A friend shipped in a 2003 Ash coloured Toyota camry that she drove for about two weeks before returning to the States. Its up for sale. Her asking price is N1.5m. Pls call or sms this number 07025622243 for enquiries. I just got the brief last night. I will see how I can get more pictures of the engine and interiors when I go to Lekki this weekend or on monday.

Art, Graphics & VideoRe: 20 Worst Habits Of Graphic/Web design Clients by gidig(m): 12:48pm On Nov 02, 2013
found this very informative and familiar too. I do mostly prints and you get a lot of these when you just start out. Now, I have an array of clientele I have worked with and I use them to my advantage when talking to new clients who saw my work and called.

Its important you discuss money before you start, no matter how urgent the work except its client wit track record for paying. I remember one insurance company in old ikoyi and a calendar brief. Negotiation was with a director of finance, who was calculating the price of plates and impression with us. For design, he felt we did not need to be paid for that. We ended it there and then. Little wonder the company went under a few years later. The man had the thinking of a jankara pepper seller.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Lagos BRT Workers To Strike Over Unpaid Salaries by gidig(m): 2:59pm On Oct 27, 2013
How everything becomes tribalistic on nairaland these days beats me. The Blue BRT is not run by the Govt. Get your facts right! Its the Red LAGBUS buses that are run by an agency of the Lagos State Government. I have been disappointed by the maintenance of the blue bus and their services are becoming poorer by the day.
Christianity EtcRe: Wearing Jewelries Takes One To Hell? by gidig(m): 6:26am On Aug 19, 2013
This is simple scripture that answers this whole vision of Hell stories:

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Notice that in this narration by Jesus, He said that Abraham said if people don't hear the messengers of the gospel who are alive, a message from Hell wont do. While I believe that there are those who genuinely have received visions like this, there are way too many people who will continue to cause confusion by it as the visions are always different and geared towards putting people in the bondage of their denomination. The Word of God is the yardstick- not what someone saw in a vision.

Here is what peter who walked with Christ had to say 'We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

If there was one person that should boast of proximity with Jesus Christ, it must be Peter. Yer, he called the written word the 'More Sure Word'. Visions as the type that this woman has given are for those who don't know their place in God.

And to all of you that always reduce every discussion criticizing GEJ to an ethnic thing, where were you all when a Pan- Nigerian group of activist marched against the police in order to have GEJ installed as the president, when Yar Adua didnt come back to Nigeria as expected? Suddenly, he is now a regional leader that must be defended at all cost, even when he is doing wrong.

I see a GEJ that sits in an office that is clearly above his capability and he has not been wise enough to disregard stupid
counsel from self serving people. When OBJ was the president, his worst critics were from the so called South West Yoruba axis. Every election, he loses even his ward to opposition parties! That is the Yoruba for you. I want to believe that some of the imbecilic comments I read here from people who claim to be from the South South is not representative of who the true South South people are.
PoliticsRe: Soyinka Is An Embarrassment To His Admirers – Patience Jonathan by gidig(m): 9:22am On Jul 13, 2013
say what will about Prof Soyinka but he had always commented about issues like this and it is not just because the person in question is GEJ. For some of us who gave the president the benefit of doubt because of the circumstances through which he came into power, he has been a big letdown. I will continue to pray for him to find his path to true selfless leadership but for his wife, it is a different matter. When she came to Lagos months ago, I remember how the whole of Akin Adesola from Bar beach to Ajose Adeogun rogh about was closed down. Not even u der the military did anyone display that much disregard for other users of the road. In spite of the complaints and curses, her husband, who was elected by Lagosians did not offer a single apology to purchase goodwill. She has gone on to do the same thing in some other states.

If the leader of a nation cannot control his spouse, Nigeria's many challenges are definitely above him. The quality of people he has surrounded himself to respond to issues are devoid of any form of Grace. From Reuben Abati to Doyin Okupe, they are constantly abusing anyone who disagree with the president. There are strains of such people on online forums too.

However taking on Soyinka is a different kettle of fish. say what you can on nairaland but this comment will be viewed seriously in Aso Rock and I will imagine that people in the Villa will tell GEJ to call his house to order. Not only because WS had been part of negotiations to deal with the Niger Delta but because of his clout internationally. You dont mess with people who dont talk every now and again.

Another Tecno thread?
PhonesRe: Tecno In Nigeria Has Come To Stay? by gidig(m): 8:06am On May 13, 2013
A nice marketing strategy for tecno. How do you guys do it? Gather seven people to open different accounts on nairaland to 'dis' other phones and tell us how Tecno descended from heaven? You could at least be more subtle with the sales approach. I actually bought one for my mum because it was the cheapest phone out there. You lot seem to have a lot of time on your hands. I do hope you get some sales. I still say, your marketing thread here could have been a little more subtle and much more believable!
PhonesRe: Tecno In Nigeria Has Come To Stay? by gidig(m): 6:56pm On May 12, 2013
Another Tecno thread? Was a thread not opened a few weeks ago to attack BB? You guys must be desperate to shove this phone down the throat of Nigerians by force. I remember writing in a similar thread that that post was the job of some tecno sales people. And this is also similar.

If you believe that Tecno that its the best phone since bread was invented, good for you. Opening threads after thread of similar Tecno brilliance is getting boring now. If your market survey has told you to go after BBB users, I am sure you cam find some more imaginative ways to do it.
PoliticsRe: BRT - The Beginning of the End? by gidig(m): 4:27pm On May 09, 2013
I think the need for an alternative is glaring. I cant wait for the large capacity ferries that the Lagos state government ordered from Australia. Since the race is mostly between island and the mainland, that will create a safe alternative for people around lagos and we only need to go to the jetties.
RomanceRe: Please Help!!!my Project Supervisor Is After Me.. by gidig(m): 8:49am On May 07, 2013
This is what you will do: get one of those secret camera devices to record your interactions with him and make him talk about the consequence of not sleeping with him. From then on, simply do your best to do your project very well. Then make it public if he persists. From that point on, the ball is in your court. As long as you are not daft, you will be cleared to pass. I known a lady who was in this kind of situation in my university days and her SSS contact made her do this. the lecturer was history from that point on and had to leave the university!

No middle ground if he persists!
PhonesRe: What's A Blackberry Capable Of That An Android Phone Is Not by gidig(m): 1:17pm On Apr 22, 2013
I have finally come to the conclusion that some techno salesperson has decided to open a thread to promote their phone again. Let people use what suits them. We are not all kids playing games on our phones. My tablet will be android but I am not giving up my BB anytime soon. The people who make the decisions that fetch me money are also on BB. That matters to me. If you and your geek squad are techno users as well as android users, no wahala. It does not mean you are smarter-it just shows you have made a choice. creating threads every now and again to bash BB is getting very ridiculous now. Iphone users used to do that regularly until they got distracted by samsung. Grow up folks. its just a piece of equipments. its not an extension of your self esteem!
PhonesRe: What's A Blackberry Capable Of That An Android Phone Is Not by gidig(m): 10:51am On Apr 22, 2013
Another BB bashing thread. We should not be arguing. It all depends on the value you get fro them. I do intend to get an andriod phone but i have too many of my business associates who have sworn by their BBs and the ease of things that they wont move on. the few who did came back after a few weeks. In the end, a phone simply helps us to make things easier, especially things that fetches us money. Not everyone is a techie, exploring HD games on their phone. BB does the very easy stuffs and easy for anyone to use. That is why so many people still hold their BB!
