The trolling on Ronaldo was tooooo much thats y I started firing back cos the hypocrisy was toooo glaring.... been watching football since 90s and I was used to watching players score tap ins and penalties.....but it was those pained messi minions that just started discrediting those goals calling it cheap as if Messi dont score penalties and tap ins... the truth is that Messi fans are so pained cos they wish messi had accomplished what Ronaldo has accomplished, so they insult him and troll him to feel better.... using balon dor , when we know messi mostly won those awards plus golden ball due to sentiments.... just look at how they are making excuses for him while if it were Ronaldo, they wud hv insulted his life

im a United and Ronaldo fan but all these judgement is unnecessary and uncalled for na, the first game, he came in as a substitute, the second game was champions league and this is his third game, so? Must he score In every games?
"im a United and Ronaldo fan but all these judgement is unnecessary and uncalled for na"

You're not being honest .

Have you actually sat back and think of the dragging and degrading remarks Ronaldo would have gotten just playing his first game and not scoring alone ?

Have you sat back and wonder the trolling he would have received if he have gone three games without an assist or a goal ?
Despite Ronaldo have scored, they still call it "ordinary tap in goals" undecided.
Imagine ,for a second,he have not scored at all .
Against young boys,he actually scored the first goal, was later subtituted due to change in game plan and man u need to earn at least a point,Ronaldo was trolled and dragged in all social media .
We all know Messi is going to score and assist ,as more games are played, nobody is disregarding that.
We are here to point out the hypocrisy from they ,the haters and midget lovers, especially when Messi is the at the receiving end of criticism.
They treat Ronaldo with much higher standard and expectations, and even though he perform beyond those standards and expectations,he will still be trolled and criticised.
Messi is not treated with such high standard and expectations, and even when he don't meet those high expectations, he's still treated with kid gloves and excuses.
You see,if you're a true Ronaldo fan as you claimed, you would have spotted those bias treatment and double standard.

For instance, despite Ronaldo scoring 111 international goals, which only 14 of those goals are from the penalty spot, the haters and midget lovers still discredit such feat on the basis that most of that goals are from the penalty [ which is actually false].
Messi on the other hand, have scored 79 international goals,18 are from penalty, but you won't hear them criticising his international goal feat on the basis that most are penalty.
On total career goals,Ronaldo have scored 780+ goals, only 136 are from the penalty spot.
Messi have scored 740+ career goals,100 are from the Penalty spot.
They haters and the midget lovers will always call Ronaldo "penaldo" on the basis that some of his goals are From the penalty spot, forgetting their midget god is guilty and not a saint inthe penalty goals.
Having about 99+ penalty goals don't make you a saint in the penalty merchant argument, does it ?
But they won't talk about it.

Unnecessary from Pochettino if Messi was playing well.
Messi needs game time to gel with his team mates and he needs games like this to do just that.
Ronaldo was subtituted against young boys when man u was 10 men down and drawing the match, you all used that opportunity to discredit him .

But when Messi is inthe picture,he suddenly need game time in a league rated 6th among other top European leagues ?

He had 3 of his shots saved while hitting the bar from a well taken free kick.

Meanwhile, pendu aka Tap-in-Aldo fans are enjoying the moment, they think messi is a fraud whereas he isn't. I think yall need to be patient with him here cry cry

SportsRe: Messi's First Start In A PSG Shirt Ends In A Disappointing Draw by Glycolite:

But seriously, why do they call Ronaldo pendu? Somebody please tell me. grin grin
They are Just being mischievous.

Out of Ronaldo's 783 career goals,136 are from the penalty spot.
Out of Messi's 748 career goals,100 are from the penalty spot.
Out of Ronaldo's 111 international goals , just 14 are from the penalty spot .
Out of Messi's 79 international goals,18 goals are from the penalty spot.

When they call Ronaldo penalty merchant, you will think his 770+ career goals,300+ are from the penalty spot.
And they all pretend like Messi's 740+ career goals, his penalty goals are not even up to 50.

