PoliticsRe: Army Did Not Declare IPOB Terrorist Organisation- Buratai by giftedben: 7:59am On Sep 19, 2017
Nigerian Government is heading towards a wrong part. Today IPOB is armless. What happens tomorrow if another organization comes out with arms fighting for Biafra. The Nigerian armies have to stop this needless provocations. For those people who think Igbos do not support ipob, it is time for Nigerians to wake up and understand that this sh!t is real. You should have seen how the Nigerian borders was surrounded with security forces , Igbo's Diaspora were actually coming back for a fight. In aba alone the armies were pushed back there were boundaries as an army you don't cross. Some armies have to park well. People from Calabar, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta were headed towards Nnamdi kanu's house. It was then I realized why the federal government and state Governors are seriously afraid of this guy. For Nigerian armies to use the word operation python dance was actually out of context because if they knew what pythons can do for the people of South East "if you go into a pretty dark place then you are on your own death row".
PhonesIos 11 Will Render Older Iphones, Ipads And Apps Obsolete by giftedben(op): 7:00am On Sep 19, 2017
Apple’s iOS 11 update means iPhone 5 and 5C will no longer receive updates, while some apps and games will be incompatible after switch to 64bit.

Apple has announced that its new iOS 11, launched at its developer conference in San Jose, will only operate on 64-bit devices, making the iPhone 5 and 5C, among other devices,
obsolete and meaning some apps and games may stop working .

The new version of iOS features a new interface and redesigned App Store, but also removes support for 32-bit devices and apps.

Apple’s iPhone and iPads have both used 64-bit processors, which allow the system to use larger amounts of memory among other speed advantages, since the A7 processor came with the iPhone 5S and iPad Air in 2013.

That means anyone with an iPhone 5 or 5C will no longer receive software updates for either new features, or more importantly security fixes. The iPad 4 will also stop receiving updates.

But it also means that for users of Apple’s newer smartphones and tablet computers, including the latest iPhone 7 and iPad, some apps that are 32-bit-only and not coded to operate in a 64-bit system will cease to work once their devices are updated to iOS 11.

Users can check which apps and games are affected by navigating to: Settings > General > About > Applications > App Compatibility.

Any apps or games listed there are running in 32-bit mode even on 64-bit devices and aso will not run on iOS 11 unless updated by the developers.

One example of a relatively popular game that will not run on iOS 11 in its current form is Ridiculous Fishing that was last updated in 2013.

The new iOS 11 will be available as a free update for supported iPhones and iPads.

Wow.

Did not take long for the Headquarters of Biafra to be abandoned. So those " Biafra Secret Service" and those Ariaria trained "Commandos" abandoned Ship?

And just like his business venture in the UK, he has failed once again in life.

Why the illiterates chose this uneducated dropout out as their leader is a little puzzling.

I guess people that fail in life attract each other.

Some comments i read here is unbelievable. Somebody even mentioned 20 Billion in damages lol. For a place not befitting a Hen House?but is a Palace in the land of the illiterate Kanu and his followers.

And who will compensate those that own the Mosques and Northern businesses burned down in Abia?who will pay for the Police Station burnt?who will pay for the wide lootings by IPOB members in the East?who will pay for the destruction of lives and properties in Rivers by IPOB followers?
I know you think you are smart but you are just being foolish. Like an African proverb says “ The fool speaks, the wise man listens". You are a graduate but with your certificate an Illiterate president Buhari is your president.
Christianity EtcRe: Does Not Going To Church Make One A Bad Christian? by giftedben:
it is true to say both that you don’t need to go to church to be a good Christian and that if you don’t go to church, you’re a bad Christian. Let me explain.

If we were to narrow down what it means to be a Christian, the best place to look is at one of the people who Jesus said was a Christian. If you remember the thief on the cross next to Jesus (Luke 23:39-43 ), Jesus promises this man that he will be with him in paradise. This man never got to go to church, and yet he is a Christian because he trusts in Jesus. So in that sense it is true to say that you don’t have to be a church goer to be a good Christian.

However the Christian life was never meant to be lived solo, God has gifted each member of his church to serve one another, you can’t do that solo. It is near impossible to live a Christian life alone, it runs counter to everything God has done for us.

The early Christians can’t help but live alone, the modern church is against their beliefs. Churches nowadays as we have noticed seemed to ask for money frequently. Church are now an event center: The Church was never supposed to be an event. Church was designed by God to be a group of people who not only meet together one day a week, but also are a rock to turn to for encouragement through the thick and thin of life. “Going” to Modern church is a strange concept for the early Christians because church was never a place you “go” it was a constant communion and fellowship between believers as they lived their daily lives.

HealthAre You Afraid To Die? by giftedben(op): 12:32pm On Sep 04, 2017
Of course I am scared of dying! I am 25 and I want to enjoy my life as I am not going to get another one.

I accept I will die one day though so I try and enjoy my life as much as I can. I hope when my time comes it is quick.

I'm allergic to boredom and I believe religion exists for the sole reason that people are scared to die. With the amount of sex I have had, places I've visited, I'll admit I'm afraid cos death is unpredictable:

That's me and why am afraid of dying, let me hear from you.

