Puppy love, calf love, crush, infatuation will not get you the right person. it is a wrong way to be engaged to a person. when issues like these are been discussed, it is important for you to know that , this is one of the greatest decision you can ever take on earth. if you make a mistake about the person you want to marry, you may be digging your grave. have you not seen couple stabbing each other with knife? don't you read newspapers? As far as marriage is concern, graduate or non graduate is not really necessary, it could be an additional reason, but not compulsory. My concern is that the person you want to marry, is he or she the will of God for your life. The issue of education will even compound your problem, because both of you are graduates. so, no more respect for one another. Marry the wrong person, who is a graduate and you will regret it for the rest of your life. Do the right thing, let God choose for you. There was a strong christian sister that encountered this kind of problem. she went to a particular place to pray. when she got back to school the lecturer started looking for her. what happened? The lecturer had a terrible dream where angels of God were attacking him to go and beg the sister. The lecturer apologized to the sister, that was the end of the problem. impossibility is nothing. I do not know whether she is a christian or not, but when you have a problem that want to swallow you, pray hard, i say pray hard. Even if women are not wearing trousers, some men that does not have enough gift of self control or ability to control their passion, (this also apply to teenagers) will fall flat to any dressing put on by a lady. So, when you now talk of indecent dressing, like women wearing trousers, shorts, mini-skirts, low blouses, sleeveless shirts, tight clothing, tight jeans, pants, body hugging, see through blouses bikini and so on, all these cloth whet men's appetite for sex and ignite the fire of lust. And you see God will not take it lightly with any lady that made innocent soul to fall into the sin of immorality. Therefore, dress in a Godly way, dress in a way to influence people to behave properly, you know cloth can speak, they have voices, they can trap you, may God help the son of adam. Moreover, our lives are like grain of seeds, everybody is sowing a seed everyday. Your voice is a seed, your smile is a seed, your dressing is seed, even as we are on this nairaland forum, we are all planting seeds into the life of people, we should be careful, the kind of seed , we are planting. Black man mentality. The white man will cherish and appreciate their people who have dinstinguish themselves in their various fields. The black man will pull them down. The spiritual realm is more real than the physical, there is more to what your eyes can see. I was reading a poster from,Somebody, he was saying that he did not believe metaphysical power can hinder him. The problem with some people is that, they want to proove everything scientifically, before they believe. Too bad, well, you cannot understand everything, too much knowledge lead to the weariness of the soul. If you acquire all knowledge in this world, but you do not have knowledge about spiritual warfare, you do not have knowledge about the spiritual battle of life, (because simply put, life is a battle field ) then you are making yourself a mincemeat for power of darkness. I find it difficult to locate a particular scripure for God's approval of dating. However, Genesis 24:1-end, gave us a little description of how isaac met rebbecca, pls, find time to read it. Moreover,  I believe that in a situation where, boyfriend or girlfriend is not allow, especially in a spiritual church, where the word of God is taught about fornication and adultery. The elders in the church must have sought the face of God on what to do, to avoid youthful lust. This is a an example of what they came up with. If a brother or sister pray to God for a future partner, and the Lord ministered to him or her, the brother or sister will proceed to the pastor or the marriage committe in their parish, to inform them, after that, they will wait if the sister has the same ministration from the Lord, the so called "Lord said"will be conveyed to the  sister, but they will not mention the name of the brother, the will be advised to pray on it, after sometime, if this is confirm from both of them, then the marriage committe will tell them to proceed on courtship, the christian courtship is a discipline one, no lustful desire, like what many people do not like, pre-marital sex ,kissing, petting, whatever, anything that can provoke sexual urge, that will lead to sex, must be  avoided, i know this is a hard saying, but i have passed through it 11years ago by God's Grace. In a Good church where the spirit of God is, the marriage committee will invite both of them and ask them question on certain critical issues, that will make the marriage a successfull one. They will try to find where they intend to live after marriage, what about the husband job? Are they doing anything to be able to sustain the family after marriage? Life is a mystery, life is not fair, life doesn't give back to you ,what you give to it, life is full of trouble, life is a mixture of joy and sorrow, life is not a piece of cake, life is a field of battle, life can be so hard, life is short, there is anothe life after death. To be honest with you, this life is to prove to God that you are worthy of the next life after death. Amy winehouse has come and gone, those of us who are left behind, should know that, death is not a respecter of age, at the of age of 27. Gone so soon. What a short life? Many young people used to say i am still young, i have a lot of years ahead of me, death is for the old people. As if they are the owner of their life, the life God has given you, is a borrowed life, one day the owner of the life will ask for it. So, we need to live our life as if today is the last day. Let me share this story, two ladies were in front of bus that was heading to a particular place, then an old man was sitting somewhere in the bus and he started preaching in the bus, two ladies started to speak against the old man, saying, baba, (father) you are old, keep quiet, you have enjoyed your life, you are old now to serve God, but we are young, we also want to enjoy our life. After sometime, the journey continue, until there was a serious accidents, two ladies died instantly but the rest of the passengers inside the vehicle were saved. Life is short. As if they are the owner of their life, the life God has given you, is a borrowed life, one day the owner of the life will ask for it. So, we need to live our life as if today is the last day. Let me share this story, two ladies were in front of bus that was heading to a particular place, then an old man was sitting somewhere in the bus and he started