What I'm saying in essence is that Messi is also a penalty merchant unlike how his fanboys will make you believe,if they consider Ronaldo a penalty merchant.
Having over 99+ career goals from the spot kick don't make you a saint in the penalty merchant argument.

I agree with you that it's a disappointing draw, the whole Psg team played below par

But anyone who watched the game won't say Messi wasn't PSG best player on the pitch tonight
Credit to Brugge for being brave in their approach but yet

Messi had 3 key passes, created one big chance, a shot on goal and had a shot hit the cross bar, completed 3 dribbles, missed a chance too.

Unlike your Ronaldo that was removed when his team needed him and they still lost.
Can never be my GOAT
Try harder!

Anybody that watched that match knows that Mbappe was PSG best player in that field until his withdrawal because of injury.
Messi was totally not in that game until around 70+ minutes before he started showing glimpse of his creative self.
Honestly,PSG was fortunate in that match,if club brugge were more clinical,it would have ended in victory for the home side.
PSG players cut frustrated figure through out that match, looking clueless and lacking idea of how to contain brugge's high energy game plan.

Ronaldo was removed not because he can't deliver at that point. He was removed because man u coach is clueless and there was a change in game plan. The plan was to sit back, absorb pressure and not concede any further.Ronaldo was never a guy to come defending for you, and since he don't have that scary pace to hit opposition on counter attack anymore, then ,removing him is the better option with such a game plan.
Just imagine removing Bruno as well, when you actually need creative sparks to kill off that game, even with 10 men.
It backfired ,and that actually underscore the growing believe among man u fans that they deserve a better coach.

"say excuse me".

I was just imagining her facial expression when she asked the young man to say excuse me.
It most definitely is in a commanding tone and probably that kinda of "you uncultured kid" facial expression written all over her,and that could actually provoke anyone, especially in a public space , but he reacted extremely,I must admit.
What i'm saying in essence is that, that woman is not guilt free, she might have displayed a controlling and commanding tone which must have got the young man angry, to react the way he did.
But then,he didn't handle the situation properly, they are better ways to go about it.

FamilyRe: Is There Such A Thing As Forgive And Forget? by Glycolite: 9:39am On Sep 11, 2021
I strongly doubt.
You can actually forgive people that have wronged you inthe past, but forgetting ,is nearly impossible.
When ever you have dealing with such person, the wrong they have done in the past will always put you in a position where you're very cautious when dealing with them.
They have left a memory with you,a negative memory,so , you're bound to conciously or unconsciously be kinda wary when dealing with them again.
Forgiving is liken to a deep wound which got heal, and "not forgetting" is liken to the scar of the wound which is still there despite healing.

Focus on giving than taking. Our selfishness is the reason we suffer.
Lol, actually the opposite is the secret to getting less emotionally attached to people or something.
The more you give ,maybe your time , attention, and resources to people or into a project, the more you get emotionally attached to such person or project, and the more devastating the effect in case the person betrays you or the project fall through.
But the more you're selfish, making yourself your mental point of origin, investing less time, attention and resources in people or project, the less you're going to be emotionally attached to such person or project ,and the less pain you're going to feel when the project don't work out or the person betrays you.
It puts you in a position where you can easily shake off the setback and move on than when you're heavily invested.

paulolee:
the name penaldo is because of the way he do cry n take penalties so serious...cr7 hadly gv penalties to his team mate n he do dive to win soft penalties n endup crying n complaining if the ref wave it off
Which single player don't take penalty serious ?
Which single player don't protest when he felt he's been denied a clear cut penalty by the referee ? Even coaching staff from the stand protest when they feel they have being denied a penalty by the officiating referee.
But because it's Ronaldo, you're all screaming "embarrassing" and "disgusting".

