Many citizens have had one or more gruelling experiences with the Nigerian police in which most of them end up being harassed, beaten up or worse killed extra-judicially or through a stray bullet. Given the several accounts of police brutality being reported every other day, many citizens are starting to believe that the Nigerian police are waging war on the people and some are not taking it very likely.

Nigerian artiste, Paul Okoye of the defunct Psqaure, took to his Instagram to share a series of posts ranting and bashing the Nigerian police in what appeared to be that he was referencing a recent police brutality. He put up several screenshots of the victims and labelled the officers as a bunch of illiterates.

Okoye also tagged Lagos police PRO, CSP Dolapo Badmus in his rants and stated that the Nigerian police are disgracing the country while entertainers and entrepreneurs are flying the county’s kit high.

The veteran actress advises Nigerians in diaspora to come home after an experience she had this morning.

She wrote:

Nigerians in diaspora plz come home…belief me God will find you with grace , I know is not easy ,but I wept ���for some people. .

She also mentioned that the Nigeria government should do something on negative comments against Nigerians on social media because worst happens in other countries but never make it to the internet just to safe the image of the country.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has directed its operatives to begin manhunt for people connected with the 77 Nigerians indicted by a Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) investigation on internet fraud.

According to ThisDay, sources within the anti-graft agency said all offices across Nigeria have been placed on red alert over the tracking of these suspected internet fraudsters already indicted by the FBI.

It was also gathered that the operatives were also given directives to hunt down collaborators of internet fraud who are already on the radar of the EFCC across the country. The source said: “All the offices in Nigeria have been placed on red alert to track them.”

It was yet another Sunday in the Big Brother House, which simply defines to the housemates that some of them would be evicted and surely be left with the few others to continue the quest for the ultimate prize of 60 million Naira.

On Sunday, Ebuka announced that Gedoni and Jackye have been evicted from the show. Since last week when Biggie changed the process of determining who gets nominated for eviction, Gedoni and Jackye becomes the 11th and 12th housemate to have been evicted from the show.



Nominations are now team-based unlike before where each housemate can decide who they’re nominating for eviction. The housemates were divided into two teams namely; Icon and Cruisetopia and made to compete, whereby members of whichever team that fails will be up for eviction.

After spending memorable weeks in the house, Ebuka, the host, announced the eviction of the duo on Sunday and were asked to leave the house.

Recall that earlier today, Tacha and Khafi were spotted in the kitchen cooking a large volume of food for a feast with most social media users under the impression that it was to principally to celebrate Esther’s birthday.

However, Tacha has made it more of her twinnie’s birthday celebration than Esther’s which of course has caught the attention of so many social media users. It was evident in her dressing and kind gestures as she could not help contain her excitement over her twin’s birthday celebrations.

Although she was so caught up in the moment, she did not forget to admonish that it was also Esther’s birthday. The reactions from social media users suggest that Esther looked a bit jealous and supposedly annoyed with Tacha stealing the spotlight to prioritize her twin’s birthday even if we are not so sure bad blood exists between the two of them.

Housemates Khafi and Tacha were seen in the early hours of today making preparations for the birthday celebrations. They both took it upon themselves to prepare the food and also organize every member of the housemate to come together for a feast.

However, the housemates were startled when Tacha stepped out in a see-through blue gown which exposed sensitive parts of her body to celebrate her twinnie’s birthday. She also took it upon herself to serve them their food, a kind of mood you do not find Tacha in every other day.

The tragic news about the involvement of Kevin Hart and two other people in a fatal accident broke in the early hours of today. According to the California Highway Patrol, Hart was being driven in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda by his driver, Jared Black, on Mulholland Highway at the time of the accident.

According to reports, the accident happened just after midnight when the driver lost control of the car and it tumbled into an embankment. Black has been confirmed to have also sustained major back injuries but a third passenger was unhurt. Black, who happens to be the fiancé of the third passenger, Rebecca Broxterman, was confirmed not to have been driving under the influence at the time of the crash.

Hart was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Centre and the driver was taken to another hospital, the patrol report said.

Recently evicted housemate, Joe has spoken out for the first time in an interview with BBNaija host, Ebuka where he expressed his opinions about several housemates.

When asked about Gedoni and Khafi’s relationship in the house, Joe described their relationship as a trap. In his words, he stated that Gedoni fell into a trap and got stuck in it. He went on further and stated that Venita genuinely likes Gedoni.

He said: “I think Gedoni just fell into a trap with Khafi and got stuck, but Venita likes him genuinely. You know a man becomes more attractive to a lady when he’s in a relationship. I had the strategy to get in between couples in the game but I started late.”

He was also affirmative in his response to if he deserved the strike from Big Brother after he had provoked Tach. He also spoke about housemates he believes are being themselves in the house, he mentioned Mike and Tacha as the only ones stating that every other person isn’t acting real in the house.

Right after the live nominations, Tacha and Frodd got into a loud hot heated argument following their group task. While they were both throwing words at each other loudly, a very unusual Omashola was spotted in his dark shades, swaying from side to side unbothered by their argument.

A Kenyan gospel singer, Nicah the Queen has faced a serious backlash for supposedly exposing her body in a post she shared on her Instagram page.

The musician uploaded a picture of her rocking a bikini which set her sultry curves and her huge bum to display. Her caption suggested she was trying on the bikini before heading out for a swim. However, she brought down the post following accusations of exposing her body on social media.

“I know it’s not about them but the day before I shaved I got myself a bikini … go swimming or just leave it. It’s never that serious,” the gospel singer captioned the post.
