PunkyVeer: Yeah. It's like they're trying too much to emulate the American thing. Which I also find unattractive, btw. Most guys are just as fake as the females these days. Fake accents, fake timbalands...just fake. Not the rick Ross chain o, like the tiny chain that you girls wear. I hate my neck being bare especially on a casual shirt. But I can't afford a decent chain yet so am just bidding my time. |

sarutobie: my point was/is if you are going to shave off some parts in the story fine by me, but at least leave the 'unshaved' part like it were in the original story..the storyline in the book is interesting enough already, why alter it?? Because that's how adaptations work in literature (most of the time). Also, a few reasons could be -budget...TV is usually on a tighter budget than movies. Novels have more creative storytelling freedom because they have little budget to deal with. CGI is really expensive (ask Nollywood). -mediums... What works in one medium might not work in another. - Money... TV has a larger audience than novels. It will be pointless reading the novels when the show has already said everything the novel will say. Therefore, GrrM makes small money. But by telling them differently, he is making money from both the show and the books. |

Gbola5: And why not ? gj22: You do realise that the point of the show is to make money and sell more books right? Now, tell me what will be the point of reading the books anymore if they do the show as exactly as the book is? A lot of whys and whats are omitted from the show (depending on their importance to the story)and the story is kind of changed so that people will buy the books. Same thing happened with the Harry Potter series and twilight series. Even noah, exodus, x-men, the flash, etc didn't tell the story as is. What works on print doesn't always work on TV This is how it works. |

Gbola5: Even when this happens it still follows the story, though not completely. But changing things even out of that cut part is different, it sucks. These two statements are kind of contradictory. The first admits that they can change the story, while the second says it's not right to change the story. |

Gbola5: You're burbled baubles bore me. Now i think you're a contra. What happened to telling a good story ? Strawman's argument. Telling a good story has nothing to do with what I am saying. A "good story" is subjective (based on opinion). I am just telling him why the stories cannot remain the same. Mention one top novel or whatever in which they changed mediums and the story was the same, just mention one. This is how things are done. That's why they write " based on the novel" in the credits scene. |

Drabeey: Whao, you are welcome here.... I actually feel it as an obligation yo enlighten Ladies on here about rape... yeah rape is real. but do u know what? If you are been raped its still boils down to you. I know many wants my head on this statement.... but before you do hear me out I know at one instance or the other you have been abused or wanted to be abused... have u ever checked if you had anything you have done wrong too? ok, he invited me over and started caressing my breast later he wanted to rape me.. .your fault? you went to a guy's house without enough rigid evaluation of who he might be? Hey sis if he is successful on you, then u are well dealt with.. I met this guy, we exchanged number and we started as friends. He invited me over and I went. .... ma'am u are a fool. why? my Yoruba people will say 'ore kini aja n Ba Ekun se' meaning what kind of friend can a dog and tiger be... yes, you might believe its a normal thing, but it ain't normal when you visit a guy who is your friend without taking other friends along..... its the bitter truth. now, do you think he is a fool? its not a need that girls like syphoning money from their male counterpart.. ok , the last time he took you out, you enjoyed yourself. whao! he spoiled you. lolz, CU's of is generosity you wants to extend the kindness by visiting in a dress to kill outfit. ma'am u are doomed. firstly, is he a philanthropist? even a philanthropist wants something in return. I think he would take advantage of you CU's you have shown him you are giving yourself out, yeah with what you are wearing. I'm yet to see a guy in his right senses wanting to rape a lady who gave him a lot of stress before even saying 'well I might do'.... He asked you out last month and you already visited this week. whao you must be gangraped CU's u are very cheap Who knows maybe you have been sent money many times and you are still demanding like he is your Dad's lose account manager. well that guy kept sending you hefty recharge cards and you think he is a good guy. The more you collect from that guy, the more your value is reduced before him. I was forced to watch some clips that went viral on the internet, where some guys had to rape two secondary students,.. they were actually speaking Yoruba language. and with what I unleashed, those girls were actually caught in a bush behind their school(what were they doing too). All this places are where the bad guys perpetrate their doings. they shouldn't be there too.
another case was a girl gang raped by six guys. also what I decode there was that this girl actually went there on her own and was not abducted there. why? Girls, you need to be careful and not all the time dining with the devil.
on the final note. I don't condone guys raping girls and Im still an advocate of the government creating a center where rapist would be kept.. nonetheless girls needs to guild against rapist who poses in a human cloak..
Now I want to reach to those who would castigate me... itsy own opinion
Drabeey Girls need to do things that will keep off predators and be really careful but it is stupid for blaming girls for getting raped. That's like blaming murder victims for getting killed. |

DDoubleUps: I really need the matured minds in the house to talk about this cause i have been experiecing it and few of my friends too,but the thing is that anytime we talk about it we all come to the same issue, how do we say it without being misunderstood? Does a man life with his wife end as soon as the start having kids? does every outing have to always be with the kids? Do the couple have to give up their own private time and dates together just to make sure the kids are always involved?Really sometimes i feel more like am running a kindergarten than in a relationship and the last straw that breaks my back is putting our 5months baby in our bed every morning and thereby robbing me of the early morning cuddles and the rest of it... how really should this issue be handled? You put the kids first. They didn't ask to come into this world, you made that decision for them so, you are obligated to make them as comfortable as possible. Your kids come before yourself or your wife. |

