BoneBlogger: Various Nigerians who are currently detained in prison in Kenya are calling on the federal government to come to their aid. According to reports, some of the inmates are being held in custody over minor offences.
Prince Gwamnishu Harrison, the CEO Behind Bars Initiative who is currently in Nairobi, the cuntry's capital - paid a visit to the prisoners who narrated their ordeals.
Below is what he wrote on his social media page;
Today 8th March, 2018, I rounded up my "Prison Fame Project" (Season One) in Kenya. I felt it will be unjust to come back to Nigeria without facilitating the release of young Nigerians languishing behind bars. Among all that i screened, only one got my attention but others deserved our mercy.
HIS STORY '
Alexander Onyia from Onicha Uchie Ndokwa East L.G.A Delta State went to the police station and pleaded to them to help deport him back to Nigeria that he can't afford to purchase his flight ticket and his passport Visa will expire in few weeks. Alexander said he was detained and sent to Prison. (short Video clip attached).
For me to secure their release (16 Inmates), I will have to pay close to 32,000 Kenyan shillings (One Hundred and Six Thousand Naira- N106,000.
Do you have anyone in Government who can help facilitate Alexander deportation and others who have Visa issues?
Do you wish to support financially to pay for option of fines of these young Nigerians languishing behind bars?
Please share this post to get the attention of Federal Government and Delta State Government.

jbaby265: hello house please help a sister out.. my relationship of 6 to 7 years is about to crash.. I Love my man and he loves me too.. he stands by me in all times and I do the same for him too in fact our relationship is a typical example of grassroots relationship.. but recently I'm beginning to get frustrated at his attitude or should I say our attitude towards each other.. which is why I resorted to you guys.. this is a faceless forum so I feel comfortable to share my worries..
in recent years I found out that our quarrels, dispute, misunderstanding and bitterness has drastically increased and it bothers me alot.. he quarrel more often this days and can even stay up-to a month without communication.. he complains about everything I do and that's me angry.. AM NOT A SAINT HERE cos he complains of my non Challentless too.. but this our constant quarrels and misunderstanding is driving crazy.. I've cried and ask GOd to dissolve us if it's not his will for us to get married rather than us fighting all the time. HONESTLY AM CONFUSED PLEASE YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED. I love him and he loves me but we fight a lot.. our wedding is Sept ( still don't believe is possible though).. submit to his force, become passive and control ur mouth, stop reacting to every wrong he commits, observe for a month or two, if it persists he has either been charmed or is in another relationship |

During courtship, the lady said he was always coming to visit her with different cars and when she asked him, he told her he is a car dealer.
The truth was revealed when after four months into their union she discovered he works at a car wash bay. Read the post below :

I guess u r dropping the idea of building fence right now rather focusing on creating an imaginary fence or barrier. I mean blockage to all supplies in and out, stop all funds as much as possible, foods, weapons and raise their hope by prompting them to come out of their comfort zone, after that, let the confrontation begins. It is Also very paramount to lend the service of the locals: OPC, Arewa and Bakassi, they all have vital roles to play. Starting up a fence project can be futuristic to avoid subsequent occurrence not an immediate solution. People are dying daily bro. The most critical part of any military operations is to Establish communications, reinforcements, ammunition lines, food-water-medics, and follow-on forces , build the fence and five will wider, only then the rule of covert warfare will prevail, a wise man once said "attack and the world would yield" it's time we attacked BH at the boarder not within the innocent civilians |

Boyooosa: The great wall of China was built against invaders, invaders underlined. Biko haram are not invaders, they reside and dwell with us. They are a unit of us, they are only organised criminals within us. So how do you start constructing a fence with your own unknown enemy? They are part of the system. Their case is just like a case of somebody locking door to himself for safety, after locking the door, he puts on the light and turns back to see a snake in the small room. U don't see things like a military man, sorry I forgot, there's what u call internal security control, trans boarder movement of arms and insurgents has made the war of terror a hydra effect situation, if you know the head to cut, u will kill the hydra, cut off the supply of manpower and arms, food and machines and u will have a crippling effect on them, the boarders are porous, if we lock down the boarders and initiate blackout ops, sever all satellite and radio coms, that snake in the room will be a lizard |

