Crime / Re: Army Shot A Man In Abia State Because He Refused To Drop 100# At The Check Point by Glorymax: 7:20pm On Aug 07, 2019
All army check points in South East should be dismantled. They are not serving any purpose for the people.
The other day, it was reported that while shooting was ongoing few kilometres away from army check point near UNTH along ENU/PH expressway, and the Soldiers notified, they casually dismissed the info while confirming being aware of the incident as well. Two persons were kidnapped from that incident.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Difficult To Administer — IBB by Glorymax: 10:43am On Aug 07, 2019
agwom:
Former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida says Nigeria is difficult to administer. He described Nigeria as a complex and difficult country because of its diversities and peculiarities.

According to him, the diversities always give room for contrasting opinions and debates along geopolitical lines which sometimes lead to tension and bad blood.

The more reason we should go the regional way or outright disintegration.

Could they have jumped into the river or pushed aside by other colleagues? May their souls rest in peace. Anyway, most people do loss calmness and react wrongly during accidents.
Holding strongly to any member of the steel structure would have saved more as can be seen that the bridge is still hanging.

On a lighter mood, the width of that river looks like what long jumpers can easily do. So how much will it cost to construct a reliable and standard structure across that canal?

Ohaneze ndi Igbo, South East governors, Abuja Igbo politicians, and others like them, including some royal highnesses should be held responsible for what's happening. They helped FG to tag IPOB terrorist and clamp down on its activities.
However, IPOB will not stand and watch for long but for the meantime, let the occupation of these killers with their accomplices go on

As long as the citizens are afraid to challenge this govt. I mean, citizens of Southern region playing safe and staying on the fence, this Fulani project will continue to have its way.
The South Easterners have said they don't have land for this Fulani project. Our governors should stop attending meetings on Rugs issue with FG. They should be ready to contend with us. South East governor should be careful not to change the earlier stand of the zone. They cannot contain the aftermath of such move.

Just wondering how the camera take clean reach that level...

Don't you know cameras zoom images 50x plus and beyond your distance from objects, and thereafter, the captured image can still be zoom many times without loosing clarity.
We already know that Nigeria Police/commercial motorists and Roger are inseparable
Politics / Re: FG Triggered RUGA Alarm In Abia With Suspicious Trailer Park - Sunday Owualah by Glorymax: 5:44pm On Jul 27, 2019
Ngwa people should reject that move immediately. Is trailer park a project? Trailers constitute nuisance and spoil road networks. If it's because Aba is an industrial area, rail should be extended to those areas.

Car Talk / Re: The Nuisance Of Splashing Water On Pedestrains During Rain By Car Drivers by Glorymax: 4:51pm On Jul 23, 2019
Had a very bitter experience of such act. I went to inspect a property and while coming back, used Keke, an oncoming car splashed dirty water on my snow white shirt. The man didn't stop either, and I had plan to visit public arena after my inspection that day.
It was really painful and sad. Even after several treatment on the shirt, can still spot some of the stain. Anyway, that's an old story now as it can't happen often again.
For those who said this act is not intentional, I can not remember driving on a wet/water logged road and splashing a pedestrian water. I don't even fancy washing the car underneath with those water. Just slow down and pass through.

For those who do not know, there is no true Igbo person with presidential ambition as an ethnic representative right. All those clamoring for Igbo president are political jobbers and does not represent the true Igbo idea of a Nigerian president.
What the Igbos wants, first is a Nigeria that works, where merit within the geographical spread is represented. The person making this statement should know that the true Igbo person is not interested in Nigerian president of Igbo origin but believes that the Igbo person can make Nigeria to work again.

