On Tuesday, I brought along three copies of novels by Bisi Daniels, Nigeria's leading adventure novelist as I left with the cast and crew of my "Sights and Sounds of Lagos" tourist documentary film for the final locations of the remaining scenes. All the babes rushed for the novels, but the guys did not even attempt to glance through the pages from morning to evening. And the ladies, Franca Aide, Celina Ideh and Cynthia Chima, were very happy when I told them to keep the books.

Over the years since my childhood, growing up in Nigeria, I have seen that Nigerian girls read more novels than Nigerian boys. You will also see more Nigerian women reading books than Nigerian men, especially among the Igbo's and Yorubas. But in contrast, more than 90% of Nigerian authors are men who are among the best writers in the world, including the first black Nobel Prize winner in Literature, the lionized Prof. Wole Soyinka and the first youngest winner of the Booker Prize, the iconic Ben Okri. That means Nigerian women prefer reading to writing.

You are not making sense. People whether good or bad critise people every day esp public figures cos they are the ones most look up to. And their criticism may or may not have anything to do with low self esteem.

Personally, every celebrity that has tampered with his/her skin shouldnt be given too much media attention or celebrated to protect the fragile minds of the people. They more bleached women are allowed public view all the time, the more people would begin to see nothing wrong with it.

What are you saying? Cos she bleached her skin means she doesn't have a life? Bye, won't answer to you! By the way, she was the one who brought that self esteem shìt first not me grin

No dear, you are the one here with a low self esteem. People with a good self esteem don't call other people "shapeless". take a good look at yourself first before you call people names. Rukky's never called you names, and that makes her a woman with a good self esteem and so am I.

Lil kesh is the most wacky musician I had the pleasure of listening to. He doesn't have the voice, zero voice sound, and dude always shout rap. Oh my God, Lil kesh needs to go and sell rat killer and quit music. The only thing that is saving him is the beats, if not he is the pure definition of WACK!

That was the same thing that happened when my cousin sister came to stay with us o, she was 5 at that time. Her farts smells from a thousand miles to locate your nose. It's not funny one bit. When she uses the toilet we all had to run for dear life. 30 minutes after she use the toilet everywhere still smells strongly.

My mom had to give her paper to poo aside, we always makes sure she poo everyday cos she doesn't much and can stay like that for one week.

Oranges helps in doing that, we took her off beans lipsrsealed

cos we didn't wanted to die. After like 4 months she becomes normal. This happened in my house and it's not funny one bit at all.
