Pearl1910: Avoid serious traffic as much as u can, this new price isn't so favourable on time wasted in traffic. I just wasted 3hours from Lekki to Berger (it would have been more but that's because I know my way around alausa, omole and ojodu) trip ended 10k. For every extra hour in traffic ur fare increases only by 1,200 Meanwhile I was steadily cresting 6k per hour before that trip. As soon as I dropped the person I got another trip to Ogudu, 4,700. From Ogudu I got VI, 5k another 10k but in 1hour. I repeat avoid serious traffic, except there is surge. don't come and b crying that u used 30k fuel to do 50k work. As it stands sef short short trips now makes sense cos of the minimum fare. So use your number 6 well. Cheers!!!! It's no news that Ojodu Berger and its environs have been a dead area for some months now and I don't think any indrive driver would put head there. I've been studying the traffic that goes to Berger on daily lately, just to imagine what people been going through. I can imagine 3hrs inside traffic. They need to hasten up the ongoing work there, abeg. People are really going through a lot in that area. I can't imagine me living in that axis in this period. It is well. Much respect, boss. |

One thing these drivers that are complaining don't understand is that, if other drivers don't pick useless trips, the good trips won't come to them that are complaining. Perhaps they're frustrated that no passenger was picking their higher bid. Me I won't advise any driver to not pick useless trips, or to not bid higher for passengers. Make dem continue. Smiles.

These people are flooding indrive passengers' page. If drivers like make dem dey pick 2k for 1hr rides, it's their own problem nah. Why these guys dey make fake requests is not actually clear to me; to vent your frustration? LoL. These ones are learners. My problem with them is that they are just flooding the page. Make I dey watch their drama from here.

pope191: Last week Friday by this time I came out to see if I can do 15k and back home by 11pm. So I zero down on island 6500 and got back to yaba 3500. 10k down 5k to go. Got 3k to Cubana. 10:30pm. I was getting Berger for 3k, but seeing the traffic? Fear won't let me. I kept updating till 1am, nothing nothing... that was how Pope slept inside the car. No b me go enter that traffic at 488/ L
Saturday morning, I say make I go house nah, inside car sleep and bed are two wide margin. Pick a trip going to Magodo 1 for 3800. I use express, no way, turn to Amara Olu and spent 2 hours between there to second gate. Rider gave me option of 2500 or we continue the ride. Smh I better pick this option and let her go. Gently find my way to Ogba from wemco road. Bath, eat and took nap at a friends place. Enter road again as target is in view. Saturday night I was around Magodo phase 2 around 11pm, set destination as I accept my fate of passing the night again inside the car. 2 days on the row
That was how request beeped. Going to Magodo phase 1 from phase 2. As much as I long to go home. Me to rider, Oga! You are mean ooo, are you asking me to go enter that Berger traffic, haba! Rider goes like pls, don't worry I'll give you 5k swallow spit hmm! 5k? Haaaa! The traffic, ohk, no wahala, lemmi just try.
Got to rider, study map well and noticed from Allen to wemco or Ogba route gets free with time, while the express is always on lock 24/7. I just use Allen to connect wemco, from wemco use alternative route straight for those that understand to Berger round about. Rider was happy with extra 2k thank u.
The thing about that route now is one have to wait till 12 or 1am. Home now with the tots of going out at night, but when I tot of what I went through last week and the routes when I check the map from Yaba to berger. Nah! I ain't doing that sh*t today. Damn! How did I get into this from the person that hang out once in awhile to workaholic. Even when I try to rest, all my head will be banging like request in hitting me. Sudden turuturu will sound like rider just cancel trip on me
I dedicate Cheerfulgiver to ya'll. I was just seeing guys popping into Cubana last Friday. Won't be a bad idea if I was that guy hopping out of that Benz with that Monalisa. E no good make suffer head master person we move on 50k target tomorrow sha. Chai! See what a man been going through. Inside life. This your epistle is really filled with comics I don laugh tire. The have already started patching some damages roads/potholes. Those driving should have seen their work on some areas. They should sha try and cover all necessary areas. Kudos to them. Btw, see traffic. People living in Ojodu and beyond, accept my sympathy. @pope191, how your neighbors dey cope in Ojodu Berger? You dey see the traffic at the moment? Welz: this new rida app is nonsense, you won't even see the trip but you will receive notification of trip cancelled, all the trips there are 1500 or 2000. To log out na war. I entered indrive fear catch me, drivers no dey even allow trip land before them accept the ridiculous price. 2000 from ikoyi to ogudu? at 488 per litre? gilthronix how una dey do am ? My question be say where did you see 2k from ikoyi to ogudu? Cos it can never happen on indrive that I use. it's not possible, sir. Maybe you were mixing them up. However, no dey think say all the orders that are picked on indrive were actually picked based on the prices that the passengers put there, drivers are bidding higher, but I don't do bidding, anyways. If the price is crap, I ignore. If it's perfect for me, I pick. Some indrive drivers no dey get patience, they want everything to happen rush-rush like say na bolt. Sit in your car, feel relaxed and wait for good orders. Some drivers will wait 20mins without any passenger picking their bids and the next thing dey do is start lamenting that no order. Boss, if you are seeing annoying fare prices, ignore them and be chilling in your car, good orders go definitely show. Much respect, boss. |

