please I have been seeking to print nin slip cuz I lost the one I was given in 2015. Their office within my area has not opened for two months. Does anybody know whether any of nimc offices in lagos is working?
Save yourself the energy, look for an affordable university and apply for a full time, on-campus course that would offer you a chance of getting a job after graduation. I hope your intention is not to study online so that you can work more than 20hrs a week?
I will do just what you stated. As for job, I'm not putting any hope on that. I know a lot of my colleagues that are back after LLM programme cuz they cudnt secure a job
You are setting yourself up for a massive disappointment..though i have to give you credit for asking these questions now before you get your money involved in this project, i really hope you make an informed decision.
Don't risk it..do the right thing.
okay you guys are right. I will take your advice. Thanks
okay thanks. I will make further enquiry to see if one can convert to online learning when one gets into the school on-campus programme. If possible to convert, I will apply for on-campus and then convert to online learning so long it won't affect PSW Thank you
Then change your course ..... especially if you don't have money then aim for a better future and a one that can get you a job
Travelling with the mind set that you want to overstay and then not aiming to get a job
The truth is that we all have different objectives for travelling. My objective is to have more free time to work and repay loan I will collect, then have some good savings before 3 years elapse so that I could be able to relocate to another country and start a life.
There is no need for me being optimistic that I will get a job in UK except I switch to core IT or health related courses that will affect my chances of graduation and probably disrupt my hope of PSW. Besides I'm a lawyer. UK law firms are yet to employ 20% of their citizens with law degrees before considering migrants. Planning is very essential for me. I don't want to be blindly optimistic
Does the £15k cover your fees and maintenance money?
Thank you justwise. its not part of maintenance. It covers tuition fee that will be paid in 3 instalments for a part time programme of 2 years.
Please kindly help me analyse if I could recoup the money from casual jobs and still have some good savings before PSW expires. I believe this step is better than being unemployed in Nigeria.
In your opinion, do you think Australia will be better to pursue the above goal
Dreemerr: I think you can stay back if you are earning enough or could relocate to Canada, us or Australia there you can earn more and the opportunity is more, please kindly connect me with that sources of loan let me borrow £4k my matter is settled.
The source is a family member like I mentioned. It's just the affinity that qualifies me for the loan and impossible for an outsider to get it.
Canada immigration process is extremely cumbersome and I don't have good GPA to get direct Master Degree programme. Australia is very very expensive. I think UK falls within my budget
mimilyrics: In addition to the quoted comment below, bear in mind the following, in no particular order:
1. you might not get a job immediately you get into the UK.
2. When/If you get a job at minimum wage or at a slightly higher rate, you will be make about £184 weekly and roughly £736 or slightly higher monthly during term time. You should be able to make more during non-term time but this is usually not feasible till after you submit your dissertation because the holidays between the 3 terms are quite short.
3. Is the $15,000 inclusive of maintenance (rent, food, transport or phone bills)? Or is it just for maintenance with your school fees paid via other means?
4. If the $15,000 is just for the course fees and isn't inclusive of maintenance and you succeed in showing the balance in a different way, how do you intend to meet up with your monthly repayment plan? This is because rent, transport, food and phone costs (roughly around £500-600 depending on several factors) will come out of the around £746 that you might be earning monthly.
5. Your monthly payment will have a fixed repayment date and missing this date will attract penalties which will increase the overall amount you have to pay back. Are you ready for this if it happens?
6. Is the 15k inclusive of interest or without? What's the total with interest?
7. You might not have up to what you need to repay monthly by your monthly instalments deadline. Is the loan giver flexible with payment dates? i.e. moving the date by a few days.
8. If you get over stressed as a result and don't engage with your course as you should, it could lead to undesirable outcomes. You wouldn't want issues with your grades and your T4 sponsor because you can only take advantage of the PSW if you successfully complete your course.
9. Some of the above questions/points are based on the premise that the loan giver might want to treat this as a legal business transaction and get a lawyer involved because of the loan amount. If some of the points don't apply to the loan terms and conditions, kindly discount them.
PS: it's a tough one as @skymoore has said and on some days, you might lose your mojo, be disillusioned or even breakdown as a result. It's all grit and no child's play so critically think your options through. If you don't have to start repaying the loan immediately though, you can make the money in less than your anticipated time span depending on your lifestyle and tastes but you'll have to put in the time.
Thank you very much for your deep analysis. Please does it worth it staying back after PSW has expired just to earn some money, repay the loan and relocate to another country cuz I'm 100% certain that my course of study cannot get me a job in UK. So my primary intention is to leave the country through that means since I'm presently earning nothing here.
