PoliticsRe: GE Breaks Ground For $250m Manufacturing And Assembly Plant In Calabar by Goddex: 8:23pm On Jun 16, 2013
DaLover: There are two options to choose, eko lie and his Lappy crew or GE who is bringing their $250 m into the country run by GEJ, whose verdict should I choose from?
One of the complaints held against the Nigerian system by international investors was the lack of continuity by governance, here we have government who is see through plans initiated by his successors and you don't think it's commendable?

Lets assume that GEJ is running down this country as you have us believe, do you think that GE would still bring their $250m to nigeria because they signed an agreement with OBJ in 1900 ? For our information the environment GEJ has created is responsible for foreign investors coming into all or any parts of the country including Lagos.

You dey mind am? Was it not as recently as Obasanjo dispensation that Textile companies, Michelin, Dunlop etc were closing shops to relocate to neighbouring Ghana? Now that with sound economic management and heavy investment in infrastructure they can see prospects and are coming back, he will still be here scampering from all over the thread trying to derail it.
PoliticsRe: GE Breaks Ground For $250m Manufacturing And Assembly Plant In Calabar by Goddex: 7:47pm On Jun 16, 2013
Eko Ile, GEJ is working. Nigeria is working. We are marching forward. You and your cohorts can keep whining. If you like jump into 3rd mainland lagoon, nobody gives a damn!!! It' your type Abati will describe as "brainless" and "medieval era ignoramus"
PoliticsRe: Why Do Yorubas Hate GEJ So Much? by Goddex:
OP, I am partly Yoruba and love GEJ. I also have a good number of Yoruba friends and neighbours who feel the poor man is trying and cannot satisfy everybody. A couple others agree or disagree with him and give you reasons but really others feel the tribe is not well represented at the center and will criticise with all their venom whether good or bad.

But who do we blame with this whole issue of inadequate representation at the center? We have five key posts in the hierarchy of the FG. The zone was fortunate to have been allocated Speaker of House of Rep's even almost after it recently produced The President. Our own ACN rejected our own daughter Mulikat with so much media propaganda to discredit her and teamed up with Tambuwal instead so that they alone will remain to be worshipped by everybody.
PoliticsRe: GE Breaks Ground For $250m Manufacturing And Assembly Plant In Calabar by Goddex:
Eko Ile: Just another Jonathan response with no fluff. Show me the lie and let's go at it if you get liver....the only thing that joker is embarrassing me with is his cassava bread brains and lowly mentality

BTW,
I won't waste my MB arguing with you but note that you cannot mislead anyone especially here on nairaland because this whole effort by the GEJ govt to attract this investment from GE was widely reported in the media and even made front page a couple of times here on nairaland.

Bad belle is your problem. Even your closest pal GBAWE will be ashamed of you for such mischivious distortion of facts.
PoliticsRe: GE Breaks Ground For $250m Manufacturing And Assembly Plant In Calabar by Goddex: 3:48pm On Jun 16, 2013
Eko-Ile, your hate is getting out of hand. I pray you don't suffer hypertension because GEJ will continue to embarrass you and your paymasters.

It beats me that you could go to this lenght trying to lie about well known facts. Why find it so difficult giving credit to a performing government?
PoliticsRe: Patience - Port-Harcourt Lost Its Attraction In Amaechi's Reign by Goddex: 11:41am On Jun 16, 2013
Now I see clearly the mischief of our media. I attended that occasion and listened to her and other guest from A - z. The woman never made mention of Ameach's. She was only delighted to have Peter Odili, Ada George and Celestine Omehia assembled together by Nyesom Wike and praised Wike profusely as a man committed to uniting the good people of Rivers state.
PoliticsRe: GE Breaks Ground For $250m Manufacturing And Assembly Plant In Calabar by Goddex: 9:33am On Jun 16, 2013
GEJ is working. Tribal haters are hating but Nigeria is moving forward.

Team fresh air!!!
PoliticsRe: ACN Advises Abati To Mind His Language by Goddex: 11:03pm On Jun 13, 2013
Gombs: He called buhari a "serial election loser"
God I luff dat phrase

Called ribadu "Ribadu Is An Ethically-challenged Hypocrite"
God I mite choke wen ever I remember dis sentence

And this is the killer punch he gave ribadu

"We find it very sad and utterly deplorable that Nuhu Ribadu has
resorted to shameless wolf-crying, the peddling of arrant
falsehood and the denigration of the elected government of his
fatherland in furtherance of his selfish quest for continued
national political relevance after his wholesale rejection by
Nigerian voters in 2011."