Crime / Re: Fasoranti’s Daughter: ‘herdsmen Kidnap People Here Almost Everyday. by Glorymax: 5:14pm On Jul 21, 2019
od4life:

When asked about the identity of the criminals, he said: “I can confirm to you that they are Fulani and not any other tribe. I don’t know if they are herdsmen or not but the language they speak is not pure Hausa. One of them was unlucky to be arrested some time ago during an operation that went awry and I can tell you that he was a Fulani man.”
od4life:

He said: “This man from Ibadan was released after spending four days in the forest. He met me on my farm asked for direction to the road and because it was late and there was no cash on him to travel back to Ibadan. I accommodated him in my house. He left the next day.”
He also confirmed that the hoodlums operating on the Benin-Ore road are Fulani. “I was working on my farm when I saw seven of them fully armed passing by. I hid behind a tree and in a matter of minutes after getting to the road, they started shooting. They abducted about five people. I saw that they were all Fulani. I wonder why some people are afraid to speak the truth about the identity of those behind this criminal act. The abducted Ibadan man also confirmed to me that they are Fulani.”

Was just looking for victims corroboration. It's now left for us to accept it or not

od4life:

The police spokesman said detectives from the command were still in the forest in search of the hoodlums.

They will remain in the forest till the matter dies off

kayjay69:
See Miyetti Allah's statements from the start have clearly shown what the real agenda of the Fulanis are and it has nothing to do with grazing, trust me when I say it has nothing to do with Cattle rearing. These Fulanis have long believed that the entire Nigeria not just the North, is theirs, it is conquered territory. Now with Buhari in Aso Rock, they seek to assert their dominance. It is clear to everyone, even to the blind, that just by judging from the statements from all involved and affected and the actions taken thus far, that the Fulanis are really aching for war.

These fulani elite, no matter how well they mask themselves, their intention has always stayed the same. It is really left to the ethnic groups in Southern Nigeria to defend themselves and their local communities. The Governors will not do anything, so do not look to them.

Buhari's administration has been the most ethnically biased from Nigeria's inception but that really is no personal business of mine. But if you think you will grazing into my farmlands and spoil my source of livelihood, then you have got another one coming.

Southerners should stop patronising these Cows that come from the North. Put them out of business and watch all of them quiet down. Afterall, you can't force whoever is not willing to eat Cow meat. Southern Nigeria Governors should partner with Cattle farmers from other countries to set up ranches within their state, rear cows and sell to the state populace, put an end to this madness.

You can almost judge a nation based on the quality of its national's discourse, just look at what we are talking about as a Nation. Cattle. Herdsmen. RUGA. It just goes to show you how far from grace we have fallen and still continue to fall till this day. I feel sorry for this nation, I weep daily for my country. This is what we have been reduced to, what a pity. We ought to be in the league of nations, trying to lead the way in various categories, look at what we are deciding to concentrate our efforts on.

It's indeed a great shame dear that our national discuss is all about cow and herders. We must do all we can to stop this rubbish. We must speak with one voice against this primitive drive and hidden agenda.

Yes O! Thanks for your observation. However, I wish you do understand properly that passage in my quote. Let me help you; the writer is implying that the colonial masters carved out portions of land for them in southern Nigeria as grazing area.
Anyway, we will verify if actually this statement came out from the herders.

So, if anybody is thinking that because he has cultivated the land in a particular place for long and he has rights there more than us, then we would ask where is the grazing area that the colonial masters created for us?

I only saw the bolded in the whole write up, and I add just be ready to defend the grazing area your masters gave you when the music get louder

Yes he has written and suggested that the government should hold another dialogue. Many dialogues has been held with recommendations, and none implemented.
Not being a pessimist, I doubt even if a hundred more dialogues are held, nothing might come out different from the previous ones. Why waste the lean resources for yet another dialogue. We should go back, dust up several recommendations made previously and begin implementation.
Let us go back to the status quo before the first military coup. I am against convening any new dialogue in any name. Instead let us reach the precipice and whoever survives it, let them live on.

Shall we avoid going to war for fear of death? No. It's true that wars can only be settled on a round table. Hence, the reason for proffering use of dialogue but sometimes fighting is necessary to settle some matters.

Let God's will be done
