On the contrary it's good and not bad when more drivers leave bolt. When as a bolt rider you can't get a ride on bolt because all the drivers are on another app, you'll join that app because you have no choice.

It's hard for Uber to lose base. They have a more international pedigree than bolt and not as high-handed.
There's sense in this. smiley
We should be expecting more riders.

No harm in debating some issues here, bro, there has just been a general toxicity on the thread, that isn't helpful.

You may not realise it, but even the dashboard you shared weakens your argument.

As long as I remembered and I think you've been on this thread for some years, you've grossed approx 1M every month (even when petrol was less than N100 a litre). So even with a 25% cut, you do approx 750k at least.

At >N600 per litre, you still do N1M and I understand even Indriver has raised their prices but not as high as bolt/uber, which suggests you do less volume. I also predict if indriver attempts to match pricing on bolt/uber, they will get less riders.

Lastly, at the current projections (assuming 10% service charge) , you are doing 900k but at fuel of N600 per litre. Your true profit (after all costs) is probably less than when petrol prices were lower.

So the argument that the fuel increase is not good for drivers is still sound in my opinion
cool cool cool

I say something on this thread, many of you don't take it, but will always find a way to twist my words later.

Ever since the fuel increment I've always maintained that the effects on driver will be less if they dump bolt that charges 25% and port to indrive and pay 10%. I've also harped since last year on the decline of bolt. I stated why and keep showing everyone how it's easier to gross 40 - 45k daily on indrive and not bolt.

How you listened to a video from a non-active driver, while ignoring my facts as an active daily driver, and use his limited facts as evidence against what I know to be true, may not be fully understood by me.

What you guys do on this thread is no longer my business. I asked everyone who wants to make 40 - 45k daily to mail me and be added to a telegram group where they can hear me out without being distracted by noise from this thread. They did and they see what I say is true. This is my current week. This is my own fact. No depleting demand from my end. You can argue as usual, but I'm done debating you guys.

Mon - 45,600
Tue - 40,100
Wed - 40,800
Thurs - 41,600
Fri - 45,200

Offlines 12,400

Total 225,700 commission 10% I'm yet to drive today and tomorrow.

You can all continue with your pity parties. I'll no longer be part of them.
Baba, abeg don't encourage people to come on indrive. If all these people converge to indrive fully, ahhh, drivers go plenty pass passengers oh.

preferably a blue or orange color display light inside this car.

Lol… you didn’t mention lateness. Bolt has harsh penalty, why I said till indrive gain ground. Wetin indrive show me for January, they almost turn me to mumu. Yastiku go unblock me mistikatu go block me. Like they keep doing the block and unblock for what I don’t even know. I had to drop the account for months. Just signed in one day to see I can use it.

Some people don’t like Indrive till today, they feel they are porous and will rather take Bolt. I’ve used Bolt well for the past few weeks and I can tell you margin between riders. Indrive riders no deh even dash money, but you will see enough take me back riders on Bolt, so your chances of doing offline is much. Regardless Indrive is still better, that Bolt commission can suck blood.

Double resperk!
Maybe dem see you as customer dada ni. grin
Na true sha. Consistent lateness dey among which is the only thing I hate about indrive.
Before, drivers used to have the choice of choosing time to arrive PU point, but since they fixed the time, I hate that part.
Guess that's why they will sometimes add extra 1mins to your time of arrival.
For instance, if driving to pick the rider is 4mins, indrive will add 1 mins for you as grace, the time will start counting down from 5mins.
Well, na to keep up be the koko.
God no go shame us. ✊

I have said it here that Indrive will be worst than Bolt if they gain ground. They have use my eyes to see Shege. Block without telling you. If you like mail from now to forever they won’t reply. I start to fear them when they remove my 4500 from my account. I want to believe the owner is not aware of all these sha. But once someone cancel without you calling them, complain immediately if they remove commission from such trip.
Roberto Popedinho, this is coming from you?
Ahhhh, I think say you don already become jagaban in using indrive before ni ooh. lipsrsealed
*Indrive won't block a driver without any notification.
Consistent cancellation is the major reason indrive will block a driver in which you must have been warned severally before action is taken on your cancellation.
*who say indrive never gain ground already? Talk about Uber, Bolt... The next is indrive.
Indrive penalty vs bolt's own, which one is harsher? tongue
Abi, make we all move back to bolt only?
Nahhh. Make all of una leave indrive for us.
Indrive is very useless.