Let's check all Messi and Ronaldo total penalty opportunities and conversion rate .
Messi have gotten 129 penalty opportunities so far in his career and converted 100 of them.
Ronaldo have gotten 167 penalty opportunities in his career and converted 139 of them.
That's to say,out of Messi's total goals,100 are from the penalty spots, compared to Ronaldo's 139 .
You all pretend like Messi is not guilty of penalty goals and don't show emotions when he's being denied a penalty kick.

What I'm saying in essence is that Messi is also guilty of having more than 99 goals in his careers that are from the penalty spot, and protest when he's been denied a penalty he felt he deserves.

When you all shout "penaldo",an observer will even think Ronaldo have more than 300 penalty goals out of his total career goals, and will think Messi don't even have up to 60 penalty goals out of his total career goals.

SportsRe: Messi ACTUALLY Have More Penalty Goals Than Ronaldo... by Glycolite(op): 7:43am On Sep 11, 2021
jasonnn9:
Yeah.. Op you are right.

Messi might have more international penalties than Penaldo but the main reason CR7 is called Penaldo is because of the way he dives and cries for penalties.

Its too obvious and embarrassing and even pathetic at times. Watch Messi and see the way he hardly dives and even gifts penalties to his teammates..it just gives pure joy to any football fan that truly enjoys the game.

And
NB: On a club level, CR7 has more penalties than Messi and hence more in total overall, hence deserving of his nickname Penaldo.
Do you have a video where Ronaldo was yellow carded for diving in the penalty box ?

Maybe a YouTube video,I will love to see one.
Every single player shows emotion when they feel there was contact on them and a penalty is not given, every single one of them .
Even if it's a soft contact, everyone of them protest ,even with their team players on the field, including the coaching staffs in the stand.
Why is Ronaldo's same show of emotion embarrassing and disgusting ? Because you don't like him, right ?
Messi have protested many times when he feel there was a contact on him, which should be reward will a penalty call, but you all turn your blind eyes, and pretend that don't happen.

Messsi, for instance, was crying after breaking pele's international goals record for south America against Bolivia, that rank 81 in FIfA world ranking, you all cheered him and called him the GOAT.
Ronaldo ,just a week ago, reached a milestone for highest goals scored in international stage by a male football, celebrated him second goal that night against Ireland by pulling off his shirt, you all slammed him ,and called his attitude embarrassing and disgusting ,even against an Ireland team ranked 47 in FIFA world ranking, even went as claiming that most of his international goals are penalties.

Don't that show how double standard you guys are ?

SportsMessi ACTUALLY Have More Penalty Goals Than Ronaldo... by Glycolite(op):
.. at international stage .

Yea,you read that right.
"Penaldo" ,that sounds so familiar, right ?
Some football fans ,but definitely the most loud football fans, have made it a habit to discredit anything good that Cristiano Ronaldo does, especially when it comes to goals.
Recently, the living legend and arguably the greatest football the round leather game have even seem reached another milestone last week by breaking the record for highest goals scored by a male football player in the international stage, and went further by adding one more goal to his tally, making it 111 goals in 180 international caps.
But as expect, the some group of persons keep discrediting this achievement, not only with the "Andorra and Estonia banter" ,but also claiming most of his goals where penalties.

Is that really true ?
Let's take a look at it with stats.
Ronaldo have made 180 international appearances, 111 goals ,with 14 of those goal coming from the penalty spot.
Actually, Ronaldo have gotten 21 penalty kick opportunities at international stage, and scored only 14 of them.
So basically,14*100/111=1.26% of Ronaldo's goals at the international stage is from the spot kick.

Now,back to Messi.
Messi have made 153 international appearances, scored 79 goals, with 18 of them coming from Penalty kick.
Messi have actually gotten 22 penalty kick opportunities at international stage, and converted 18 of them.
Basically,18*100/79= 22.8% of Messi's goals at international stage is from the penalty kick.

After reading this, don't you think Ronaldo actually deserves more respect than the usual stall "penaldo" jab for his goal exploits at the international stage ?
