Sequel to the news of Toyin Abraham releasing a video of her in the hospital to counter the claim of Lizzy Anjorin that she had her baby the traditional way. Lizzy Anjorin released a video on Instagram to counter Toyin’s claim.

Lizzy Anjorin reiterated that Toyin cooked up the video recently for defence sake and also insisted that she will not tender an apology to her until she changes and stays off her back.

Veteran Musician, 2Baba clocks 44 today, 18th of September, 2019.

Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. Prior to July 2014, he went by the stage name 2face Idibia



2Baba took to Instagram to share a picture of him looking dapper and clean coupled with an inspiring caption that enumerates his ambition of dedicating himself to mobilizing Nigerian youth and engaging political, security and traditional authorities to promote peaceful elections since 2014.

He wrote:

As I celebrate my birthday today, I call for peace across our dear country, Nigeria. Different forms of violence including electoral, banditry, herders and farmers conflicts, kidnapping and terrorism have and continue to snatch the lives of Nigeria’s citizens. Let’s be clear, this is not a salvo to attack the government, I am not a politician but an artist and social rights crusader. I am calling on government (i.e our political leadership, security services etc.); and all citizens (i.e artists, entrepreneurs, media okada riders etc.) to do everything we can and must do to promote and guarantee peace.
On my part, I have dedicated myself to mobilizing Nigerian youth and engaging political, security and traditional authorities to promote peaceful elections since 2014. I have worked with talented youth across Nigeria to reach 62 million people with the message of“elections without violence” as the Ambassador of the Vote Not Fight: Election No Be War campaign. I will be leading the campaign’s efforts to promote peace during the November 16, 2019 governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa States.As Nigerians, we must join hands together to resist violence across our country, in whatever nature in manifests. Government must however take the lead on this, as there are limits to what citizens can do – no matter how well intentioned.
As the November 16, 2019 Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections approach, we must remember that the legitimacy of any government lies with its emergence from a peaceful, free, fair and credible election. I call on Kogi and Bayelsa youth to say NO to politicians who may offer them money to perpetrate violence or buy their votes. Let your conscience lead you. In relation to all forms of violence across Nigeria – we need to remember that there can be no development without peace. We need to make the wise choice for the future as violence erodes our values and kills our people. We must also look out for the vices of hate speech, fake news, misinformation and disinformation which are certified triggers of violence.

It’s no longer news that Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Lizzy Anjorin have been on a battle of words for days on social media, that prompted the both of them to take legal action just to find justice.

In a counter-attack to the video of Lizzy Anjorin accusing Toyin of misleading the public with the news of her having her baby in the UK, but she actually had it in a traditional way, Toyin released a statement that confirms that she travelled to the UK with the intention of having her baby there but had a change of mind and came back because she wanted to have the baby around her loved ones.

Her words:

” Because I trust you people, I decided to have my baby in Nigeria. I actually travelled but I came back. I said I am coming back, let me have my baby in Nigeria because I want to be around everybody”


Toyin with the help of her publicist has now released a video showing her after she welcomed her son in a hospital in Lekki, Lagos.

The feud between Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Lizzy Anjorin seems not to be ending soon as Lizzy has responded in an unexpected manner to Toyin Abraham’s defamatory lawsuit against her.

Lizzy Anjorin has written a petition to NDLEA to investigate the both of them since Toyin has accused her of being a dealer of hard drugs. Meanwhile, Lizzy is with the opinion that Toyin has always being a cocaine user from the post she made on Instagram.

She wrote:

I am used to myopic cracked head and dead, low life with zero achievement sychrophants consoling themselves with lines such as “I have instructed my lawyer to respond, bla bla bla” when weighty allegations and evidence(s) stare them in the face.
By principle, I am an APOSTLE of dignity and respect on social media and by nature I am never going to keep QUIET in the face of EVIL and wickedness. I also belief that whatever rights you have, you must be responsible with them. The fact, that you have rights to have fans doesn’t mean you groom them to commit crime or indulge in anti-social behaviours online.

The gibberish you gave as a reaction is tasteless, classless and uncouth. When you maliciously came up on social media in your usual way to lie against me and subjected my hardwork and personality to untold cyber-attacks with the aid of your followers with deadly, fabricated evidence(s) , , The evil you groomed will consume you soon.
I think the WORLD will soon see that you have no single dignity left in you, hence you could still muster words when a FAN or an account you glorify openly is seen sending secret message to a criminal blogger just to subject your colleague to defamation, cyber-attacks and assaults. You are an example of women trying bring women down secretly.

You accused me of peddling DRUGS and left me with no option now than write a petition to NDLEA to investigate both of US for drug related offences. They must as a matter of fact TEST both of us for drugs and publish their outcome. You and I know you desperately need a high powered rehab before you can stop taking cocaine. And only God knows how many of your followers and fans you have initiated into these substance intake.

While I am using my resources to empower and employ people, you are busy using your followers as human shields to hurt your colleagues and targets. You may fake your personality to them, but we know you. .

Supermodel, Naomi Campbell held her annual Fashion For Relief event at the British Museum on September 14, 2019, in London, England. The event was held during the ongoing London Fashion Week.