Romance › Re: I just slept With My Cousin & i Don't Feel Remorse, am I Possessed?(screenshots) by gj22(m): 8:42am On Aug 13, 2015 |
coolsix: I do not think he is possessed. Such cases like this can be handled easily, first:
We need to know the basics:
- Have the parties (The Guy and The Cousin) being in close relationship than other family members over the years? - Did they grow up together? - Do they live in the same house over the years? - Do they have things in common? Such as Likes, Dislikes, Favorite Movies, Favorite Places, Favorite Food etc.. - Has there been any family member living around them ? Or its just the 2 of them for so long? - Where is the Nuclear family of the cousin?
Possible Solution:
- Deliverance!
Deliverance is the only solution as i am wondering which type of sickness or sexual urge will permit someone to sleep with his cousin! Unless he was seduced by the cousin and depending on where he is coming from, when nature presents one with such a grand opportunity what is one supposed to do?
But jokes apart, i think he should see a psychiatrist or psychologist. Because he had consensual sex with his adult cousin? Tell me why he needs psychiatric help when he isn't a danger to himself or anybody else. The only difference between your cousin and the girl you toasted last time is that you are aware she is your cousin. People feel sexual attraction differently and yo don't have to stigmatise them just cause they don't feel it the way you do. Or don't care about these "rules" that have no basis. Unless they intend having a child, they are safe. |

hifaif: You can't just define words anyhow, ma'am. Liking sex a lot may make you a sex addict but doesn't necessarily make you a chronic lover of sex. Chronic masturbation may be an offshoot of an addiction to masturbation, but that doesn't mean they are the same thing.
Imagine masturbating twice everyday but still getting your works done and masturbating so much a day that it interferes with your works. The first is an addiction, the second is chronic. You are partly correct. The first is a habit, not necessarily an addiction. |
Romance › Re: huutfbkoyesghg by gj22(m): 11:50am On Aug 10, 2015 |
ahsekeena: Its healthy to masturbate 2wice everyday
Abeg that's an addiction o jare. For u to masturbate twice a day, that's addiction. And I know that anyone who masturbates that often is a chronic masturbator and being a chronic masturbator means u are addicted. When will ppl stop defining words how they perceive them? You are wrong on soo many levels. Masturbation is called chronic when you do it, it's affecting your life negatively, you know it but you can't stop.Someone could masturbate 5 times in a day and not be a chronic masturbator but someone who does it once a day might be chronic. It all depends on how it affects your life. Masturbating 2ice a day doesn't automatically make it addiction. It might just be habit. all chronic masturbators are addicts. "In the vast majority of situations masturbation is completely healthy and concerns about chronic masturbation are unwarranted (and more related to guilt than anything else). But for some people the amount they are masturbating causes significant distress, and in those cases the behavior could be considered to be chronic masturbation. There is no specific diagnosis for chronic masturbation, so there is no simple test to take to figure out if you’re masturbating too much. But here are some questions you can ask yourself, and some circumstances when masturbation may in fact be a problem for you." ahsekeena: I don't believe it! Why would one who has a healthy and active sexual life masturbate? Why? Just tell me?
If u are an addict, ur sex life is either non existent or unhealthy. Eeew. Whether you believe it or not, is your problem. I know guys and girls who do it often. They are in relationships and even their partners know and are okay with it. Some people do it to manage their high sex drive, some do it because they can't have sex. Like I said, if it doesn't affect other areas of your life negatively, it's not a bad thing. |

Its ok if its just once in two months or 3months, but every day? That's craaazy! WTF. People do it a few times a day every day. And they still have a healthy sexual life. What the fvck is the point in masturbating once in 2 months? It's bad when it becomes a habit that starts affecting other areas of your life negatively. |

BraniacX: But in this particular case, khaleesi as she is known is not unknown to the dothoraki as she was once wife to the mighty khal Drogo who as khals go was very famous (being undefeated) among the Dothoraki and also her fame as the dragon queen of slaver's bay would have made her easily recognisable in most places in essos. All that will just make her story known. It doesn't make her recognizable. Don't forget that those might not be Drogo's dothraki. They might have her description but might not know what she looks like. Stories travel far and wide but not the faces attached to those stories. They have no camera or Internet so, unless you introduce yourself, people might not know who you are (unless they have seen you personally). The slavers didn't even know who tyrion was despite him being very popular as the half-man is a a womanizer. |

BraniacX: I can only speculate on this, but daenerys removed her ring identifying her as a khaleesi threw it to the ground and stamped on it when the riders were approaching her.....any ramifications or significance as to this behaviour? I have no idea. It's common for important people to try to hide who they are when being kidnapped until they know what they are up against. It's not like they have Internet in Westeros to just Google someone. My best guess is, she just did it to hide her identity /importance. |
