Thanks to bolt and Uber. Son of man finally left the country 3 days ago.

What did bolt contribute to my journey? Well, the experience isn’t a waste. Plus I sold my car, same car I got because of bolt. The money was really helpful.

My target was NOT to exceed 2yrs in the hustle. I exited at exactly 1yr 6 months. So yes, bolt is indeed a stepping stone. 😁

This is me wishing everyone success in their exit strategy. Keep doing your bolt hustle till it clicks. I dey Toronto, Canada. In case any pilot is based here too. 😁🙌

Tinubu subsidy removal speech may be crazy, but nah old man method. If he has settled into office before removing, it would have been back and forth drama. The past administration set a trap for him and baba took advantage of it. Too early to judge his policies, the only thing this government is doing now is raking revenues from all angle and yet to do anything for the people. So nah sidon look, the real problem will start when we end up borrowing money to carry out project like the past ones.
No wahala.

Boss let’s not pray these prayers, I’m a sucker for dollars too, but the effect on the economy is not pleasant atall. Almost all filling stations are not selling. PMS is gearing up to 720, where do we go from here? Another scarcity looming.

Glithronix, time to dust your kegs, it’s about to get real.
I just read am on front page now.
Omoh, we're in for a serious period generally.
Let's put aside the e-hailing first, the country as a whole will feel the vibration.
Things we're currently complaining about their high cost would even become more expensive.
A lot of people would cry if the fuel price climbs to that amount.
Hmmm. The way and manner Tinubu announced the subsidy removal was so foolish.
It was just like a lecture who had no subject to teach, then walks into the lecture room with a marker and writes jargons on the board, e go shock students. The lecturer too go look stupid.
Seriously, I really can't imagine where we're going to be in this country in the next 6 months.
Omoh, na to just dey house dey observe ni oooh. Me wey I dey even find one 1 week wey I go take relax self, maybe I go use this opportunity then. cheesy
I would move around later today to see the filling stations around me, cos as you say almost all filling stations are not selling, make I just cruise around to see the situation since I'm not working today.
Omoh, make we dey watch sha.

Pearl1910:
Let no partner ever tell u to bear cost of fixing his/her car and still put the normal rental price. One must go for the other.
Either he collects 25k weekly and u bear cost of repairs/maintainance or he collects his normal 40k and fixes his car as at when necessary.

A driver is just RENTING the car, it is the responsibility of the owner to put his car in a rentable condition. Anything asides that then he loses the right to demand for the weekly rent. A driver doing little or minor repairs on a car he is renting is at his own discretion.

The only responsibility the driver has should be in an event when the damage is his (drivers) fault.

On the second part, your partner is not serious. So he wants u to work only Monday to Friday, he will use the car Saturday and Sunday, then u pay him 40k and still bear cost of repairs?.
U don't need anybody to tell u not to bother negotiating anything with him/her.
The car owner want kill Mr. Doris ni. grin
40k from Monday - Friday.
All maintenance on the driver as well.
Hehehehheeee. I laugh in Niger manner.

This matter deep. Tot of it yesterday while using the bridge. The bridge is in a sorry state. If they close for repair, people will still complain. If they fix one side another will pop. They just have to shut the bridge down and completely work on it, but with what people living around Berger her facing? Smh
My problem with them is' "why do they always wait till it all gets worse?"
Why? Why? Why huh

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix:
I'm going to say something now and it's not meant for anything else other than to ENCOURAGE ourselves (as drivers);

Seriously speaking, all drivers should try and put their tools in good condition (be it Bolt /Uber/Indrive drivers).
I picked a ride, the rider called immediately to ask if my car has AC? I replied with a simple YES.
The second order I picked, same thing.
I've had same question from riders like 10 times this week alone.
This shows the kind of experiences some of them have had 'recently'.
I've been hearing this since day one of my time.
Y'all remember when I posted here that my car AC was not chilling like before, right?
Some of you told me what I should look out for, so, I took it to a recommended AC guy, close to my place.
I told him I wanted to rebirth my AC by getting a new filter, draining the oil and the gas, a complete servicing and I bought a new gas as well and the guy did his work (total was 13k). Since then, even at the lowest, my passengers dey always request make I turn of my AC when they started getting frozen.
Seriously, I can testify to their complaints; the last two rides I took on Bolt and indrive, omoh, I was just like wetin be this?
E come be like say some drivers no dey concern with their car ACs at all.
Get one wey I ordered on Bolt last week (at night), tell me anything a car leg issue can be. Make legs dey beat ground like say na caterpillar. AC was not even chilling at all. No wonder the guy had 4 ⭐.
Some cars would look like something wey I no fit talk. lipsrsealed
Shiiiit, drivers self should be dressing nice naah.
That's why people dey always look down on anybody wey dem hear say na Uber man and the thing dey pain me.
The way I dress, I swear you can't but just love it.
Car interior smells nice and anyone wey enter dey always tell me this. No be mouth, wallahi.
Abeg make all of us that know that our cars have single issue, make we try and dey attend to am immediately.
I can't imagine me driving a faulty/disfigured car, I would rather not drive at all.
God no go shame all of us.

Much respect, bosses.

Felicity is a boy… nothing deh happen
The Eko & Apongbon bridges are not closed.
I picked someone from surulere yesterday in the afternoon and decided to take the risk of routing through the bridges.
Just wanted to be sure so that I can be taking surulere orders with rest of mind now.
But I saw the Lawani Oguntayo road on the right wing of Eko bridge if you're heading towards island is closed. I think that, and other segments that are under modification.
I hate going to surulere because of the linking and exiting routes to/from that area, but now that the bridges are functioning, I will start picking trips going there and won't have issues picking rides from there to the island, cos my target from surulere is always island. cool

Hello house, pls want your opinion. I’ve been following this thread for a while now and I want the people doing bolt to advise me. I wanna give out one of my cars to my friend ( Corolla 2010 sport ) for Uber / bolt purpose. But I don’t wanna be too greedy and also don’t wanna be stupid. I see some people post they earn 33k to 45k per day here and I’m wondering if it’s true. Because with that calculation , lemme use 30k minimum per day times 6 days a week that’s 180k per month. How real is this pls??
Chief, don't strangle someone's son based on what you see here.
Whether drivers net 100k daily, a car owner no fit demand more than 40k (max) weekly remittance from his driver, that's even if the car is in top notch condition.
If you want to demand remittance based on dashboards you're seeing here, na you go regret am las las, not even your driver.
So, my brother, that's it.

I h8te seeing drivers posting using passengers' page.
Can't they keep quiet?
Can same be done on bolt?
No be their fault, na because indrive integrate both passenger and driver's platform.
They will make order and when you arrive PU point, they would cancel, making you waste fuel and losing your money to refund wallet. angry
Since day before yesterday, I don dey avoid picking orders made by "new users", if you not get quite number of rides + good rating ⭐, I'm not picking your order.

Must they post anything?!
If you're not enjoying what you're seeing, sit inside your car and be doing something else.
