PointB: How many people were arrested and treated inhumanly during those exercise. Why would they parade traders on news media as common criminal? When did security services (reported as the job of the arrested individuals) become a crime? To the extent that dual use items such as machetes (used for clearing shrubs and bushes), batons, wooden hangers, etc became dangerous weapon.

This is nothing but blatant abuse of power and sheer wickedness by fashola; the overall agenda here is hate and malice for the sake of it. especially against the weak and non indigene.

Nightshift: After Alaba, Ladipo is the second most important market for Igbo traders in Lagos. Personally, it smells like ethnic cleansing in the making. In a very filthy city like Lagos, one wonders why Ladipo is being made a scapegoat in this particular situation.

Afam4eva: I think you have aa point. While i think the whole commando ish was not necessary at the airport, but Nigerians always have a wway of criticizing anything Nigerian and a foreign country had done the same thing, they'll say it's strategy.