Damn!...I love this wan pass esp d latter parts

And you are here saying GEJ shd call him to order? Did you tell buhari or tinubu to call Lai mohd n ribadu to order?

You must be an onye ofe ose, abi?
I also love his description of Fashakin, Buhari's spokesman as "a medieval era and brainless ignoramus"

Truth is, for a very long time, these so called opposition spokesmen had propagated barrage of lies and disinformation of the Nigerian public that even Satan oftentimes get shocked. Abati has no option than to return fire for fire especially knowing now that his press statements touch them. He should redouble effort instead and never relent.
PoliticsRe: Why NAMA Diverted Wamakko’s Aircraft by Goddex: 10:35pm On Jun 13, 2013
Some nairaland babies are so annoying. I have seen an aerial video of the crowd that beseeched the airport and the plane hovering in the air for almost 20mins before I think it was diverted to go land in Kaduna instead. The writer of this story deliberately left out details in order to pass his mischivious message.
CelebritiesRe: Omotola Blasts FG For Mistreating Nigerians by Goddex: 1:54pm On Jun 13, 2013
I think Omotola is attacking governments at all levels - Federal, States and LG's. The heading is misleading and the OP is merely playing mischief. Moderators should not encourage this and should please modify the title to reflect her message.

The lady does not rely on government and is making cool cash with her talent. I know she will not want to be caught in the Web of political sentiments and ethno religious division that characterised present day Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: B*r*e*a*k*i*n*g News!: Finally The Sponsors Of Boko Haram Step Out by Goddex: 7:15pm On Jun 06, 2013
I remember here on nairaland when Buhari misled so many folks claiming that Boko Haram is PDP and PDP is Boko Haram and people believed him. Gradually, Nigerians are knowing the truth. Buhari and his gang are exposing themselves to the world.

PoliticsRe: APC Leaders Angry With Buhari Over State Of Emergency Comments by Goddex: 6:11am On Jun 05, 2013
Even the Bible says "From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". No matter how APC try to manage his public utterances to pretend he is a national figure, the man will keep disgracing them. The man is a bigot, a fanatic, an extremist and full of hate for Christians. He enjoys the bombings and spilling of blood. That is why he has never sympathised with Christians nor condemn his men when they bomb innocent church members.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Adamant, Vows Not To Step Down As Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman by Goddex: 10:09pm On Jun 04, 2013
The superman Amaechi is obviously becoming born again now oh. Imagine him mentioning "God" and "Christian" almost throughout the interview.
PoliticsRe: ACN To Maku - “You Are A Serial Blackmailer” by Goddex: 7:31pm On Jun 04, 2013
eko ilee: This maku clown is still mad because Fashola saw his scam tour and dodge it...

Imagine Fashola standing next to this crooked clown discussing projects in Lagos state... Eewo..

1. The con man and extortionist is on his scam tour to show Nigerians ongoing FG projects in Lagos state, not to tell us what road is FG road or not.

2. The FG roads in Lagos are all old roads with nothing to do with GEJ or any PDP administration ever.

3. The clown said BRTs are running on federal roads, but Ikorodu road is not a federal road, it belongs to the Lagos state government, they run and maintain that road after the worthless FG failed to maintain it just like the rest of the so called FG roads this idiot was shouting all over the place like a lunatic.

4. Unfortunately, this clown forgot to show us the current FG projects in Lagos state.
@bolded
Shameless liar, Ikorodu road is a federal road and also maintained by FERMA. LASG used to forward bills to FG for refunds whenever it intervenes in fixing it although they are now begging to take over the road because of the BRT it operates there.
PoliticsRe: ACN To Maku - “You Are A Serial Blackmailer” by Goddex:
The ACN spokesman is focusing too much on tarnishing Maku's person instead of proving him wrong on the allegation that about 70% of the roads in Lagos Island for instance belong to FG and that all Fashola does is provide sanitation and traffic control. You see, our politicians are very deceptive because even when Fashola intervenes in a Federal road and refunds are made to him by Federal Govt, they will not announce it. Maku has this information at his finger tips and knew what he was talking about.
PoliticsRe: Patience - Women Behind My Husband's Success by Goddex: 11:08am On Jun 01, 2013
Really, the performance of Okonjo Iweala, Stella Odua and Allison Madueke is worthy of commendation. In addition to the PIB, I don't know the magic Madueke did but Nigerians are almost forgetting anything like fuel scarcity exists. Driving into a service station for fuel could not be more pleasurable than it has been in her tenure. Something past petroleum ministers struggled with for about 25yrs.