Fashion for Relief is a charitable organization founded in 2005 that has raised funds for various environmental and humanitarian causes. It holds events in association with the London-based non-profit organization CARE.

Twitter users have taken it upon themselves to collaborate with the protesters who marched on Monday to campaign for the protection of girls and women in Port Harcourt following the recent killing of a young girl in a hotel.

The incident which happened in a hotel situated in Obo Road, Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State has stirred a lot of reactions among Nigerians both offline and online

An eyewitness, who simply identified himself as Peter said, “The girl is just a teenager, we found her corpse lying with her clothes yesterday evening in the hotel room. Her killer was nowhere to be found. Her hands were tied behind her back with a white cloth, as well as her legs and neck.”

Her death was just one in a series of killings of women in PH hotels in recent time, hence Twitter users are demanding that security operatives should do more to protect women and girls within the city.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, Chuks Enwonwu, while addressing protesters condemned the happenings and also advised young women to shun prostitution as a means to curb this occurrence.

“In as much as societal values are disintegrating, we must go back to try to educate them (women) and discourage them from going into prostitution because that is how they fall victim to these crimes”, he said.

Dammy Krane whose real name is Johnson Oyindamola, was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos by the police today September 16th. He was arraigned on a three-count charge of threat to life, defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.


Dammy was accused to have threatened to attack staff of a betting company, MerryBet, verbally and online after a business deal between them went sour.


Police Prosecutor, Insp. J. I. Enang, told the court that the 27-year-old singer attended a betting competition organised by the betting company and has since been on a rampage after he lost during the competition on July 29th at Cool FM in Lagos. The police prosecutor added that Dammy Krane went on to post a video on the internet accusing the sports betting company of owing him.


“The defendant, however, demanded some money for appearing on the show, the firm disagreed, insisting that the sum was only for the winners.  The musician subsequently breached a contractual agreement with the firm. He also conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by posting audio and a video message on Cool FM 96.9,” Manang said.


According to the prosecutor, the offences contravened Sections 168 (d), 301 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. Dammy Krane's lawyer, Adebayo Oniyelu, thereafter asked the court to grant him bail with a promise that as a public figure, Dammy Krane will not jump bail.


“We humbly apply for the bail of the defendant. Section 35 (5) states that an accused person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. He is a popular musician, if granted bail, he will not jump bail, meanwhile he has been in police custody since Sept. 13,” Oniyelu told the court


The Magistrate, Mrs Folashade Botoku, granted the singer bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum. The case was adjourned till October 11th.

Over the weekend, popular Nigerian Vlogger, Lola OJ, announced she welcomed a child a while back. Lola, however, did not reveal who the father of her child is since the inception of her now 3 months old baby.

Popular English singer-songwriter, Adele and her estranged husband, Simon Konecki are officially divorced and gone their separate ways 5 months after announcing their split.

The couple had always tried to keep their marriage from the prying eyes of the public until there was a separation between them earlier this year, which they also made up together not too long after announcing that they were “committed to raising their son together lovingly.”



The couple had been together since 2011, although much wasn’t known about their relationship as at then, she went on to give birth to their son, Angelo, in 2012. Thereafter, the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony and she confirmed their union during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammy’s.

Adele filed for the divorce in Los Angeles as shown on the court documents, her filing for divorce might however involve the determination of the son’s custody and finance.

Over the past few weeks, there have been xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa which have caused many celebrities, brands and organisations to pull out of any event they had scheduled to hold in South Africa.

Social networking platform, Facebook has also cancelled its annual iD8 event to hold in South Africa over xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals in the country.

Facebook said it was cancelling the event due to ”unforeseen circumstances” as seen from an email sent to one of the scheduled participants of the event.

Lead Actor of the American movie “Fast & Furious”, Vin Diesel, shares a behind the scene video of the production of Fast & Furious 9.

The American actor is currently filming the ninth installment of the street racing franchise, which has grossed more than £4 billion since it began. Filming is taking place in Edinburgh, and Vin’s particular scene today took place on the busy Royal Mile streets in the Old Town.

The Fast and the Furious is an American media franchise centered on a series of action films that is largely concerned with illegal street racing, heists and spies. The franchise also includes short films, a television series, live shows, and theme park attractions. It is distributed by Universal Pictures.

The burial of the former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe who passed away some days ago has been postponed. The burial was earlier scheduled to hold on Sunday in Zimbabwe but is not likely to hold again, according to ZimLive.

Family members of the deceased ex-president confirmed the development to Zimlive. According to Mugabe’s nephew, Leo Mugabe, who is also the family’s spokesman, Mugabe was a chief and he would be given a traditional burial.

Sequel to the Xenophoic attack on Nigerians from the South Africans last week. Many Nigerian youths took an advantage of that event to storm the South African owned mall, Shoprite and stole various goods.

The Nigerian Police Force took drastic steps in search of these looters and some of them have been apprehended. Area Commander of Shangotedo, Gbolahan Olugbemi, said a total of 125 suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack on Shoprite with 90% of the stolen goods recovered.

According to the police, 112 of those arrested were found in possession of stolen items and have been charged to court.