preaching in the bus, two ladies started to speak against the old man, saying, baba, (father) you are old, keep quiet, you have enjoyed your life, you are old now to serve God, but we are young, we also want to enjoy our life. After sometime, the journey continue, until there was a serious accidents, two ladies died instantly but the rest of the passengers inside the vehicle were saved. Life is short. We need to be careful with our way of living. May the soul of amy winehouse rest in peace. God bless. Sin. No, it is a not a sin if you are not married, infact, it will make you a better christian, heavenly focused, but the question is : do you the Grace of God to control your passion? Open your bible to 1corithians 7:7-9: "for i would that all men were even as i myself. But every man hath his proper of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is Good for them if they abide even as i . But if they cannot contain (have self control) let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." verse 32:" but i would have withou carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord". In this present generation where there is so much temptation from the opposite sex, how would you survive? We are in perilious time, things are getting worst, day by day, not only in nigeria, but all over the world. There are plenty of avenues to fall into immorality, ladies expose the most sensitive part of their body to lure men into sin. Now, tell me , how would you stay without getting married? Unless you want to deceive yourself. If you say, you want to be man of God, pastor or whatever, that is even worst, because daughters of eve will come for counselling. So the best you can do is to get marry. Now, how do you get the right person to marry?. The book of proverb says "he that findeth a good wife obtain favour from the Lord" has God favoured you? Are you a Godly person yourself? If your answer is yes, then you need to seek the face of the one who created marriage for your missing rib? But there is a big problem with that, what you want may not be what God want for you, You may be looking for perfection, but nobody is perfect, infact, if you are looking for a perfect wife, it may difficult. Pls. Check yourself very well, you will discover that you are not perfect, perfection belong to God. Nevertheless, there are still some good sisters out there, correct your own imperfection first, get a job, do something to bring income for you. Be compassionate, forgiving, humble, and positive about getting a wife. You have a great responsibility, as a man, to make your marriage work. Pray to God on it. Many things are wrong with your love for a jehovah witness. 2corinthians 6:14-17 " be not unequally yoke together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness? What concord hath christ with belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? What agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said,i will dwell in them and walk in them and i will be their God and they shall be my people" One of the greatest decision you can ever take on earth is concerning your marriage, if you succed in it, life will be pleasant for you, but if you fail, it is like living hell on earth. So you need to consult the creator of the marriage institution which is God. A lot of effort was taking by God to create eve, you have to seek the face of God in fasting and prayer, so that you will not marry your enemy. What are you looking for in a lady ? Is it the beauty or character? Beauty is deceptive. Character is the best. I am sure in that your RCCG parish, there is a sister for you there, but because, you have not pray, you do not have the agape love for her, the agape love will come after intensive prayer, your body begins to glow towards the sister in your parish. I am saying this because i have experieced it, i am married now, and i am enjoying the marriage, i sought the face of God for some days befor God reveal my future partner to me. Nothing Good come easy, you have to strive for it. Please do not marry a jehovah witness on basis of love. Be patient. If she is the will of God for you, God knows how to change the entire family, you should even be praying for the salvation of their souls, instead of saying you want marry her. First thing first, money is not everything, although the bible say money answereth all things, that has been misinterpreted. Money could be a defense, but the truth is, the more money you have, the more complicated your life become. And if you do not have it you will think, you are the most miserable man on earth.while not ask those who made a lot of money fraudulently how they ended.The bible has this to say : Jeremiah 17:11" as the patridge sitteth on eggs, and hatchet them not;so he that getteth riches and not by right (fraudulently), shall leave them in the midst of his days and at the end shall be a fool." However, if you want to become God's billionaire, that is rich toward God, it is possible, "Thou shall remember the Lord thy God, it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth" Deut 8:18. One thing is sure, God is not a magician, you have to be patient, you have to work hard, you have to pray for it and more than any other thing, he will only bless you if you obey him 100 percent, love God passionately, Give to his work and project with everything you have, pay your tithe and offerings, be a generous person, be willing to help people around you. Although, God can see your heart that you want to provide job and help a lot of people, you have got to prove to God that you can do it, that is, you must have the character to be a divine treasure who God can trust and commit wealth into his hand. Think and be creative, look for something new, that no one has never done, and of course, God will reveal it to you, what to do to Get wealth. I am talking about aprii to may last year 2O1O it was for an official assingnment. All i can say about these clashes in Jos is that, religious killing was not rampant during those period, my conclusion is that the press seem to worsen the situation by sensational headline, up till now,our people are still there, yoruba,ibo. Morever, christians and muslims must accept the fact that, one cannot go for the other, that is you cannot destroy one for the other to stay, it is not possible, we must imbibe the spirit of tolerance. Great effort had been taking during the period of 14 to 19 century to eliminate christian, there is a name for them MARTYR, christians were crucified, beheaded,slain with sword, thrown to lion den, tied to fire stick and burned alive. Now, christianity is still waxing stronger. Could you please inform those who are trying to eliminate christianity that it is not a new thing, what they are doing is to expand the Gospel of our Lord Jesus christ, Nobody can stop God. The more the persecution, the more spreading of the gospel.