The Prof in charge of Power ministry should copy from her by taking aggressive measures to stabilize the power situation and he will be a hero. He received lots of hype from his former students at UNN and should not let them down. Nigerians are running out of patience and cannot wait for the day they will start taking electricity for granted.
PoliticsRe: Ayobo/ipaja Road Under Construction: Is Fashola Working Or Not? by Goddex: 10:46am On Jun 01, 2013
Good one. I know this road well. Kudos to LASG. Although, there are allegations of corruption among Fashola's men and some contractors that led to work being stalled for a long while.
PoliticsRe: LASG Plans Total Water Supply By 2020 by Goddex: 7:49am On Jun 01, 2013
seunmsg: Dia is no steady public water supply round the clock in abuja. Infact, there is no public water supply at all to most areas in abuja not to talk of a round the clock supply. I live in a very big estate here and dias no public water supply at all. Everybody here is on borehole.
Where in Abuja?
I live in Lagos though but shuttles Abuja like every month.
My company's staff qtrs in Wuse 2 does not have a borehole and hardly lacks water.
PoliticsRe: LASG Plans Total Water Supply By 2020 by Goddex: 7:20am On Jun 01, 2013
olu_kenzo :
Most of the folks talking crap here are just plain silly. There are mini-water works littered all over Lagos providing portable water, FOC, to a substantial population of dwellers of areas as; Badore, Bode Thomas, Costain etc.

Ofcourse there is the issue of catering for a larger population size (I have seen situations where the pipes lose pressure when laid over extended distances) and also vandalism by some of our people (private and road builders alike). Tackling these issues should go a long way in improving the effectiveness of the projects.

Nevermind what the naysayers say, BRF's class is stellar.
Ole, stop making excuses for a government that has failed. And why won't Lagos remain the third worst city to live in in the world. Many Chinese and Indian cities are far more populous than Lagos but have basic things like public water supply in place. Cairo is more populous than Lagos but has a perfect public water supply scheme. The water pipes like crude oil pipes will be buried deep underground with junctions for people to connect to their homes. I was in Calabar sometimes early last year and for three months running water supply failed for just two days. I remember the cries anger on people's faces until the authorities came on air to plead with the masses to bear with them citing maintenance as the excuse. The Abuja water supply scheme is also perfect atleast these are the two cities I can confirm their public water supply.
PoliticsRe: Rivers ACN Calls For The Removal Of Amaechi by Goddex: 8:26pm On May 31, 2013
Anybody that is based in Rivers state be he ACN, PDP, LP etc understands the arrogance of Amaechi. Most of these ACN asss lickers on nairaland that have never traveled outside South West will come here disrespecting Jang out of ignorance.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Gets Court Order Against His Suspension By PDP by Goddex: 7:39pm On May 31, 2013
oloriooko: A Port Harcourt High Court has stopped the PDP from taking further action against the Governor Chibuike Amaechi as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum pending hearing on the suit challenging the suspension by the Party.
Amaechi was not suspended because of Governors Forum. Amaechi was suspended because of his refusal to recall the elected Chairman and Councillors of Obio/Akpor LGA that he sacked. I am sorry, but either his lawyer or this journalist is talking out of point.
PoliticsRe: LASG Plans Total Water Supply By 2020 by Goddex: 7:22pm On May 31, 2013
It's a very big shame on opposition ACN for a State they have ruled for 14 years only to start promising pipe borne water in 2020. Municipal water supply is a sole responsibility of the state government so Tinubu and the loudmouth Liar Muhammed cannot play that their usual pusssy cat tricks of pushing blames on FG.

Why 2020? Calabar and Abuja are examples of Nigerian cities that have steady public water supply round the clock and it took them just a few years to do that. Besides, Fashola's term ends in 2015. It looks like this is an indirect way of telling Lagosians to forget about Pipe borne water.
PoliticsRe: 35 Governors Voted During NGF Election – Fayemi by Goddex:
Fayemi claims Uduaghan was the returning officer. In an election, it is the returning officer that collates and announce results. Why then was the DG Governors Forum made to announce the results instead of Uduaghan?

