President Donald Trump took shots at the award winning singer, John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen on the issue of criminal justice reforms in the United States. Trump called John a boring musician and said Chrissy has a filthy mouth.

Trump claims that many people didn’t contribute to the issue of criminal justice reforms in the United States from the initial stage including John Legend and his wife, but are now coming out to take the praise after it has become a success.

American rapper, Nicki Minaj shocked her fans with the sudden news of her retirement from music to start a family.

The American rapper took the news to twitter on Thursday, September 5, 2019, according to her she’s doing it to concentrate on having a family. Nicki who was seen with her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, some weeks ago getting their marriage certificate at the Bev Hills Courthouse in Los Angeles on Monday, July 29, 2019 is obviously not ready to run her music career alongside family responsibilities. However, some of her fans have expressed their hurt by the news they got from their rap goddess.

Following the recent xenophobic attack, many celebrities have taken to social media to condemn the inhuman killings of Nigerian citizens by the people of South Africa.

Nigerian’s Ace Comedian, Alibaba, blames the killing of fellow Nigerians in South Africa on the President for not being able to take resolute actions in recent times on South African activities within the country. In a series of images he shared on his Instagram, Alibaba took a trip down the memory lane of how MTN was charged for defrauding Nigerians but was granted to pay a huge sum of money to bail out following President Zuma’s visit to Nigeria. He challenged the President to take stringent actions on South African businesses in Nigeria as a means to counter the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George has revealed she has been battling a health challenge for many months and even had to undergo a very delicate spine surgery in Abuja recently. The veteran Nollywood actress has however shared photos from her hospital bed this morning to get the public aware of her condition as well as to appreciate everyone who supported her.

She wrote:

"I’ve been battling a spine disease for so many months now, in and out of hospital since January 2019, finally I was told d only solution is a spine surgery, a very delicate surgery that can render me permanently paralysed for d rest of my life if not properly done. I was so scared, the bill for such surgery runs into millions of naira. Long story short, I finally did the surgery In a clinic in abuja called Brain and Spine Surgery Consotium.

I want to say a very big thank u to friends and family who went out of their way to support with d huge surgery bill, I will never forget u for supporting instead of looking for lame heartless reasons and excuses not to help. God bless u all immensely. Who says Brain, Spine and other delicate Surgeries can’t be done in Nigeria? I’m recuperating fine. Help me thank God."

Recall that the residence and office of pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo was searched on Wednesday by detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department(FCID), Abuja, who are investigating the alleged rape against him by wife of popular musician, Busola Dakolo.

According to Daily Sun, the police have also seized his international passport as part of the bail conditions granted to him. He was also made to provide two-level 16 officers with landed property in Abuja, before he was freed on bail.

The report added that the COZA pastor was told to be reporting to the FCID, on a daily basis until the investigation is concluded.

According to a source, “the home of the pastor and his office were searched. They were looking for incriminating documents and other evidence that was revealed by witnesses during the discreet investigation conducted in the matter.”

Following a recent interview with Vanguard, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, called Lagos socialite, Bobrisky, a national disgrace and made it known that he will soon be ruthlessly dealt with.

According to Otunba, he said “He(Bobrisky) started by selling and using bleaching creams, now, he has grown boobs, bums and hips. If a Bobrsiky is doing well with his immoral lifestyle, how do you convince Nigerian youths to do the right thing? Bobrisky has the right, but not within the Nigerian environment.”

Otunba also said there are others like the popular cross-dresser out there and if not properly address, he might form a team and the trend will spread like wildfire. In his words, “This will result in a lot of suicide cases because the typical Nigerian parent would not want to see their child become a Bobrisky.”

Bobrisky has however responded to the DG who called him a national disgrace and threatened to deal with him. Bobrisky responded saying “I heard someone in the Govt talking about me a few days ago. Pls tell him am waiting for him�����. Is then he will know I roll with his boss in the government not someone in his level. So he left other serious issues in Nigeria to address Bobrisky�����. But I popular sha�����”.