KNEO777: A Junior Secondary School pupil at Ohafia in Arochukwu Local Government of Abia State has reportedly died after consuming 10 tablets of Tramadol.
This statement was made by the Commandant of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Mr. Akindele Akingbade.
Mr. Akindele Akingbade. who spoke in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, while delivering a lecture at a seminar NDLEA and Office of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Narcotics and Abia State Drug Abuse Control Committee (ADCC) organised for patent medicine dealers.
The Nation reports that Akingbade mentioned in his lecture that the pupil was alleged to have taken the Tramadol tablets to enhance his performance during an inter-house sports competition in his school.
He was said to have died shortly after taking the drugs.
The NDLEA boss, who said Abia was among the states with a high level of drug/substance abuse, added that the governor had been informed about the incident.
He said efforts were being made to apprehend the seller as directed by the governor.
Akingbade advised patent medicine dealers to desist from selling drugs without prescription by doctors or pharmacists.
He attributed the high rate of crimes, including robbery, rape, kidnapping and others to the effect of drugs.
Akingbade said besides the agency’s resolve to take the awareness campaign against selling of harmful drugs to the abusers, they (NDLEA) had begun encouraging schools to establish Drug Free Clubs, to discourage pupils from taking drugs.
The Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Ministry of Health and Chairman, ADCC, Chief Chimezie Uzuegbu, as well as the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ikpeazu, David Anyanwu, hailed NDLEA for its efforts in curbing drug abuse.
The rate at which young people consume the banned drug is quite alarming. Another man was reported to have lost his sanity after consuming 7 tablets Tramdol in Lagos yesterday.
His friends who noticed his unusual behaviour immediately tied him up before administering first aid treatments on him.

overhypedsteve: Too much diversification in the nigerian airforce. Why not focus on one airframe and master it. We re buying scorpion and thunders at the same time and we re surprisingly buying them to play the same role "counter insurgency" which mostly involves ground attack. So if its possible why don't we just buy two squadron of SU30's and train with them. A jack of all trade will remain a master of none. And its not as if when we buy this different airframe we buy them in bulk. You still try self for su30 and asking about the su37,with proper fitting they can detect enemy troops and differentiate them from nigerian forces, tunnels, IEDS and EODS |

xwolverine: The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is close to finalising an order for the purchase of one or two squadrons of the JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft co-produced by Pakistan and China, a senior Pakistani Ministry of Defence official told IHS Jane's on 2 December.
Speaking at the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2014 in Karachi, the official said the NAF finalised its recommendation for the purchase of 25-40 JF-17s after NAF chief air marshal Adesola Nunayon Amosu visited Pakistan in October. AM Amosu's engagements in Pakistan included a visit to the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) at Kamra, north of Islamabad, where the JF-17 is manufactured.

Boyooosa: My brother, your write up here is much of theoretical than practical. Fine, they constructed a road or roads, road they wish to route, they decided it, not necessarily needed to be preplanned, it/they were fabricated and not provisioned in the mapped layout of those geographical areas. My point is that, u can compare road creation to perimeter fencing in this kind of situation, it is highly demanding and capital intensive compared to the picture u r painting here. I quite agree with u on the political will but rest assured that no reasonable person will overlook ur theorem if its quite explorable and worthwhile. I think the political will to go all out and fish them out to the deadliest hole will be more effective. You can't start building perimeter fencing in a place where you don't even know the shape nor where the enemies' base is. The great Wall of China stopped the haun invaders from attacking China, the south fence in (executive order 13767) prototypes have already begun, and death of drug mules have spiked by 17%, the money spent on oil subsidy and recovered looks will suffice, trust me if our leaders have an average IQ this would have been the first line of defence against Boko Haram being backed by isis in niger republic, our tactical snipers and and special forces are capable of holding formations while QRF will deliver if need be air drops and Aerial drone from UCAV 9000 will dominate the air power,

Boyooosa: quote US were not fighting any serious insurgence nor any deadly war when they were building wall against mexico but here we are. Don't you think it will be suicidal putting civilians to work in such porous place and esposing them to the risk of those unrepentant suicide bombers...just thinking anyway. Have you ever heard of Chris kyle, , have you heard of combat engineers or defence contractors? military engineering is that engineer activity undertaken, regardless of component or service, to shape the physical operating environment. Military engineering incorporates support to maneuver and to the force as a whole, including military engineering functions such as engineer support to force protection, counter-improvised explosive devices, environmental protection, engineer intelligence and military search. The word engineer was initially used in the context of warfare, dating back to 1325 when engine’er (literally, one who operates an engine) referred to "a constructor of military engines".In this context, "engine" referred to a military machine, i. e., a mechanical contraption used in war (for example, a catapult). As the design of civilian structures such as bridges and buildings developed as a technical discipline, the term civil engineering entered the lexicon as a way to distinguish between those specializing in the construction of such non-military projects and those involved in the older discipline. As the prevalence of civil engineering outstripped engineering in a military context and the number of disciplines expanded, the original military meaning of the word “engineering” is now largely obsolete. In its place, the term "military engineering" has come to be used. They are also known as sappers or pioneers and recently they constructed a road leading into Sambisa Forest, I mean Gwoza-Yamtake-Bita-Tokumbere-Sambisa and Gwoza-Yamtake-Bita roads being built in combat zones, as for your question defence contractors are known to carry out tasks in combat zones too, they are experts in this so leave the rest to them what we need is a leader that's willing, which we don't have, and a lot of concrete cement and steel, which we have in abundance in nigeria. |
