I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported this young man esp Mrs. Somebody. It just goes to show that Nigerians still have a good heart, Mrs. Somebody has helped this young man just as Idowuogbo helped me out too last year. To everyone who has helped in one way or the other, God will not forget your labour of love, amen. |
Hmmm, if this is a scam then am really sorry for Nigerians. Helping people that are truly in need just got harder. Smh |
Op, i am in a similar situation as yours, i just thank God for good people around me. I wish i had the means to help you with what you need but i don't. I can only advise you. Maybe you should get the mail of one or two nlanders and send whatever verification tney need. Also, let us know exactly how much the fee is. Pls let me also appeal to nlanders, pls if you are in a position to help, pls do so (not without caution tho). Lets be open first and not condemn d guy before getting proof. God help us all. |
Wow, i just came on this page and all i can say is OMG! What was all that for? All you lovers of Perx, would she be happy with all that is going on/has gone on here Abeg for the sake of her memory, PEACE.I saw my name somewhere in all this and i would like to respond to it. I had to gather liver to post my issues here earlier bcs i had read sensible and helpful comments from some good ppl here but i was surprised when i got very few responses. I attributed it to the fact that Perx's case was more important than mine and i stepped away from d scene. Thank God am coping with myself and thank God for those of you who commented and in one way or the other helped to keep me alive. God bless you all. Id, how did you know ![]() Anyway, before peeps start accusing me of trying to start world war III, i rest my case. |
Perx, its saddening to know that you have gone. You encouraged me even though you were going through your own challenges, shows you could look beyond your own problems to reach out to others. RIP sweet angel, may you find peace at the bosom of our Lord |

Most ppl say d same abt ppl who have been through alot end up as great persons but my problem is how do i get THROUGH it when all i see in front of me is a gloomy, dark, bleak, end-up-like-my-parents future? I sure don’t want dat kind of future but things are just stagnant. How do i move from this place where i am ![]() ![]() ![]() I need to know that i can make something great out of my life but it seems telling myself dat doesn’t really help. (Sorry for the complaints, i just hav to let it out before it suffocates me) Joy comes in the morning but the night is sooooo long dat sometimes i wonder if morning will ever come, @ Badosky, I sent u a mail yday. @ Badosky and Mac, Pls don’t fight, forget the misunderstanding and lets move on. Hey Perx, keep being strong. It will be well with you. Nlanders, i need help. Am always feeling depressed and suicidal (tried it once but only landed in d hospital). Wat can i do to stop it? |
I wish our dear GEJ can listen to this. its a song by Pink Dear Mr. President, Come take a walk with me. Let's pretend we're just two people and You're not better than me. I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly. What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street? Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep? What do you feel when you look in the mirror? Are you proud? How do you sleep while the rest of us cry? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye? How do you walk with your head held high? Can you even look me in the eye And tell me why? Dear Mr. President, Were you a lonely boy? Are you a lonely boy? How can you say no child is left behind? We're not dumb and we're not blind. They're all sitting in your cells While you pave the road to hell. What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away? I can only imagine what the first lady has to say Let me tell you 'bout hard work Minimum wage with a baby on the way Let me tell you 'bout hard work Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away Let me tell you 'bout hard work Building a bed out of a cardboard box Let me tell you 'bout hard work You don't know nothing 'bout hard work How do you sleep at night? How do you walk with your head held high? Dear Mr. President, You'd never take a walk with me. Would you? |
Thank you, i got it, |
Sweetheart, I understand where you are coming from and I feel your pain. No one has a right to cast a stone at you but dear what you are doing is WRONG. Your situation is hard but you don’t need to resort to having an affair wit ur lecturer for the fact that he is a married man. How would you feel if you were in his wife’s shoes? Rememba the good book says ‘do to others what you would have them do to you’. Please look for a job no matter how small the pay is, you and your folks would need to adjust and forget this lecturer of yours who is only using you. If he wants to help you he should do so without asking ‘something’ in return. You would survive with or without this man and its better you survive without him AND with a clear conscience. |
Residents of Jos, the Plateau state capital were thrown into state of awe at the weekend, when a mysterious fire allegedly gutted the corpse and coffin of a dead woman who was taken to the Zaria Road graveyard in Jos North local government area for burial, Friday afternoon. Stunned residents who trooped to the cemetery up to yesterday to catch a glimpse of the coffin in which the corpse of the deceased was devastated, confirmed to our correspondent in the Tin City that the dead body was burnt to ashes. Although none of the relations of the deceased was found or seen at the graveyard to confirm the incident, our correspondent gathered that some relations of the woman who went for the burial rites sustained varying degrees of injuries from the fire, and as a result took to their heels and left the graveyard. The identity of the deceased was not known up to press time yesterday, but our correspondent gathered that the deceased hailed from Benue state. Also, while some eyewitnesses said that the corpse of the dead woman was taken to the cemetery from Rukuba junction in Jos, others said the journey of the deceased started from Gada Biyu area of the city. A source close to the deceased’s residence disclosed to our correspondent yesterday that when the woman died her relations initially contemplated taking her corpse to her home town in Benue state for burial, but because she was married to a native of Plateau state, the husband insisted that she must be buried in Jos. Although another source at the Zaria Road cemetery told our correspondent yesterday that it was not the deceased’s corpse that was gutted but a suspected female member of a gang involved in rituals, who went there to remove some body parts from a buried corpse on Friday that was consumed instantly by fire, most spectators at scene of the incident said it was a corpse that was taken for burial that busted into flames, while her relatives fled the area. http://www.peoplesdaily-online.com/news/national-news/16375-mystery-fire-burns-corpse-causes-stir-in-jos I stay in Jos so i can confirm that this really happened, so my question is this: Is it true that Benue women cannot be buried elsewhere but in their state? |
As at now, Jos has been thrown into confusion. The city has been deserted. |
@ Skydeexie, do you live in Jos? cos it's only one that lives in Jos that would have such a clear picture of what is happening. Thank you for enlightening people out there, its left for them to believe what they will. |
very funny, i hope they will not resort to smelling of nyash to catch the offender, ![]() |
I was born and brought up in Jos, its like a second home to me now but the things i see/hear in this town makes me shiver. I don't support the killing of anyone whether muslim, christian, pagan, babies, mothers or whatever , a human being is a human being and i am sick and tired of all these killings. Human life has been reduced to no value. It is only God that stop all these so the best we can do is to pray hard. One thing that always strikes me is that in Jos no one has ever heard that the Igbo/Yoruba/Idoma etc has ever attacked anybody. It is only one set of people that are ALWAYS the ones menacing others ?Anyway, update is that a bomb was detected in one of the hostels in Unijos. God help us |
Rest in peace bro. Even though i never knew you, i'll miss u |
Am a behind-d-scene member but i want to say i appreciate EVERYONE here for making me laugh and learn. This family has been very useful to me. Thank you all |
@ Poster I don't know how much you value your mum but i would never let mine go through something like that esp. at this fragile stage of her life. Since u and ur siblings are grown up, please take her away with you, give the man a houseboy that can do chores for him. Whether you like it or not those beatings are wearing her down, physically or psychologically. Do something fast. |
Abeg for the sake of her memory, PEACE.
