Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed the ways by which she relieves herself of stress. The actress stated in an Instagram post that to ease stress, she drinks water, sleeps, eat and make sure she gets an orgasm.

She wrote:

”This week has been quite hectic and it has taught me that it’s okay to be tired. More importantly, I consciously thought about ways to destress; so here are some of my fave self care tips:

1. Breathe. Consciously and deliberately.

2. Drink water. Maybe add a slice of lemon and pretend you’re in a spa

3. Sleep.

4. Get an orgasm or maybe 2.

5. And eat.”

A Russian former policeman was convicted on Monday of killing 55 women and one man, bringing the total number of women he is convicted of killing to 77, a court said.

Mikhail Popkov predominantly targeted women aged 18 to 50 in urban areas in the eastern Siberian region of Irkutsk from 1992 to 2007, the Irkutsk-based court said in a statement.

He would meet them casually and flirt with them, the statement said.

“The victims ended up outside of the city…in a forest, cemeteries, roadsides.”

Many of the victims were residents of the cities of Irkutsk and Angarsk, and the town of Usolye-Sibirskoye, the statement said.

Known as the “Angarsk maniac,” his victims included a fellow policeman, Russia’s federal investigative agency said.

Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported that Popkov was motivated by his wife supposedly being unfaithful.

It took law enforcement officers doing a thorough work of analysing unsolved crimes to link Popkov to them, including questioning more than a thousand potential witnesses, the Investigative Committee said in a statement.

As a police officer, Popkov would have had knowledge of forensic practices.

Russian media has reported that many of his victims were mutilated.

“The identities of 17 of his victims have not been determined,” the court said in its statement.

While tabloids have reported that Popkov targeted inebriated woman and prostitutes, the Investigative Committee said his victims were “women of various social status and position in society.”

Popkov was initially convicted three years ago for the murders of 22 women and sentenced to life in prison.

He has been stripped of his rank of junior lieutenant.

Nigerian singer, Small Doctor who was arrested a few days ago for 'illegal possesion' of firearms has explained the circumstances that led to his arrest by the Nigerian Police and described it as a case of misunderstanding.

The singer was arraigned earlier on Tuesday at the Ebute Metta Magistrate court along with the other occupants in his car and was subsequently released.

Small Doctor wrote;

“

It was a case of misunderstanding and everything is settled. My fans need to know that I will not get involved in any illegality. The younger ones look up to me for hope and I will never let them down” he said.

Small Doctor insisted that he had licence to carry a gun, saying that he was stunned when he later read that he was in possession of illegal firearms, “as I said earlier, I cannot be involved in any illegal activity. There is no way I will hold a firearm without having a licence” he added.

Nigerian man declares his sister missing; says she was taken away by 'spirits' from her husband's house

A Nigerian woman identified as Asmau has been declared missing by her brother.

According to Mikailu Yahaya J. Alajimikson, from Zamfara State, his younger sister has a 'spirit problem' and the spirits took her away from her husband's house shortly after she had finished cooking for him two weeks ago.

An Italian prosecutor on Tuesday took the unusual step of criticising far-right Interior Minister Matteo Salvini claiming one of his tweets about “Nigerian mafia arrests” was compromising a Police operation.

Anti-immigrant Salvini, who is also deputy prime minister and a big user of social media, tweeted about a swoop on the Italian Mafia in Sicily and immediately afterwards about the “arrest in Turin of 15 other Nigerian mafia members.”

However, the chief prosecutor in the northern city, Armando Spataro, said in a statement that while there were 15 arrest warrants, they were not all for mafia-related crimes and, most notably, not all the suspects had yet been arrested.

Some of the suspects were “still being sought”, Spataro said, noting that police usually wait for a prosecutor’s green light before releasing operational details.

“In the future it would be better if the minister of the interior avoids making similar statements, or at least checks to avoid any risk of harming ongoing investigations,” Spataro said.

Salvini swiftly retaliated with his own statement that it is “unacceptable to say that the interior minister could harm investigations and jeopardise arrests”.

“If the police chief writes to me at 7:22 am informing me of operations against the mafia and organised crime, as he does regularly, I feel free and honoured to thank and congratulate the police.”

Salvini wished Spataro “a very peaceful retirement in the future.”
