Call of duty black ops 3... no campaign mode for previous gen.
Only current gen and PC will have campaign mode.
I personally do not care since I don't really play campaign mode but it's sad that the death of previous gen has begun. |

pryd: Young man, what do you think you're talking about? Didn't you see the part where I stressed why he chose to offer his seat to a girl?! Lol. That was his choice, the girl didn't tell him she was weak. He made the assumption. Your argument is still invalid. |

pryd: When your male colleague offers you his seat on a bus because he considers you weak to stand for too long; though there are other guys standing, do you reject the seat? no you gladly accept his offer. Tomorrow at work an issue springs up and you're trying to lecture the same colleague on gender equality; do you think he'd take you serious?
What you "feminists" want is not equality, what you actually want is selective equality. Your argument is invalid because if he offered the same seat to a guy, the guy will gladly take it too. It does not follow. |

BeastOfNoNation: I don't 100% agree with your opinion. I definitely think some degree of modesty is important but rapist will rape no matter what in Saudi Arabia where women are covered from head to toe, there is still rape. They manage to blame the woman and say her ankles tempted them. So let's focus more on stopping and punishing rapists. I live in Canada and the immodest dressing here is on another level! But rape is taken very seriously so the rate of sexual assault here is pretty low. No, don't get me wrong, I am not saying there is an excuse to rape someone. I am saying in other to avoid getting raped, you need to take precautions. If you don't take precautions and get raped, you have yourself to blame. You as a human being have a responsibility of protecting yourself from danger. If you don't protect yourself, who is to blame? |

Honestly, I don't blame guys that think this way. It's their parents I blame and the parents before them.
As a guy growing up, I was always taught basically that girls are inferior. It's as I grew up I realised that that is very wrong.
Even girls are taught to be inferior by their parents.
It's sad really. It's very difficult to change an idea that you grew up believing in.
Nigeria is a very backward country and we still hold on to traditions and culture that are very archaic. Tell me how a man will not see his wife as inferior after he technically BOUGHT her from her parents. |

BeastOfNoNation: To tell you the truth, I don't think she was generalizing at all. From what I've seen, there are people who unfortunately believe that rape is a woman's fault especially on Nairaland. And also a lot of guys do feel that most girls can be bought over with money. Then after attracting chicks via money, they start complaining of golddiggers. Shaking my head lolll Rape is not a woman's fault but let's tell the truth, if you leave your house and don't lock the doors you are going to get robbed. Sure, you leaving your door unlocked doesn't give anybody the right to enter your house but you could have avoided the whole thing by locking the door. The same thing applies to rape (the one caused by indecent dressing). There is no excuse for someone raping another person but you can avoid it by dressing proper. |

ekemini606: Have u ever considered what is like to manage one, let alone multipe wifes? Dont answer. The men dnt always benefited as you want to believe. Like i said, society was the winner, not individuals
If I were u I would be worried about your fellow women. Because one of the reasons for polygyny, was that any woman who is not married, constitute a threat to those who are. Need I explain that as well. Lol. I am guy dude. It was kinda easy (in those days) to manage multiple wives. Women were very submissive then. They did whatever their husbands told them to. Also, it was kinda the price to pay for wanting a party every night Don't talk like we are doing them a favour and also, more wives meant more children which was a big deal then cos they could help in the farm or some sh1t like that. |

I don't see why non-religious folks partake in anything religious anyways! Because marriage is not a religious thing. It is a social/cultural thing. It means different things in religion, law and culture. But saying it is solely a religious thing is being naive. |
Romance › Re: Paradox Of Polygamy by gj22(m): 8:01pm On Sep 20, 2015 |
ekemini606: First, polygamy wasn't design to favour or punish any particular individual. With polygamy everyone loose._but society. Demographically, there are more women than their are men to go round them. If you then decide to pair them(monogamy) their centainly would not be enought men to go round. IThis is the problem women are facing today. It often called " Flipside of monogamy"
Its harsh to say, but with monogamy, the majority of women would not be married. This is assuming it's all women that want to get married. The world or even Nigeria is not as it was, marriage is no more a must. Would like to see a source for your demographic tho Let's not kid ourselves. Polygamy began because some guy wanted to have his way with more than one woman. |
Romance › Re: Paradox Of Polygamy by gj22(m): 7:53pm On Sep 20, 2015 |
MrsChima: I disagree. The man is still able to explore and sample in the name of polygamy.
According to some biblical logics if you are married when you married the second or third times, it is not valid according to the eye of the spiritual world.
I didn't mean to bring religion in it but marriage is a religious/spiritual thing. How so? Tell that to the pagans that get married, or to the people that only get married in court. Why do you people always want to make everything about religion? |

