That's how I picked a request yesterday going to Fadeyi. I explained to the rider that the app was wrong in its calculation because Google maps still think that there's a road through yabatech back gate.

The ride was 2500 and I asked her to pay 4500, she said I should step out of my car, hold my chest and shout I'm a thief 3 times grin

Lol. When I've gotten another trip on Surge on Bolt.
See drama. grin grin grin

indrive has been doing that shit lately, I don't know if it is intentional Ni or something cos this season of traffic drivers will want to use less of indrive and more of bolt
I contacted their support team concerning that continuous error and they said maybe I should update my phone OS to the latest version (me that my OS is up to date) and delete-and-reinstall the app, which I did, to be sure.
Still the same.
I no even bother contacting them again, cos it's either they intentionally removed traffic updates on some ride orders, or one would keep reading the same message from them.
They're not serious.

I won't even advice anyone to stop at any bus stop to pick or drop passengers, I could remember 2022, I think that was 1st or 2nd month of my HP deal, these rider just asked me to drop him at that obanikoro bus stop while I take his loads to the destination on the app, from nowhere, those lasma just came and drove my car to their office, they gave me ticket of 50k just like that. Imagine a whooping 50k back in 2022.

if not for YeyeGbami, will never forget how he came through for me then.

anything drop off or pick up at the bus stop during the daytime, stay away pls, it doesn't worth the stress.
Na bus park him talk oooh.
That bus park, no be to drive in (off the road)?
I don pick riders there two times during my bolt period, e don tey small.
But definitely, everybody should avoid bus stop pick up as possible as they can.

With Bolt adopting the fastest finger method, I hereby declare Indrive the KING and market leader of ehailing business in Lagos.

I have never seen a competitor lose the originality and business identity as Bolt. Bolt has literally copied Indrive in everything but 10% commission.

Now that they have introduced fasted finger, can they just remove the acceptance rate? Because I wonder what determines the acceptance rate.

Is it the trips that I did not accept and nobody else accepted it too or what?
Indrive came with a ground-breaking method that no one ever thought of, and keyed their commission @10%.
To beat dem go dey hard.
They're even kinging the game self (smiles).

Ibadan is not for e hailing service it's a total waste of time coupled with frustration and regret. Tin sized cars called Micra are everywhere with ridiculous fees, okada and Keke littered everywhere too and the funniest part, they have no restrictions at all. You will not see more than 3k,2k order coupled with bad roads ...I was there I ran away
Why are you running?

As the fuel price is rising, I hope these ehailing apps will increase these fares too! Me I don strike o. @Omoapena @ Giltronix @Pearl
Those e-hailing companies no dey quick respond to change in fuel prices when it has to do with increasing.
There might be a little or no significant shortage in net profit, but at least, these e-hailing companies need to stop pretending that they're not aware of the situation in the country.
If they adjust fare prices to the current reality, all of us go know nah.
But you see these people ehn, they are more concerned about not losing riders, hence, keeping fare prices low. angry

I think drivers are the ones enabling these guys. Imagine 1k ride on Indrive. We've gone back to pre-subsidy removal era when fuel was sold for 198/litre.

How will any rational human being take such trips. I mean, you'll have to drive to where this person is, wait for them to come out, take the disrespect and risk of taking them to their destination, sometimes, even carry heavy load or many riders and collect such amount of money?
I think Indrive, Bolt and Uber are in the Tom and Jerry race of who's going, and not going to lose customers/riders. So, they keep the prices low as much as they can to retain riders.
Indrive is even worse - they give riders more reduction power.
I saw a trip that brought 13.5k, the rider cancelled and reduced it to 9k.
Like, what tha eff, bro!
Omoh, if man no use brain, na pop corn money person go dey make.

@Omoapena and Glithronix, a very good evening to you and to everyone on this platform. I took my Car (Camry 03) for routine maintenance I wish to know if this quotation is fair enough

Shaft seal (2) #7,0000
Oil filter. 2,500
Engine Coil 15,000
Gear filter. #7,000

Riweryer (according to them) grin
Side mirror boting #6,000
Power window boting #5,000

AC
Compressor coil /Oil seal. #18,000
Flushing of the system #5,000
Gas. #10,000
Compressor Oil #6,000
Blower filter. #5,000

Once again the Car is Toyota Camry (Big Daddy) 03 Model.

Others can also drop their input. Thanks in anticipation.
Baba, wetin happen nahh?
You wan rebrand the car to Tokunbo ni?
Abi why the list come long like this? grin
Joking..... smiley
However, from the list, I've only got coil (last year Dec.) for that 15k [toks]. If the price still remains the same, well, it's a good news. Make e sha be toks, not new one.
Then other things, I have no idea except if I go ask my mechanic.
I've only done servicing of my cooling system once (still last year) and I paid 15k or so, for everything.
So, I have no idea how much each item cost, except if I ask the AC guy.

@Omoapena bosses i also have one last question and its below.

How many KM is the least advisable for me to pick a passenger?

Can I always increase the charges to the highest price in InDrive even when they bring up to #400/KM or /#500/KM ? Because most riders reject it whenever i do it. InDrive offers per KM is tiring, this is what I do but most people rejected it. I just want to know if am or am not wasting my time increasing ride fees to riders.

What are list of areas to target by TIME ? to avoid stuck in traffic and burned fuel. I burnt fuel in lekki on Tuesday cry 😔

ALSO please tell me about my test SHEY i pass angry
@Your last paragraph, though. Why you come add angry face? grin

Btw, as time goes on, you will find a way to increase your earnings and not doing much.

To your question about increasing fares of orders;
*** first, note that Naira/Km doesn't really count on indrive, what counts is TIME to destination and the amount. If you're looking at the naira-per-kilometre, you might be doing much work and earning low and you will definitely be burning fuel.
So, you MUST first ignore the Naira/Km when you're on Indrive.

*** secondly, you might be left alone for long if you're increasing charges to the highest price, cos riders will definitely ignore you.
But, there are some particular locations you will be and when order comes in, you can increase the charge to the penultimate price (not the last - highest), and rider will pick you.
I can identify orders that will be picked if I increase the price (75% of the time). I use PU point and destination to determine.
With time, as you work and accumulate experiences, you will be able to identify those orders.

*** Lastly, always avoid traffic when you're using indrive. you're doing well. You will get better with time. smiley