Fayemi is obviously lying. That election was inconclusive. I gathered reliably that disagreements started midway into the elections when Amaechi refused to step down and also accept Jang as concensus candidate. Besides, he was still exercising his powers as chairman and overruling suggestions from the pro Jang group. This got the Pro Jang governors pissed-off and they abandoned the meeting and left Rivers state lodge venue of the meeting for Akwa Ibom lodge. The remaining 16 pro Amaechi governors seized that opportunity to pressure the DG Governors Forum to announce a concocted result.
PoliticsRe: What Has Jonathan Done For Niger Delta? by Goddex: 6:44am On May 27, 2013
The 4 lanes East West Road you guys are emphasising on is ongoing as we speak with bridges. That road is not like Fashola asphalting a street here in Lagos. Infact, that road alone is more than all the roads constructed by Tinubu in 8yrs as Lagos state governor. It's one very long stretch of road cutting across about six states. It's a massive project and will not be finished in a blink of an eye.

[color=#990000:

Mafia = Criminals, Junkies, Gangsters, Thugs, Thieves, Armed-rubbers, Smugglers, Kidnappers, Terrorists, etc.[/color][/b]

Today's opposition politicians in Nigeria and other well meaning Nigerians, like Gov Ameachi, who believe in following democratic principles will not stoop so low to read Mafia handouts.

Jang, Akpabio, Mimiko and their Oga can go ahead and play in the muds. Imagine how they are extracting signatures from full body governors like victims of kidnappers!
The bolded just exposes you as one of those haters. So today, the quiet Jang, GEJ, Mimiko, Obi etc are anti democratic and the opposition - the high handed Tinubu (who hand picks candidates for election), the bigot Buhari (who derailed our democracy), the deceptive Lai Muhammed (who can lie about anything for politics) the arrogant Amaechi (who will sack an elected LGA chairman and all the councillors) are now your choice Democrats?
PoliticsRe: Fayemi: NGF Election Was Free And Fair, Too Late To Abort by Goddex: 6:37pm On May 26, 2013
Agbalanze: Am not with GEJ on this issue.. Period!
What has GEJ done that you are not with him? Is GEJ a fellow governor. Did GEJ conduct or contest any election?

For your information, that NGF election was not conclusive. The 19 pro - Jang governors got angry midway and left Rivers state lodge, venue of the meeting for Akwa Ibom lodge leaving behind only 16 pro Amaechi supporters because Amaechi refused to step down nor accept Jang as concensus chairman. They arranged with the DG after others have left to announce their result. They are talking about video, why don't they show it to Nigerians. The so - called 19 against 16 votes was concocted after others have left the venue. Let Amaechi convene a meeting of his 19 governors and let the whole world see. The 19 pro - Jang governors are meeting and talking tough. Why is the Amaechi camp quite? Their conscience is judging them.
PoliticsRe: Abati - Jonathan Didnt Miss Slot At AU 50th Anniversary by Goddex: 6:08pm On May 26, 2013
Our APC hawks in Nairaland abhor this kind of explanation. They prefer only negative comments and will give a blind eye to this or try to prove Abati wrong even when they were not there.
PoliticsRe: El-rufai And His Two Daughters By Femi Fani-kayode by Goddex:
Is it now that El - Rufai left government that he suddenly realised there is unemployment? My elder sister was unemployed for almost 4yrs during Obasanjo's tenure when all of you were in government and busy sharing the national cake. She only got a job during Yar'adua's tenure. We are wiser than your antics Fani-Kayode since you are turning yourself to be an ally of Lie - Rufai. You guys created this mess we are in and making it look as if the problem is peculiar to the current administration is mere deceit and mischief.

Besides, El - Rufai told the world that his two daughters have been at home for almost a year and he could not get jobs for them:

1) We knew he was telling us some blatant lies just to score political points while as usual paint the current administration black as if the situation was any better when he was in government.

2) Nigerian youths had also wondered whether it was the duty of El - Rufai himself to go looking for jobs for his daughters. His statement only confirmed the general believe that for you to have a job you must know one Oga at the top. So, what about those people who do not have anyone in the calibre of El - Rufai up there? Why shouldn't El - Rufai allow his daughters to compete on a level playing field for available jobs with every other candidate - whether from rich or poor background?