Worst comic book movies
Superman 4-Nuclear man with radioactive claws , biggest joke ever
Cat woman-couldn't make it through 10 mins , just awful and don't get me started on that costume.
Batman and Robin - Bat nips , bad jokes, Dumb Bane, Bat girl , Campy , it goes on. Funny thing is i still watch it every time it comes on, more like a comedy to me.
Superman returns - Boring and super baby I totally forgot about cat woman. |

If a man was the main aim of being in school then Dora, Ngozi and other ladies won't be who they are today While I don't really agree with his point, you MIGHT just be among the select few that don't go with the trend. The thing is that women are brought up to depend on men. It's a sickening reality of this country. I argued this in a feminism thread once. The problem isn't really the girls, it's their parents and the parents before them. We need to tell our daughters that they can be their own person. They don't need a man |

IamAtribalist: Here is a plausible explanation for you:
Intelligence and creativity are developed in the crucible of competition and enterprise. Men are generally intelligent and creative because they have to. A man has to make money to survive so he must learn a trade, get an education or hustle whichever way. Also, a man who has no money must learn to be creative in order to get the attention of the opposite sex (aka women). Now women have not develop intelligence and creativity for the same reason. A woman does not need to work to survive. All she needs is a man (a few men) who will take care of her with the understanding that she spends some quality time with him. Also, women don't have to be funny or intelligent to woo men - they only have to wear dresses that emphasize their curves and bussoms and men will come a running. So there you have it. Men are intelligent because they don't have a choice. Women are stupid because they don't need to be intelligent to survive. Get it? Wow. This sounds like a really PLAUSIBLE explanation. Bae is always like buy me this, buy me that, your are not romantic, make me laugh.... I be clown? If you are looking for someone to make you laugh, go date Akpos na |
Romance › Re: How Can I Know About His Sexual Status by gj22(m): 11:17pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
nlfan: Dear NLers
I am in a no sex relationship with this amazing young man, he is cool and has everything I wanted in a man.
Apart from him, have always been in a no sex relationship, the last man I dated, who died in the ill fated Dana Air crash was also in a no sex relationship with me but he was more vibrant emotionally, like he will hug me tight, hold me and look into my eyes, roll his hands over me and kisses me too and sometimes I notice he will be so turn on, just that we have decided we want to wait and sometimes he will say baby i'm so turn on but I can handle it.
Now the issue I have with this one I am dating now is, he will not do any of that, all he does is look at me passionately, and if he must touch me, he will just hold my hands and play with my fingers, he can stare at me the whole day and gist with me, but I have never seen him at the point where he was turn on, whether in his face or actions, he is just there.
I know he is God fearing and can afford not to be turn on, but I am so scared, have slept in his house before, we were just like blood siblings, cook together eat and off he went to his room, no emotions or maybe a kiss to say good night and stuff, it was so neutral I feared he might not like sex or romance at all or maybe he is not all right.
Sometimes I want to bring up gist like, how far did you go with your ex, what is the most naughty thing you have done in a relationship or for love, and he will go like... I came back from work, I didn't have a car then, so I trek all the way to her house to cook for her.
And I ask, what's your most memorable sex experience, and he replied baby good night, this is not you so don't bring up the fake self, you've been talking too much to your girl friends lately I guess.
How do I get to know all these about him, have starved myself enough of sex to please God, and to be a good girl my mother asked me to be and cannot "CANNOT" and will not be able to stand a slow or bad sex experiences in marriage, the thought of this is driving me crazy This is one of the reasons why sexual relations and cohabitation is really encouraged in a relationship. Am not saying you should have the actual sexual intercourse but a few blow jobs or hand jobs won't hurt. You have to make sure you are compatible sexually. You don't wanna get married and find out your partner has sexual problems. |

The first Blade/X-men 1 was responsible for the resurgence of comic book movies after Batman and Robin killed it. Blade 1 and 2 rocked, blade 3 Haha. Batman and Robin.