Bro forget this line of thought. Indrive is a crook now. It's been happening.

Yesterday, I didn't call the rider, just chat and she called me herself, halfway to her. Indrive deducted commission as soon as I got to the pickup, same time the stup.i.d girl canceled.

They didn't add it to refund tab. I've been sending mail since yesterday, no response.

They did same twice during sallah, I got it back after series of mail. I'll surely get this 600 back!
Well, I won't say you're not right.
I've experienced it like 2 times when I was new to indrive. I knew it was me still learning the scope of how indrive works.

LOL, further to this I also notice something.. Usually I used btw 4k to 6k as commission weekly but at a time I notice I was entering 7 to 8k so I decided to pay more attention..Mehn those guys na thief..I accept a ride, called rider twice but did not pick and I cancel..I did not move an inch..Commission deducted, maybe because I called rider but the funny thing is I could not find the trip details...Like I wanted to write to support but I no see all the info about the trip...now I know how my money dey vanish, atleast let me see the trip details nau so I know where the commission enter but nope..and because I cancelled alot, indriver just open office for my head.
Na you did it wrongly as I've once said here.
If you accept a ride on indrive, don't call the passenger. Just send them a message on the app and drive to pick up. If the passenger cancels before you get to the PU, you will get notified and money will be added to your refund purse.
Mistake some drivers always make is that, they will call passenger before they even start moving and they will cancel if passenger no pick their calls. In such case, indrive will take your money.
Best to do is, don't call passenger. Just send message.
The only time you can call passenger is when you don click arrive at the PU point. If any cancellation should happen after waiting for 5mins, you will get your money in your refund purse.
Note: if you message some passengers, dey no go reply but will call you by themselves, once they call you with a number, na the number make you call from your phone dial pad. Don't call from the app link.

Much respect, baba.

This is where your instinct and discretion comes to play.

Know your environment. You can't pick someone from an estate with call to access and not feel some sort of safety. What about the riders destination? Is the rider taking you from a safe location to an unsafe route. E.g VI to Baracuda Beach at 1am.. what are you going to do there?

Majority of drivers death in this hustle are avoidable. Why pick a trip from Shrine to Abule egba? The other guy that got killed in Mushin at 4am, what is he looking for there?

If you have not done ehailing consistently during the day for at least months, you don't have any business working at night. At a glance, you must be able to figure out where your rider is and where the rider is going.
Like one of my guys who recently got a Corolla. I enrolled him in indrive and after he worked few days, the next thing him go do overnight work.
I mean, working from evening till the following morning. angry
Him come get mind tell me say him worked overnight and made a lot of sales and it was all easy drive throughout the night as roads are always deserted.
I just sharperly called him wife together with him say, I want him to delete the indrive app now now. I told both of dem say, from that day, I am ordering him to stop doing e-hailing. Na me show you de way to e-hailing, now I'm not involved again. Leave e-hailing now and delete this app.
I just vex comot for their house.
I have the audio recording of all our conversation that day as evidence for me.
I've removed myself already. If him like make him continue, I'm already a free man.
Make person no come put me for wahala.

Yea you are right, but I believe there’s something called understanding you clients. You can’t pick someone from kpmg around 5pm or their house and say they will hurt you. Most especially if it is just a lady. You pick 3 guys at the bus stop around 10pm, the red flags are obvious. I don’t like bus stop trips, I take extra attentiveness when I pick riders from such place.
So sad mehhnnn. embarassed
He probably was new to the hustle, cos an experienced driver should know that bus stop pickups are a red flag move at night. lipsrsealed
Iyana oworo is a risky place to pick people cos many of those guys are armed thugs from oworonshoki, somolu/bariga, oshodi, etc.
Yesterday night wey I dey Louis Solomon close at VI around to 9pm, I was waiting for my last trip that will take me to mainland, I saw one and when I clicked to accept, I mistakenly picked one at Obalende underbridge and that one accepted me. I immediately cancel am straight. Though the money was good but hey, I don't pick anything Obalende. If you like, put 7k for a trip of 30mins, once I see say na bus stop you dey, or all these roundabouts, under bridges, anything that doesn't indicate street/road name/ location number, I no dey pick.
I always feel the urge to help people by giving them a free ride when I'm alone, but hey, God won't punish me if I close eyes and refuse to help. Human beings are wicked.
Imagine that man now, life just got wasted prematurely. embarassed
