cao: Actually, the ripper counts, since they use specific rip methods to give you quality downloads. Eg YIFY gives you quality 720p & 1080p mp4s downloads. MrKickAss used to do quality 720p & 1080p size friendly mkvs, with the occasional 5.1 sound mix. aXXo's downloads were always quality, that people used to upload fakes with his name attached, to boost their downloads. That's not it. In cinema (movies, shows etc) when they are pirated, there are different methods of pirating (I call it rip method). There are, off the top of my head, telesynch, cam, cam rip, hd rip, bdrip, bluray rip etc. This is what defines the quality of the pirated movies. Bluray rip is the highest quality where the movies are ripped from a Bluray disc (I think) that's why it takes months for it to show up because they have to wait for it to be released and anything below Hdrip is just painful (I think cam is the one that they use a recording device to record it while it's being shown in the cinema ). The pirating methods are usually written in the title. Ofcourse resolution matters a lil bit but it's the pirating method that defines the quality. A 720p Hdrip is always better 1080p camrip movie or a 4k telesynch movie TL;DR... A 1080p movie can be shittier than a 720p movie |

Vyntra: those are film tricks,e.g the scene wen a woman's car falling from hovering part of sokovia was unnecessary, experienced directors know how to cover obvious scene of excessive cgi, check avatar for example, dat movie cgi is 10/10.go and read why they might drop joss whedon and recruit the russo brothers for the next avengers instead Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is the application of computer graphics to create or contribute to images in art, printed media, video games, films, television programs, commercials, videos, and simulators. The visual scenes may be dynamic or static, and may be two-dimensional (2D), though the term "CGI" is most commonly used to refer to 3D computer graphics used for creating scenes or special effects in films and television. So technically, going by the actual definition, film tricks are still cgi. Except you want them to actually raise Slovakia thousands of feet up and drop a car from there. Then let sango fly by and save the person. |

SIRcumalot: How do you guyz spot bad cgi sef ? I have seen a lot of movies, still I can't tell the difference between cgi and whatever the alternative is. Any non-real thing that looks unrealistic or stupid is bad CGI. Watch older movies and you will see them e.g the hulk movies, star wars, superman movies, green lanterns mask, the last airbender etc. In their time, the CGI was probably out of the world. I remember being impressed with star wars cgi considering the year the film was made. Bad ass CGI e.g avengers 2's hulk, real steel, avatar (james cameron) |

moneyallowed: Not sure the app was the problem tbh. There was a lot of cgi in the movie, some of it looked awesome-Quicksilver and Ultron, some of it looked poor- Hulk. If the quality you downloaded wasn't that great then yes, another version from yify would be better I disagree. Hulk was the best CGI that movie had. It's probably because of versions you watched. I don't think quick silver was cgi tho, just video editing. Ultron and Veronica were def CGI. I guess it depends on the actual meaning of CGI. Too lazy to look it up. |

moneyallowed: Yea that's what happens when the bad guy is good at his job. You fall under the spell and begin to see things their way. Same thing happened to me with Fisk, at one point he made more sense than Murdock. Loki is a bad guy though, make no mistake. All the people whose deaths he was responsible for in New Mexico & New York would agree. He's a scheming, conniving son of a gun that cares only for himself, guy almost destroyed all of Jotunheim just to make a point. The deal he made with Thanos in Avengers is how he got hold of the Sceptre so Loki's definitely playing fiddle to a higher bad guy but is a rotten egg for sure. God only knows what he's done with Odin and what he'll do to Thor when he returns to Asgard The perfect example of an anti-hero for me would be The Punisher. A guy with good intentions who does bad things in pursuit of a good cause, like that. Any means neccessary kinda guy. Loki doesn't have any good intentions At what point did fisk make sense to you? Fisk is a drug lord and he kills people. How does importing drugs into a city make the city better? |

stillreal: Yes i do, it brought nothing to the story. Trank just wanted to get Michael B Jordan into the movie since they worked together on chronicle . If you are gonna change 50 years of comic book history, at least have a good reason to. To be honest not really bothered about Fox having F4 rights, apart from wanting Silver Surfer and Dr Doom in the MCU, they can keep it. All i want is X-men back to Marvel, but obviously wont happen for a very long time. It's not today that they started changing casts all in the name of having a "colorful cast". Its like they are trying not to be racist. Pete Ross in Smallville was black for no reason at all. It's kind of annoying. |

