am amazed at some nigerians, is very sad how our thinking goes. pls don't come for nysc, we are doing better without you and will pull through without your kind to the shame of all our glorified expatriates, then you can come home to roast.

@ kysl your sponosor can get a recongnised real estate firm to do a valuation of his property, you won't need to send your c of o. just a covering letter from the firm and the valuation report showing the open market valve and forced sale value is okay.

@ princeuk, if your dad is using an account showing property deals ( selling properties) he should also make provision for withholding tax too. i know someone's visa that was refused last year because his guarantor did not show evidence of paying withholding tax for the rents collected from his property. goodluck i will soon drop my application too.

what you should look out for is the rental trend in the locations.
the type of property( multifamily apartments or single units)
i will rather advise for multifamily apartment ie blocks of flats for a start.
surulere, isolo, yaba areas are most promising because the up coming professionals
are looking for apartments in these location because of proximity to Victoria island
Festac houses and amuwo odofin has shown consistency in capital appreciation too.
i advise you shop around the different estate agencies first for professional advise
and if possible an in dept analysis of the rental projections and capital appreciation in the recent times for the various locations , before you commit your money.
houses in estates are always liquid and appreciates faster too

i believe poverty is a state of the mind
i cannot marry anyone with a poverty mentality because we will not be able to walk together.
men are in sizes as life is in phases.
though your beginning is small your end shall be greatly increased.
that is what i believe.

In the beginning God made them male and female and he said what God has joined together let no man put asunder including things.
Marriage from the beginning has always been forever, so we should reject everything that
will dishonour it's purpose and i really don't think we are wiser than our mothers who stood
by their husbands in all and had so much believe in the institution.
our knowledge and exposure should only add colour to the institution and not mar it.
And we should not be selfish to destroy the future of the generations to come.
it is time we go back to the book and ask the maker how he intended it to be and the grace
will be made available to us.
there is nothing has beautiful and inspiring as seeing a marriage where the man is the leader as God intended and the woman is giving loving support in submission.
you only need to look at all the great marriages around,because if you want to succeed, you don't go looking at failures.
we still have great examples ,you only need to ask God to show you a role model.


glory's opinion .

A friend of mine gave me this advice, if you ever find yourself single at 30, take your time, do not rush into anything, having waited this long it will not worth the wait, if you live
to regret your decision.
i believe that at this age one should make a decision based on what you want and not what people think,your values and vision must be in place and already working and you are
not just waiting for somebody to make you happy, nobody really does but you are looking for somebody that appreciates who you are and what you have to offer for the success of that union.
i believe if there was anytime one should allow pressure and opinions in making this all important decision that should be in your 20"s but definitely not now.
the blue days no doubt will come but certainly when you remember the structures you are building to make your marriage a great success, hope comes alive.
personally i don"t believe in divorce and am 29.
