spencer3705: @spencer, Relax guy! Why are you so into this tho! Who cares about who lies about getting their TRV or not. Its themselves they are doing now. Why are so into this like ur life depends on it. You've been hammering on this issue since I joined the thread. You can upload ur trv or even ur whole passport.. Lol.. if u want, but who honestly cares. I have my trv and I don't owe it to anyone to know if I indeed av it or not. And I think I speak for every TRV holder too I think. Just thot ill comment. Ill be honest with you, these is one of the reasons why I avent been so keen on adding u on facebook or connecting with you before we leave for usassk. You seem agressive and ill rather not associate myself wit peeps like that till I at least get there. No doubt, uv helped a lot on the forum, but uve also caused a lot of drama u couldve avoided like wen u pretty much condemned siga ( that guy has been more than a blessing to this thread), among others. Don't take this as an insult but I just thot ill put u were u belong in this case. J20: I'm flying united airlines. Paid about 280K. But keep in mind you need a transit/ visitor visa to fly united since they transit through the US. |

Thank you all so much for your kind words. Here is my timeline : turned in doc at VAC - 28/06/2012 got to CDHC - 29/06/2012 medical call - 28/09/2012 - date printed on my medical document (although status didnt change unitil oct 4th, 2012)- No other conditions attached. medicals done - 09/10/2012 TRV pickup - 31/10/2012 So the whole process took me exactly like 4 months. documents i turned in 1) all the forms dated and signed, paasport photos, passport - both old and new ( include your old passport if you have travel history) 2) last six month payslips, statement of account, shares documents, letter form my sponsor stating she is my sister and her finiancial responsibilty 3) undergrad diploma, Waec result,undergraduate transcript, deans list awards certificates... 4) usask admission letter and scholarship offer letter 5) Police certificate of good character 6) My resume/CV with evidence of my previous job experience ( i did a bunch of internships during my undergrad, so i included offer letters and proof of my job experience) Hope this helps. I didnt inlclude any home ties and i was actaully really worried about that - but thank God, he still did it. So new applicants if you have home ties , do not hesiatate to add. thank you all soo much for your help. i wish everyone a succesful TRV journey too |

Please help me praise the Lord. This is a miracle - I was already getting worrisome. Just checked my status now and it has changed to "our application has been assessed by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate General of Canada and is being returned to the centre where you applied". I take it as my trv is ready! I won't be able to make it to VAC until tommorrow morning, please pray its my TRV and ill definately keep u guys posted! God will do each and every one of your heart desires! Amen. |

Please let's try not to mislead people on this site. Please. I don't think anyone can do you any harm by knowing what day you really turned in ur application. It really just causes chaos when u realised someone that submitted the same time you did have heard from VAC for medicals when they really haven't. I'm glad u realised what u did was wrong. Just checked my status and its changed to "please contact the Visa Application Centre for further instructions , your attention is required at the earliest".Please help me thank God. Ill be going to vac tmr to see the condition and would keep the house posted. |

I'm soooryyy! Nawa oh. This is like the third person I know that applied June 18 that got denied. This news just made me sad, we need more good news in the house abeg, to keep our hopes high. Ill say you still go ahead and use the same sponsor since he is provididng you with the required documents, proof your relationship with him and fire back adressing all their concerns. Don't worry, it is well, whatver will be will be. On a diffrenet note, anyone that applied june ending or early July heard anything?. I applied june 29th and still no news!