Please I need an advice of guru in the house. I'm contemplating on taking loan from a family member to finance my postgraduate education in UK. Is it possible to pay back a loan of $15000 from casual job within 3 years(including 2 years post graduation visa) that I will be entitled to stay in UK.
that's not why they are at the top. btw, the fraternities as you call it, are not bad neither are they evil. the one who joins the esoteric organization because he thinks there is connection there, will only get disappointed! or you think people don't get disappointed in the Freemasonry and the Rosicrucian Order? also, the church's penchant for demonizing what it does not understand is also another reason why people will go to join these organizations thinking it is a ticket into fame, wealth and connection and also an avenue to hit their enemies.
also, if by any chance, there are a lot of lawyers in there and these lawyers are successful (and there are), then it is possibly because they are well read! anyone who is knowledge inclined, stands out! they have a good sense of justice and fairness. and they know how to argue their point as a result of their vast exposure to knowledge and wisdom, a thing the average scripture quoting fundamentalist born again despise and as a result, they fall behind members of esoteric organization who are by the way Christians and Muslims and any other religion out there, but with a difference.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRP8CbhbW4c after watching those short videos, i would like to ask if you took note of the eloquence? and please remind me if eloquence is one of the qualities of a good lawyer or not? and did you notice he said those beautiful things out of the content of his person, without memorizing it. at least, it doesn't look to me like he memorized them. you see, a man is just by nature; and as he gives himself to consideration, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, that goodness in him glows even brighter! so can you now see why they may be common in your profession, law? afterall, they were responsible for founding a country, like you saw in that video. a country based on freedom and justice, which you will agree with me, are the foundations of law in civilized countries. so them dominating your profession, as you say, is probably not because they are favoured by the devil, like a lot of you want to believe, but because of what i have mentioned above. to the one who is corrupt, all things appear corrupt; to the one who is evil, all things appear evil; and to the one who is good all things appear good, at least, that's the first thing that meets his eyes as he looks at a thing.
Please don't lecture me on spirituality. I never said the esoteric organizations are evil. Probably you need to re-read my post. I am not fit to judge on what is good and bad since both are aspect of existence.
Some lawyers and judges join because of the level of personalities in it. There's no way you roll with such personalities without getting contracts and connections. I was merely hinting on the social power of esoteric organizations like ROF etc, and one must have attained some level of comfort to qualify as a member
The truth of the whole matter is that the profession is over saturated as someone has already pointed out.
I had a very high hope that I would hit it big after law school but have come to realize that the available lucrative briefs in the industry are reserved for the connected or those that are opportuned to join few esoteric spiritual circles in the society.
Law is a noble profession. It is not for the poor or unconnected. My advice to every young lawyer is to upgrade your class and finance in order to join a social circle that can bring that big brief. You may travel out of the country for a while and come back when you upgrade your status.
A lot of lawyers and judges are into fraternities. It's all about your level of connection. But you can be successful and survive on hardwork and consistency even though it's going to take time
You only paid for his signature and ID. The said agreement can be found by simply using Google. Most business centres have these agreements and contracts of sales in their numbers. I have a lot too on my laptop, and I'm not a lawyer.
I guess you are ignorant of study hours and stress involved in becoming a lawyer and having an NBA stamp.
That's how people think they know it all by using drafted agreements online without understanding the legal implication of clauses therein
Even if he employed, the Nigerian business was frustrated by LASG which made him to go back to the US.
I don't understand how your employment would have prevented his murder.
Get spiritual knowledge.. You are a simulated entity being influenced by all activities of your past lives. Some have good karma and some have bad karma. Look beyond your 3D self and know what awaits your future. Bye
Blame it on illiteracy and lack of wisdom. No learned or wise man won't carry his wife or children along in all his dealings.
I'm in my late twenties yet have a diary where I put down all my login details to my mobile apps, binance account etc and inform my younger brother of that.
Although I have so little at this stage but if something should happen to me along the way, it will take care of little expenses.
Anybody can die anytime. People go out and never return.
If the HR had hired me as the P.A of this guy November 2018 when he lived at Ikeja GRA and i was interviewed for that position, I would have erased the bad karma he accumulated in the past lives through energy work.
This is as a result of bad karma of past lives. Something must make it happen. Many people are blind thinking life is all about 3D dimension.
laiza: Oga Ade it is like something de worry you. Dem send you to me? For your information this is the latest ruling on working as an immigrant in Norway; Can foreigners work in Norway? If you come from a country outside the EU/EEA and wish to work in Norway, you need a residence permit. If you do not already have a residence permit, you must apply for a residence permit for work. Previously this was called a work permit.
Want to apply: Work immigration - UDIwww.udi.no › want-to-apply › work-immigration Search for: Can foreigners work in Norway?
Aside permit, it is very very hard to get a job as a foreigner now. Let's forget what we find online and hear experience of people living in Norway. Don't believe anything you read online until you hear experience of others
