A Lagos woman identified as Esther Irawo, has been accused of killing her friend to reportedly hide her adulterous life after  she was caught. The 38-year-old mother of two had accused the deceased identified as Femi, of trying to ruin her home by informing her husband of seeing her in a hotel with another man. The 72-year-old father of late Femi who disclosed that he heard Femi shouting from his room that Irawo was trying to strangulate him, added that nobody cared to inquire what was going on because of the level of their friendship. The deceased’s mother, Rose Afolabi on her own part, said Femi never discussed the issue with Irawo’s husband, adding that somebody else might have done that.

The Lagos woman who allegedly killed her friend to hide her adulterous life, also tried killing her 31-year-old husband, Ezra Joseph, by poisoning his food. It was gathered that after the man refused to eat, she became confrontational, before pouring away the food and dropped their baby on his lap as she fled the house.Her husband who confirmed her alleged adulterous life, said  Irawo thought Femi was the one who reported her extramarital affairs to him. However according to him, apart from few instances when he got to know by himself, other people in the area also told him about her adulterous life.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Elkana Bala, who confirmed the incident, said the police were on the trail of the runaway Irawo. “We have a report of a woman, who allegedly hired thugs to kill her landlord’s son, Femi Afolabi, for telling her husband that he saw her with a man in a hotel. The woman has been on the run since that day. The police are investigating the matter and are on the trail of the woman,” Elkana added.

Majority of those that couldn't get medicine, pharmacy, Nursing are pushed to biochemistry, micro biology, physiology and even agric etc.

Once again, unlearn to think that anyone that studied allied medical course previously wanted to study medicine.

Fact 1, If you applied for medicine and didn't score the required cutoff, you can never be given other professional courses like Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy and the likes even if you have higher score that can get you any of the above listed courses.

Fact 2, Unlearn to think that anyone doing allied medical courses had previously wanted to study medicine. This is erroneous and hasty generalization.

Fact 3, Before she could graduate with such outstanding result, there is a high chance that the course had been her dream and passion, so putting the effort needed to achieve this was easy as taking pap compare to other food when one is ill.

sorry for your bitter state and I had to quote you, dear enlightened one be aware also that there are a certain number of certificates available at graduation level in medicine in most Nigerian universities, accreditations are another issue and only the best of the best are most likely to graduate from medicine a lot of candidates apply but the number stipulated for the course is limited ,but instead of increasing the capacity the authorities cut down and relegate these students to other related courses , you can now hold your comments , don't misquote me please , thanks

The labor and delivery unit of a Maine hospital will be having a harvested babies soon where nine of its nurses will give birth to their babies around the same time.
The labor and delivery nurses at Maine Medical Center in Portland are all due between April and July.

“After each one of us started to say, ‘We’re pregnant,’ I think it was a happier kind of announcement each time, and we’re all there for each other,” nurse Erin Grenier told CNN affiliate WMTW.
The hospital announced its baby boom Monday on social media and congratulated the mothers. Eight of them were featured in a picture showing their baby bumps.

The hospital responded to some people’s concerns regarding having enough staff in the summer, commenting “Don’t worry! We have a plan.”
