Kingdolla: Abeg una wey dey use CNG here what's the pros and cons. What encourages people:you save a lot of money against petrol (this is the main selling point of CNG). What might discourage you:a) It will alter the smooth performance of your engine and you will notice it while driving. b) The installation will have them tamper with the factory setting of your engine in the sense that, they would have to create a CNG nozzle for gas supplies to your engine. 4 CNG nozzles for 4 plugs car. 6 CNG nozzles for V6 vehicles, so that you can easily switch from fuel to CNG. To me, this is putting alot of work on the engine and might want to get tired out faster. Though, you will definitely gain from installing it before any gbege go likely happen. c) limited number of CNG stations and locations. When I first saw a CNG kitted car physically at my mechanic's place, what me I observed won't even make me think of converting even if na free of charge. The engine bay that houses the CNG supply lines is very discouraging. A lot of bypassing and connections, and all put on the engine. Nahhhh, I wouldn't wanna do that. However, I've seen many vehicles with the CNG. Looks like it's growing sha. Much respect, boss. |

Make the brother carry on. I did mine since last year and I never for once had issues with police/FRSC/VIO, apart from "wind down make we see inside". I've only had one rider (last year) who refused to enter after I was delayed for almost 15mins. I just smh for her. Much respect, boss. |

Even here in Lagos, I have renewed my Lagos documents and I didn't collect the original copies, I just print out the scanned copies and I'm good to go...the man kept reminding me to come for it...car wey I don sell since Ooh, that's a good one. @the bold - inside life. Much respect, sir. |

sunnymighty: Bro. Abeg you have an.idea of the country cost of Tokunbo shock absorber. I don't want to refill again. I have no idea of the toks. Why not just get new ones nah? I changed all my four absorbers mid last year, all cost 78k (new) + 6k for my mechanic to help add 1inch on all to raise dem up small. I can't remember how much for each of them, but they totalled 78k sha (all the four). Much respect, boss. |

Pearl1910: Really there is no offense except they know u are doing ehailing with it. In which case, it is hackney permit they will require of u. The bottleneck has always been from d ehailing coys. But if they no longer request for Lagos roadworthiness certificate to register and drive in Lagos then to hell with Lagos State plate number. Just look for someone living in one of the remote states, they will register and send all ur documents via waybill, same thing for yearly renewal. U don't need to travel anywhere.
NB: I learnt Abuja also does vehicle inspection like Lagos before Roadworthiness certificate is issued. Ooh, that's good then. The brother that asked about this originally should see this. Make dem RS & VIO no go run am street. @the bold, I don't think this is totally best to do. Before you send money to someone to do it for you over there and have it waybill to you, you have done your stuff here and dusted. The link you have over there fit mess you up. Make subsequent renewal should just be done here to avoid stories. Make him just dey run him things here by himself. Much respect, sir. |

Kaymaxi2222: I don't think vio or FRSC can hold him for anything, are you saying If my plate is registered elsewhere I can't drive in Lagos cos there is no way they can know how long I have been in Lagos or I just came in to do something in Lagos They can be funny at times. Well, subsequent renewals would be done in Lagos sha. Person sha no fit head to the other state because him wan renew him RW. Much respect, sir. |

@Dav1002 thank you aswell I appreciate your response. Please do you have a specific car brand I can look at and for what price bracket, as of Corolla it’s also way over 5m the best one I saw that passed inspection was at 5.5m Dem say Honda Civic 03 - 07 is the best alternative to Corolla and cheaper. 4m max should get you a perfect civic, I think.
