Reports have it that some Nigerians who traveled to witness the 2018 World Cup in Russia are stranded and are unable to come back home due to some restraints. Some of the travelers fled into other countries from Russia in order obtain Schengen visa and also getting stranded in the process.

According to reports, the victims have only FAN IDs, which the Russian government issued as a visa substitute to foreigners traveling to attend the FIFA World Cup. This means they can’t use the document to get a job. With nowhere to go, they’re going about Russia looking for help.

Hear their plea to the Nigerian and Russian governments;

"We came here to come and plead to our government in Nigeria because all of us came here to watch football, and we paid our flight tickets to and fro. "But unfortunately, we cannot get return back to Nigeria because our return tickets were cancelled and it is so disappointing to us as we never planned to stay in Russia."

"We want to go back and that is why we are pleading to both our government and that of Russia to help us."

Hello Fam!
I've been wondering why it is difficult to graduate with a first-class here in Nigeria (federal universities). I was on first-class from my 100 to 300 level. but coming to 400 level, I got an E in a four credit unit course which made me short of first-class slightly. i feel it was an intentional act by my department. why is it like that?
does anyone have such experience or probably heard of any?? pls share your experiences and views on this so we get comforted.

A tanker laden with fuel caught fire this evening on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on the bridge near the Otedola Housing Estate, claiming lots of lives and cars.

A school bus with kids in it reportedly got burnt too.

A man whose car got burnt in the explosion has told when he saw the tanker fall and when he quickly took his phone and left his car when he saw fuel gushing out.

According to him, he also told another man parked behind him to run out, but he refused.

A woman was shell shocked after a cooking tragedy was averted. It was revealed that the woman found a lizard in her food while preparing the sumptuous meal for her family. No one knows what would have eventually happened to her and her family had they eaten the meal with the little reptile mixed in the pot of soup.

The woman has now called for caution among other women to be careful when cooking to avert this kind of unpleasant situation.

Below is what she wrote;

" God saved my life.I finished cooking my seed sauce. I had to crush the condiments now. By the time I mixed the sauce I see a lizard (Salamander) in my sauce. When I think my whole family would die that day because of me. I throw a call to all women to be careful when they cook "

In case you guys never knew, a wall gecko is deadly, it's so poisonous that for its saliva to touch a humans toothbrush, it kills, you get sick and doctors keep running like soldiers in a battlefield and still the patient dies, that's why toothbrush covers are advised for use,
A 2 year old child was spotted eating a dried wall gecko, almost 30 minutes later the child started acting funny, weak and vitals changed too, took some insane skills of a medical consultant to save that life, till date that boy is still not fully stable he physical appearance isn't normal, loose tongues sink ships, don't make people feel it's safe for geckos to be around the home.
