You do realise that the point of the show is to make money and sell more books right? Now, tell me what will be the point of reading the books anymore if they do the show as exactly as the book is?
A lot of whys and whats are omitted from the show (depending on their importance to the story)and the story is kind of changed so that people will buy the books.
Same thing happened with the Harry Potter series and twilight series.
Even noah, exodus, x-men, the flash, etc didn't tell the story as is. What works on print doesn't always work on TV

We need to know the basics:

- Have the parties (The Guy and The Cousin) being in close relationship than other family members over the years?
- Did they grow up together?
- Do they live in the same house over the years?
- Do they have things in common? Such as Likes, Dislikes, Favorite Movies, Favorite Places, Favorite Food etc..
- Has there been any family member living around them ? Or its just the 2 of them for so long?
- Where is the Nuclear family of the cousin?

Possible Solution:
