the basis to deny you is valid but this is a software programme, none of the supervisors are aware of content! However, since we do not know the time limit Jamb accords before it declares a student absent and therefore deferrent of the exam, then it wouldn't be advisable to let a bit off the time schedule for any candidate.. This brings us to the risk! To take it and scale it unscathed, you must have to prepared and be sure or sincere with yourself that once engaging it. It is not to try but to win! Sure.. Passing Jamb ain't the qualms but striking excellence and being on an undenyable platform. The risk is: Write the Jamb, miss the exam, get the C.O, beat high in Jamb and post-ume, by God's power, your name emerges. you're done with the C.O exam For the better and that was how you left the school for your dream! But upon second thought, I see that the Jamb time doesn't necessarily work accordingly. 'cos even all the candidates come there before the time, but because of the crowd, the screening procedures would always resort them to writing behind their scheduled time; maybe, 30mins or an hr for the most exam venues and that doesn't nullify the exam.. Jamb understands that! I think the exam being nullified would be a date after the scheduled date! So, you could still meet up w/ the two by God's power! Wishing you Good Grace! |
natdswiftest123:alright.. Thanks to God! But you know what to do? |
natdswiftest123:check your Jamb time and Phy113 exam.. Are they clashing? |
Hello Doctors, how are you preparing to kick Jamb flawless and murder it for Life? |
dearpiriye:Sure! you have all the time ma! Whatever is good, is worth spending time on to bring out the best it could possibly yield! |
dearpiriye:Laughs!!!! Wonderful even yet; That it had been a Sis who had been flaunting vocal excellence this awesome like a guy/man? by the way, we didn't know it's a 'Ma'" and we've been addressing it "Sir" all the while? although, some ladies are men in skirts, So, it's still within realms yet, though!! Your honour Sir./ma.! |

flexcalvin:Truly, you need motivation! I suffered that and I seemed like a stranger to myself.. I was just surprised at how wonderful I was, couldn't remember a thing and I was like worthless to myself with an empty skull! I was motivated through extra murals.. There's always a way, any time, anyhow.. Motivate yourself.. You have a browsing phone, read articles about medicine online it'll challenge you and imagine yourself there already.. Let there be something that spurs you up or enamors you when you feel too tired or lazy to read.. That thing maybe medicals, it maybe personal life goals or ends and all that! Whatever it is, Just find something!! And work!! Prayer is the first always but it won't work if you don't work!! Good grace Bro! |
dearpiriye:Laughs! It's well Sir!! Maybe you could just help show us the way, at least! :-)))! |
SDAC:Laughs Boss!!! True shaa, I grab Sir!! What has merits has demerits too, While Wole is good at grammar/vocabs and helps people to fumble through dictionaries and struggle with understanding the message or idea he's trying to pass, Chinua just passes the message and everything just ends, communication happens! Great! But Information/communication has a dual effect - the vocab improvement and the message. there are instances you hardly can pass the message we intended because words don't suit or can't express the full concept or impression of our message.. Communication hasn't taken place then.. It's not because there are no words to express the message but because we don't have them at our disposals, this hinders communication.. In an attempt to convey the true context of the message, what we title "VOCAB" results! However, this doesn't happen all the time,. And I'm trying to say that information must not always be within the terms of our reach, though most times, it's not so. In as much as the message is the fore figure in communication, vocabs is built alongside.. We'll always remain where we are if the information format are just in terms of the simple words we have ever learnt or always known. There'll be no improvement. so we have to be developed on both sides.. Chinua Achebe does this anyway and that's what gives him the edge.. Sorry abeg we no dey do mass communication/GST class here but improvement in learning should be all round - Being able to pass the message and also to help build your readers; none should exceed the other! This is what makes Wole boring somewhat for the general readers but it's good and bad shaa.. Sorry my text dey dey to lexical and boring! I'll readjust sir. No doff for me oo boss! Na your boy I be oo Sir!! |
tell me what you think.