My team mates of five have these in common: Language and Religion. This is affecting my performance on the job as they often communicate in their local dialect, leaving me out. Sometimes, I am marginzlised in the process.
Also, my HOD (though of my religion) singles me out for errands such as buying him food even when I am seriouly busy.
What do I do as I always feel depressed over these each day I go to work? I am really worried. Please I need professional counsel.
Also, I think I might need a counselor/mentor. I feel I need someone to help me package myself and develop a professional deamenor.
Somebody HELP ME!
Don't even mind the language they speak or the errands your hod sends you. The most important thing you should be mindful is your salary. End of the month collect your pay. Seems to me your hod trust you more than the others. It's part of life.

Stricker321:
Thank you.

I always get this luncher3 error. I also don't have a memory card. I keep seeing the message SMS full, delete SMS.

How do I change my luncher?
You have to download it from playstore or collect it from a friend through flash share.
There are different lunchers like:
Go luncher
C luncher
Nova luncher
Arrow luncher
Just download anyone of them or you can ask a friend who knows more on android to download it for you.

For the sms solution try deleting all the sms messages from your phone. And always make sure your phone have 1gb free of inbuilt memory. It makes ur phone to respond well.

Carlcare service is a scam. Why give a warranty when you have incompetent engineers at your centres. Why give a waranty when your product are not a guaranteed. I bought a Camon cx not up to 3months and it's faulty.. A functional fault for which the screen is no more working without a scratch or a physical defect. Then I took the phone to carlcare office ilorin they collected and registered my phone but the phone was returned to me the next day that they couldn't fix it. Why would carlcare tell me that they couldn't fix a phone that I bought. I lost my money on tecno flagship phone. I have been calling the phone( 08138615848) of the headquarter and no one is picking up the calls. I keep calling, calling and calling. I also went back to 3C Hub where I bought the phone and they said there is nothing they can do about it since its a tecno phone, I have to go to carlcare for any complain.
That's what you get from tecnoshit and infinixshit: I still ask people, why do you buy these rubbish phones and the first thing you experience is your charging point or charger gets burnt, go to any engineer you will always see them welding one tecno, itel or infinix phones panel. Every time is either a tecno, infinix or itel phone is charging and the percentage is not increasing. I don't use a Samsung, LG and co. But when am low on budget I simply get myself a Gionee phone biko, I don't like wahala for my money.

PhonesWhy Sharing Too Much Online Can Be A Costly Mistake. by giftedben(op): 6:32am On Aug 11, 2017
Is your entire life online? If so, it might be time to think twice about what you share.

The internet is a vast, wonderful, dangerous place, and we're only beginning to understand the ramifications of things like social media, forums, blogs, and other venues for sharing information about our lives with the general public.

Why is sharing information online a problem?
Say you're a frequent user of Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. You've customized the privacy settings so that only certain people can find you, and you've set it up so not everyone can read what you're posting.

However, we've all seen many examples of tweets and posts that shared way too much information, and once they're online, they don't disappear. Even deleting social media posts or blog entries doesn't entirely ensure that they're gone, thanks to initiatives like The Internet Archive.

A simple screen shot can be easily shared and just as damaging, and if the content of the picture is enticing enough, it might make its way into the broader streams of the internet and be seen by a lot more people. Potential employers often check out social media streams before they make a hire.

The next time you're about to share something over a public medium, no matter how you've tweaked security settings, remind yourself that what you're sharing will likely live somewhere on the internet forever .

A list of information you should never share online:
1.Passwords.
2.Date of birth.
3.Where you live.
4.Where you work or study.
5.Where you grew up.
6.Names of family members.
7.Credit card or other banking information.
8.Mobile number.

While some of this information doesn't really mean a lot on its own, if combined, it can be quite damaging. Secondary security questions you forgot you set up might be cracked, and then you're dealing with compromised accounts and identity theft.

One more thing to look out for is sharing high-value items. Sure, you might have finally bought that big item you've been saving up for and want to share it with friends, but you're sort of making yourself a target, especially if location sharing is enabled.

Just look at the Kim Kardashian example, where she was robbed in Paris after posting photos of expensive jewelry.

As a rule of thumb, next time you share something on a blog or on social media, imagine it being seen by everyone. That's a lot of views and, if you're excited about everyone seeing it, you're probably alright posting it.

CrescentMoon:
This observation is limited to science degrees, medical courses not inclusive. I relied on textbooks for 5 years in Lautech. We were 1500 students using a hall marked 1000 lecture theater. Public address system not working. If you get to the hall by 7am for lecture, you won't find a standing space let alone siting.
You are correct and right on point, I studied computer science in one of the higher institutions here in Nigeria, Can you believe during my time there I never touched a single computer system, is not that the computer was not made available, it was right there in front of me, covered in dust.

The textbook that was sold in the book shops was actually research work done by students as in copy and paste, these research work was copied and pasted by lecturers of the institution.

I quickly knew I was in trouble and I started saving money to get my first laptop and subscribing to online classes, downloading videos and PDF files to keep myself up-to-date with the knowledge of western world.

My point is these Nigerian institutions are half baked, You don't go there to learn skill but learn how to spell by dictation.
