tunnex190: Nice and well prepared but i kind of like mine with little lemon juice inside and probably stir fry the meat with cream. You should try it. It's very yummy
Ok. I will stir frying the meat with cream. The lemon juice gives me kind of a sour taste.
Omoslim26: Op you are doing well Add Nutmeg for better aroma. In your sauce add milk and also a little tomato pasta to the meat. You are doing great. Shawarma is one of my special specials
Channah1: Your shawarma sauce is just ketchup and mayonnaise? Very easy. The one I'm planning to do is the Chinese shawarma sauce. It's got more in it, I think.
This is simple and straight forward. Kudos Ma'am.
Please i look forward to the Chinese version. Thank you Channah1
fman: pls explain the procedure wt write-up. Sharwama don finish my money
Ok. You have to have the ingredients first with Tortilla wrap (Shawarma bread) I got mine from Shoprite. Cut the beef into little pieces, season it and marinate for about 30 minutes in the fridge. As you wait, cut the cucumbers, grate the carrots (it makes it sweeter), cut the cabbage. You can add other vegetables like lettuce, etc. Then stir fry the beef with little vegetable oil till its well cooked and set aside. Fry the sausages and also set aside. Mix the amount of ketchup and mayonnaise you want together. Then start filling the Tortilla with all the ingredients you've set aside and wrapping. Place in a pan to seal the edges and warm it up a bit.
IntelChief: Looks nice and am sure it tastes delicious too. Weldone dear. If you can, one of these days show us how to make starch and banga soup. Thanks

Frankcallys: Hahahaha... My siblings always do the same thing. I just don't see myself eating those two things.... Ah... I forgot to add Garden Egg, those big ones. Yiaaak! I hate them with a passion, but I eat the little ones in the garden or farm
We are all made different and unique in our ways.
Those big garden egg with ose oji (ground pepper and groundnut) tastes heavenly
Mariangeles: The bring the beans to obedience part got me laughing. Don't forget to mash the beans. You will enjoy it. I had to reply you here because I didn't want to derail channah's thread any further.
Ok I understand. Sure I will mash it and thank you.
Mariangeles: Okay. I used honey beans for this one. I cooked it until it became really really soft, then I mashed it with omorogun, until it became quite thick and almost smooth (I didn't want it totally smooth).
Then for the pepper sauce, I used fresh tasting light palm oil, onions, ata gbigbe and a little bit of salt. (the taste wasn't disappointing at all)
Thank you Mariangeles, l fit reason this ewa agoyin tomorrow. Use pressure pot and bring the beans to obedience and then fry the sauce
Reminds me of when a sibling is sick and gets to have whatever he or she wants, the rest will be lurking around like hyenas, waiting for when he or she rejects it.
Lurking around like the hyenas got me really cracking up.
And once they reject the food, BOOM its like celebration for the others.
Frankcallys: You were doing great until you added goat meat! Naaah... That's a No No for me. Goat meat and that point and kill fish is not for me
Varieties of life, goat meat and that cat fish is among my best protein. Growing up my elder brother doesn't eat cat fish, and we will be lurking around him for his portion
You can alternate with the protein of your choice.
Odinaka00: How I wish that I fit get most of these ingredients for SA, I go like try cook this soup. Who go send me food stuffs for SA?
You can get them in Jo'burg. I don't know how far you are from there. There are many places they sell very fresh vegetables that you will think you are in Nigeria. Its just a little expensive than you will buy it in Nigeria.
