I think they should change that law. The minimum requirements for any govt position should be a university degree or its equivalent. We can't have illiterates & and semi educated people making laws, managing our wealth and telling us the best way to grow our economy.

@OP, I'll advise couple's therapy if there's such in Nigeria. Going to any third party that you and your wife knows is not ideal. Better spill the beans to someone that can keep the discussion secret and actually be of assistance and not someone that's not a professional who may or may not keep it to themselves.

In as much as I don't support the activities of the shi'tes as a group, but their rights shouldn't be abused. The NP should just identify the troublemakers in the group and arrest them. A situation where the police will be harassing and abusing people's right simply because they belong to a 'particular group' shouldn't arise. 'Arrest somebody' shouldn't be interpreted as 'kill or harrass' the person by the NP

couldn't have said it any better. The govt and its agencies are on pirated crack. All they can do is intimidate those that have no violence tendency while those killing and burning houses are given clemency and celebrated by the same govt.