Barbiturate: Who else has been finding it hard to pay commission on Indrive via transfer? Since on Saturday. Reported to their support, but they are not useful. They want drivers to register their cards on their platform. No be me! I'd rather continue with Rida than register my card! But na the card I don dey use from the beginning and no issue at all. Why you come dey fear, baba? You can even delete the card anytime you want. Much respect, boss. |

dapotemi: I was out of Lagos on Wednesday. My flight was to Enugu, finished my assignment and later took a ride to AWKA, then to Onitsha. Yesterday I was at asaba and today am in warri. I'll be in bayelsa tomorrow and back to warri on Monday to connect a flight to Lagos.. I notice alot of improvement on road infrastructure to be honest and I give it PMB administration. Even the bad roads I notice where mostly road under construction..Lagos somehow is overrated and there is no much federal presence in terms of road construction..I did not see a single pothole from asaba to warri... By the way, this trip will give me nothing less than 500k as add-on, after all expenses, with all the 'igbadun' that usually comes with official trips like this...Some of you have been so tortured in the labour market that when you hear salary job, you think we all have to wait till 31st to get 100k! I think that is the reason for all the bad mouth I see here but we can understand...To the new cat, I beg you, if you're a graduate, get a CAREER....Be patience, CLIMB the ladder...Let me ask you, what do you think an Uber driver will be after 10 years of driving? Still an Uber driver right? I don't want that for you! If you're JOBLESS now, then maybe you should drive but don't sleep on it, don't let anyone tells you it's the BEST for you! I beg you! Good afternoon, boss. Apologies for my late response. Well, for any good or bad roads, the government will always answer for it, whether at state or federal level. You see this salary work vs e-hailing driving, me I no want dey put mouth. Cos the chairman that always fires catapult at salary eaners has his target audience and those ones know themselves. There are lots of people who earn millions in salary and there are those whose your 500k add-on is their 12/11/10/9/8/7/6 or 5 months salary. It is not all of us that would have that kinda opportunity that earns you such amount on a trip assignment. That chairman had already described his target audience and definitely, his catapult won't hit every salary earner and I don't think people should have problem with him. Shebi na salary work I been dey do before I switched, I knew what I was looking for and the difference is remarkable FOR ME. I am business oriented, not in the salary career realm at all. This that I'm doing at the moment, is not where I'm going. I want to achieve 2 things here, once I gat them, it's a goodbye to the hustle. My prayers be say make nothing hinder me. That doesn't mean that people that have been doing it for that 10 years you said have nothing else they doing. I know 3 of my friends who are house owners already from this e-hailing hustle and if you see them, you would argue they are drivers. They're property agents now. All the e-hailing voltrons we're seeing on this thread, by the time they leave many people behind, that's when we go realize say everybody gets plans. Your point is well understood as to those who chose it as a career job without any planned exiting alternatives. Those ones ehhhn. Much respect, boss. |

YeyeGbami: Lagos is overpopulated, the infrastructures can't hold. LASG go fix road tire!!! The problem with the government is ignorance, which to me, is INTENTIONAL ignorance. There should be a quick response team to all infrastructural defect in the state (don't think anyone exits). The government that understands the nature of its state has no excuse to wait until all goes completely bad before the fix it. That place started small until it became big nah. They would ignore bad roads like they didn't see it when it was little that would require just minimum patching. Make dem continue. Much respect, boss. |
