After 10 years of the creation of the state and 40 years of oil discovery in Oloibiri, Bayelsa state has finally been connected to the national electricity grid. The multi-million dollar Owerri-Ahoada-Yenagoa 132 Kv transmission line, which made this possible, was commissioned recently by the federal government.

I wish to see the day all Nigerians would have adequate access to electricity