I don't blame you, it's the people before you I blame. The same people that brought you up. I mean, your mum is useless to the society. She is just your dad's sex object and a breeder. All she does is sit at home and pop out children every now and then. I bet if I go to your house right now, your dad is humping her right now so that she can farm more children. She is always in a doggy position, she never leaves and her children just suck on her breasts the same way puppies suckle on their mum. |

koife: This story is factual and can be verified, especially with the normal thinking that when somebody dies, earthly things are no longer known to him.
However, the death of an Akwa Ibom indigene, living in Aba and his subsequent act in the morgue shows that the world is full of mysteries.
Reports emanating from Aba had it that the late Akwa Ibom citizen died in Aba, last Tuesday, atop a prostitute in a brothel.
The corpse was later deposited in a mortuary in Aba awaiting investigation and collection for burial probably by his relations.
However, on Thursday, when another corpse arrived, the mortuary attendants were shocked to find the corpse of the man from Akwa Ibom on top of another female corps.
Initially, the attendants were scared and took to their heels and later came back to put the corps apart.
To their surprise, the penis of the man was erect and stiff as if he was alive. http://dailytimes.com.ng/corpse-sex-another-aba-morgue/ Common sense will tell you that a man's p3nis goes erect when rigour mortis kicks in. |

He introduced me to his family and friends as the lady he wants to marry. But my problem with him is that he gets angry unnecessarily, he doesn't apologize even when he is at fault, I always apologize. When he is angry, he doesn't pick my calls or respond to my chat. He always speak harsh words to me. He traveled since on Friday but has refused to pick my call. He said I should let him be but I can't because I love him so much. His phones are all off. Pls I need your advice on how to deal with his attitude towards me.
Cc: Lalasticlala, u r not sure. Farano darling, kindly help me move this thread to front page. Talk to him, hear his side of the story. 4 years is too much to throw away. But don't stay in an unhappy relationship. It's still your choice though. Next time he is at fault for something, let him know and don't apologise (unless it's a tiny thing). Just think about it. Haha. You really think he had no idea they were gonna tell it differently? Lol. It's a contract, if he didn't want them to tell it differently, he would have told them not to.
He would know that not everything can be adapted. Now he has nothing to do with the show. Ofcourse he'll act professional about the whole thing.
Not sure the point you are trying to make here because I am still hooked
Cause they we're telling a good story. If the story was crap we wouldnt watch it, that's my point, for you said " You do realise that the point of the show is to make money and sell more books right? "
Not sure what this has to do with anything
Its the story, not to make money, that just comes. Might be the point of some shows is to make money.
Am not sure why this is even an argument.
http://www.writingstudio.co.za/page62.html A quote from the above article..(the article was cited by Wikipedia so don't think it's some jobless blogger that wrote it) @bolded 1) that's how it works in the industry. Adapting a book into a screenplay means to change one (book) into another (screenplay), not to superimpose one onto the other. @bolded 2) you really have no idea how contracts work do you? Or copyright laws. Or literature. Let me just briefly say that if he didn't want them to change anything, he would have told them not to. It's his work and he owns all the rights to it. @bolded 3)lol. Don't be in denial man, the main reason is to make money. Telling a good story just happens to be the way to do it. @bolded 4) haha. So you think HBO, D& D, GrrM made all this happen primarily to tell a good story? Lol. It's about the money first. Anyway, I don't feel like arguing this anymore so I am just going to quote myself again. gj22: http://www.writingstudio.co.za/page62.html A quote from the above article..(the article was cited by Wikipedia so don't think it's some jobless blogger that wrote it)
Adapting novels A novel usually takes place inside the character's head. A play deals with the language of dramatic action. A screenplay deals with externals, with details - the ticking of a clock, a child playing in an empty street, a car turning the corner. Up to 25% of all feature films have been literary adaptations. After seeing the film version of a well-known novel, most of us have commented that the book was better, or different in some part. Adapting a book into a screenplay means to change one (book) into another (screenplay), not to superimpose one onto the other. A novel usually deals with the internal life of someone, the character's thoughts, feelings, emotions, and memories occurring within the mindscape of dramatic action. In a novel you can write the same scene in a sentence, a paragraph, a page, or chapter, describing the internal dialogue, the thoughts, feelings, and impressions of the character. Gbola5: You keep saying its how its done, have you seen LoTR have you read the books. Yeah some are hard, but you should try as much as possible not to stray away from the story. It was their choice to stray. Saying they should have tried as much as possible is implying that they had no choice. Afterall do you think GrrM would give them the rights too his books if he knew they would deviate so much. Do you think they said so themselves. You might say, but GrrM writes for the show, he's part of the writers, but check out his ssm on that. Haha. You really think he had no idea they were gonna tell it differently? Lol. Gbola5: Was talking of that pic. Even if they cut it into a movie, why dont they follow.the cut part, is what im saying. Because that's not how adaptations work. 99% of the time, the story is changed to a degree to maximise profit or for whatever reason. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any adaptation that has stayed true to its source material. It is The way it works. |
